Shawn Paul Salon

This salon is two minutes from my house and I wish I had discovered it sooner after I moved to town. I’ve had four gel manicures here with four different nail techs, and every single experience has been great. Love the atmosphere and Nespresso machine. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and everyone has impeccable attention to detail. The manicure Katy did for me last weekend is an absolute work of art - I cannot stop staring at how beautiful it is!

First time in the salon yesterday (Saturday) and got my hair cut and colored yesterday by one of the stylists. Loved my hair in salon, but when I went out into the sunlight/other lightings I realized that it wasn't quite the color I was looking for! I called in to the salon this morning (Sunday) when they opened. The front desk girl, Marcy, was the kindest soul I've ever had the pleasure with interacting with. She did everything in her power to make sure I got in before starting my work week on Monday morning. She ultimately got me in with the owner, Vivian, who graciously agreed to take me after her last appointment of the day. Even though Vivian's work day was technically over, she was so patient while she worked with me to help me get my hair to what I wanted it to be. 2 hours later, I loved my hair! She even went outside with me to look at it in the natural sunlight to make sure it was the color I wanted.

What could've been a horrible experience, these ladies made me feel so cared for and valued! I left loving my hair and an amazing reminder that there are amazing, kind people in this world!

HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone and everyone (it's also freaking adorable inside). I know I will never go anywhere else!

Karrington gave me the exact cut I wanted and made me feel so beautiful! She did amazing with my curly hair. Would definitely recommend her if you are looking for the curly hair cut of your dreams!

Shannon is incredible! She is an absolute perfectionist, and very obviously cares a great deal about the work that she does. Her station is kept extremely clean and tidy, and she is so caring throughout the service. We had a great discussion about my hair goals, looked at some reference photos together, and Shannon made sure that we were on the same page before we started. I felt heard throughout the entirety of the service. I cannot speak highly enough of her attention to detail, her kindness, and the quality of her service!

Been coming to Shawn Paul Salon for a while now and I love it here SO much. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The team is so friendly and incredibly sweet. I get my nails done here every 2-3 weeks, and my nail girls knock it out of the park every. single. time!!! Their retail area is full of cute stuff. There's even yummy sparkling waters or coffee to drink. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough.

Shawn Paul Salon is an amazing and exceptional place, I truly believe that they are the best in Cleveland area. I have become their devoted customer more than a year ago, after I relocated to Cleveland from another country. My initial plan was to make a list of nearby salons to choose the most appropriate one for myself. But once I stepped into the Shawn Paul Salon, I understood that I don’t want to go anywhere else. This is a fantastic place with great Professionals and an extremely comfortable, warm and friendly atmosphere.
In the beginning I was doing my nails with Karrington and my nails always looked so perfect and beautiful.
Now, when Karrington has transferred mostly to the hair stylists team, Lily takes care of my nails, doing a great job, being very professional and efficient.
Renee is my Stylist, and she is incredible both on professional and personal level. I love all Renee’s suggestions and ideas related to my hair color and style, and outcome of her work is always marvelous.
I go to Char to do facials, and now I cannot even imagine that I could go to someone else. Iny my opinion, Char is one of the best and professional Estheticians I have met in my life (and I have a vast experience :). Char does magic things with the skin, making you look beautiful and feel happy.
And of course my special thanks to the Front Desk Ladies (Emily was the one who first welcomed me as a new customer, and this first contact shaped my understanding that this is my place :)), they are always so supportive, positive, friendly, and attentive to every detail.
Luckily, I live not far to this place, but I am sure that even if I weren’t too close, I would travel any distance to this place, no matter how much time it would take me :). In one word, highly recommend this place, you will never regret.

Shannon was so good, she brought my dry crispy curls to life! My hair looked amazing the next morning when I woke up, I‘be never had that happen before lol. She was really knowledgeable and professional, and used the perfect product for my hair!

I absolutely love Shawn Paul Salon and have been getting my nails done and an occasional eyebrow wax for over a year now. Katy does an awesome job with my nails and I always feel so great and confident after getting them done. Whether I want an elaborate Halloween design or a simple color, it looks great. Char has done my eyebrows a few times too and she is so calming and helps you feel relaxed the whole time. Truly a great experience for both services. 5/5 would recommend!!

I got two haircuts here while living in Cleveland and they were the best I've had. They used any reference I had and took their time. My hair is 3A, and I have a lot. They were patient and attentive and they knew what I needed to achieve the look. I moved away and needed another hair cut and wow! I miss this salon!!!

I get my hair, wax services and nails done here and I have never been disappointed in the slightest. The most professional advice and service in town and I will never go anywhere else. A high end salon that is comfortable with no egos, no pretentiousness and very much so a positive and conscious community. Be yourself here, you are Welcome.

I’ve been going here for 3 years now, and I would never go anywhere else. I’ve had Jen and Renee as my stylists and I highly recommend both! I was platinum blonde, which is never easy, and Renee took me to red and I’m always so happy with my results. Best salon in Cleveland!

I highly recommend the salon. Everyone I encountered was very friendly. I was scheduled for a consult with Karrington and she is absolutely amazing. She really made sure she understood what I was hoping to have done. She provided realistic expectations to ensure I would look my absolute best leaving the salon but made sure to preserve my hairs integrity and curls. She ended up having an opening after our consultation and did my service that day. I'm absolutely thrilled with how my hair turned out and cannot wait to go back to her.

I was on the hunt for a new salon after my long-time stylist moved to a location I wasn't willing to travel to. I had gotten a manicure at Shawn Paul Salon several years ago, and liked the vibe of their space, so I decided to book a hair cut appointment online with Zoe. I'm so glad I chose Zoe - she has been so fun to work with and I have been so impressed with my hair! She gave me peanut butter and jelly hair over the summer, which came out beautifully and she's also done a great job getting me back to my natural hair color. She takes her time with hair cuts and always does a great job. She recommends products without being pushy, and I've found some great products at her suggestion. I've also been seeing Katy for my gel manicures, and I've been impressed with the quality of her work as well. Her manicures gave me nearly an extra month with a nail that was breaking too low to cut, and I've been going back regularly ever since because I enjoy our conversations and the work that she does. With so many salons out there with cold, sterile décor, I really love how inviting and homey Shawn Paul Salon is, and I appreciate all of the COVID-19 precautions they're taking. Yes, it feels weird to leave the salon with wet hair, but I like that they're taking things seriously for the safety of their staff and customers.

Shawn Paul Salon is my favorite salon on the planet! The incredible kind team, their professionalism, and the fun vibe of the salon makes it feel like home every time I visit. I recently moved to Cleveland; I was lucky to have wonderful folks in Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville who I really liked for so many services. I went online to find new folks for hair and nails, looking at various criteria. I feel so lucky to have found Shawn Paul Salon-it is such a wonderful place.

The decor itself is very comfortable and unique; the salon is very clean as well. The staff across the board (from the time you walk in to the salon) are very friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful consultation and haircut with Anna; she had to clean some things up from prior cuts and did a great job! I just had a hard gel manicure with Brittany today. She is an absolutely lovely person and also gave me a great manicure.

What really struck me was the overall vibe. The staff are all professional but also warm; they genuinely seem to like each other and what they do.

I have the best experience at Shawn Paul Salon. Perfect hair color and hair cut by Renee. She has an amazing eye for color and skin tone and decides the color that looks the very best on you. I am so glad that my friend recommended Shawn Paul to me and even more that I got it done from Renee. So, if you want to get your hair done, now you know whom to go to!!

I went to Shawn Paul after a salon I had been using on Coventry closed. My first visit I had a cut and color by Holly and was really happy with the results. Great cut, great job on the color.
I had to cancel an appointment due to illness and during that time I decided to stop coloring and stop straightening my hair. I started to work on a curl routine on my own and knew getting a cut would make a huge difference. I finally booked another appointment with Holly and got my first dry cut. She gave me a few tips and product suggestions and off I went. I have never been happier with a haircut! The curls last longer, my hair looks and feels healthier. Thank you!!
