Food is FIRE! I’ve been living in Albany now for 6 months, heard amazing things about this lady & her food. I’m telling you to order this food NOW, do not wait like I did to try. Sooo good. Huge portions for a great price! I’m excited now to try the whole menu. Thank you Allie B’s! Much love!!!

I from long island and there is no better soul food in the upstate capital district then here the yams corn bread mac and cheeses shrimp bbq chicken and turkey wings oh and cat fish is my favs oh and the staff is wonderful the owner is so great always smiling she has such a good soul the main reason why i come when i don't cook myself. This is my go to when im fasting or need a good home cook meal God bless all if u that put this food together and that goes the extra mile for your customers definitely 5 stars oh and did i mention its very clean they wear gloves and always have their hair covered and yes im a pickie person so they are great 🥰🥰🥰😘🙏💪🤞🏻💖

Almost as good as my mama's cooking. Portions are great - can never eat all in a sitting.

The food here is amazing especially the macaroni and cheese and corn bread my number one favorite which is very hard to choose is the fish my second choice would be the rib and third choice would be the turkey wings I love all their side dishes especially the macaroni salad which is only served on the weekends overall Allie B's cozy kitchen is amazing...
FYI just in case you were not aware Allie B also caters to all events as well take special orders my family and I for 2018 had an amazing Thanksgiving thanks to Allie B's cozy kitchen we brought a turkey ham and a duck boy oh boy was my family friends and loved ones impressed...

What an incredible creator of cuisine Allie B's is a Caputal District gem in many ways. It may be small in space but it is big in flavor, quality and purpose. The food is simply amazing, and the owner/staff, some of the best humans I have ever met.

I'm a college student and I've been looking for a really good soul food spot to get authentic food from the south and I found it. My friends had ordered food from this place on Friday and I tasted just one of her fried shrimps and I knew immediately that I wanted to get food from here. So the next day on Saturday I ordered fried shrimp with mac & cheese, cabbage and cornbread it was extremely delicious and I would highly recommend everyone checking this place out.

One of our favorite places for periodic venturing into soul food! Kizzy is wonderful, as are the rest of the staff. This is turning into one of the more historic places to eat in Albany, and the service to the community is remarkable. But the food!!! Delicious!

It was a pleasure meeting Ms Allie B and her wife. Her macaroni was very good and flavorful. Her chicken was delicious and crispy, this was after reheating it the next day. She was very nice and gave me a sample of her BBQ ribs. They were soft and very flavorful as well. My friend spoke highly of her contribution to one of the local schools during Black Appreciation Month. She wowed everyone. Based on meeting her I can understand.
