Soon as I got in my car as I wanted to have it as fresh as possible. Just gonna say this. THIS IS ART! WOW!!! Thin crispy slices of heaven charred to perfection with the flames of the gods. Ive have pizza at some of the best and High rated spots in the TRI state area and Baci goes toe to toe with all of them RESPECT! 🙌🙌🙌

Every once in a rare while you might find something so exceptional that it changes an entire genre. I did. It's name is Baci Pizzeria. And I don't think pizza will ever be the same for me.

The pizzas here are like nothing I've ever had, all made with a high-hydration sourdough and allowed to rise far longer than usual. Those long, slow steps take extra time and effort, but create an unusually flavorful dough that turns good into extraordinary. That seems to be how pizza begins at Baci.

We tried two different pies this trip. A basic round pie with soppressata, red sauce, mozzarella, and hot honey. Plus a Detroit style square with prosciutto and arugula. There's no question we'll be back for the others and whatever may pop up on their Special of the Week menus.

The crust of this round pie is fairly thin, a bit chewy, and flavorful enough to be its own happy event. The red sauce is reduced almost to a jam, pushing the acidity of the tomatoes toward an intensified umami. The result is incredible and I haven't even finished my first bite.

That basic deliciousness is topped with a bit of mozzarella and just enough hot honey to announce that this is something different. And the result is somewhere between WOW and WONDERFUL. As I said, like nothing else.

That round pie looked a bit small at first and the toppings seemed minimal. And yet this may be the most opulent slice of pizza I have ever eaten....

The I got to the Detroit square and my knees were knocking in joy... That's the pie I want to take with me to eternity.

Only an inch or so tall and barely five inches wide it may seem small at first glance. Don't be fooled. All the goodness has been condensed into this astonishing little masterpiece. The dough takes center stage here and prosciutto adds a richness that's balanced by the sharp tang of arugula.

That's the key to almost everything here - balance. Every tiny addition adds to the whole without overpowering it.... The result is consistently stunning.

For now, Baci is takeout only. Order online or expect a longish wait because this really is the antithesis of fast food. Long lines haven't started yet but I suspect that'll change as word gets out.

There is simply nothing else like this amazing eatery. The small room was already stacked floor to ceiling with empty pizza boxes waiting to be filled. I joked that it looked like enough to last a long long time. "Oh no," said the young man folding and stacking the boxes, "they'll be gone by tomorrow...."

Excellent pizza! Since moving to Putnam County from Brooklyn 1 year ago this is the best pizza I've found so far, and I've been hunting! They run the gamut in styles which they do justice to each one. I'd come here exclusively if they were closer than a half hour away from me.

Best pizza in Westchester. Period. Lots of love put into every pie. I couldn't say enough good things and if it was up to me, I'd order from them every single day.

It's just leaps and bounds better than all local places. If you're used to the same ol pizza then this is going to take it to an entirely new level.

By far the best pizza in Cortland/Croton/Montrose area. There’s pics of the owner at renowned pizza shop Di Fara and they tracks after trying it for the first time not too long ago. SO glad to have a local that tastes as good as pizza I used to get in the city. Not a great pic but it gets the point across.

This is truly some of the best pizza I've ever had anywhere -- it goes toe to toe with the more famous places in NYC. You can just tell from the moment you walk in that the people here are passionate about pizza, and know what the hell they're doing. I was dreaming about this pizza afterwards.

Stopped in by chance...so glad i did you will be too. Pizza was splendid; bright flavors, chewy sourdough crust. Will definitely be back

Had a couple pizzas on a Wednesday night when they serve up with tables in the parking lot. BYOB and delicious pizza.

It’s been tough the last few weeks, Pizzeria Baci has been missed. Their amazing pies have been the only pizza my family and I have eaten since June. Hope they come back soon.

Everything I've had so far has been amazing. Everything is freshly made. Take out only and discount for cash.

Hands down the only pizza I consider eating other than my own. Its a real dough, not the cardboard that is offered at those other places in town. It's cooked perfectly too.

The best pizza west of Naples Italy. Better than the best of NYC. Made with that old school tradition and care for the details that’s hard to find! Try the margarita you’ll never go anywhere else again!

This is a take out restaurant that makes their pizza using a different type of flour. And their pizza is thin crust and well done, excellent. On Wednesdays, weather permitting , they set up tables outside and have a large wood burning pizza oven outside.

Detroit Style pizza absolutely amazing, mouth watering taste, extra crispy with a dab of honey on top, if you haven't had it yet I recommend, rest of there food can't miss!!

This is without question the best pizza in the area and probably some of the best pizza I’ve ever had in general. As many reviewers have mentioned, Chris is an artisan who is looking to deliver a superior pizza to his customers and puts his heart and soul in to all of his food. They start taking orders at 3pm, so your best bet is to call early and let them know what time you would like to pick up. You also have to treat yourself to then captain crunch chicken fingers. They are amazing. I can no longer order pies from other pizzerias in the area, this place is just too good!
