Only drove through here but worth a review since we don't have these in my state. Prompt, fast service in the drive thru, very delicious, hot food with definitely generous portions. Mac & cheese is really tasty. 10/10.

It's a great little seafood place. I went there late and it was some of the best Captain D's I've had. It was hot and fresh. Fish was great. They didn't have any cracklins and that made me sad. They apparently don't keep them later in the evening. Get it together. Those are the best part!

Someone said they waited 45 min for food, I've ate there all my life and I've never waited that long. You can plainly see in the expected time most people spend 15 to 45 min total inside and that includes eating time. I've known people that have worked there and I know for a fact all food is made as you order except during expected busy times such as Sunday afternoon. So if you have to wait long for anything you've probably ordered something on their seasonal menu that takes a little longer to make on the spot therefore it's fresh. I personally eat there and love their food.

Capt D's has consistently good fish and shrimp. I like the southern style fish. Prices are reasonable and they offer unsweet tea with fresh lemon,. Service is good and friendly.

Restaurant could use a face-lift on the inside

It's always a pleasure to go to Captain D's. The staff are very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and always helpful. Everything is always fresh & delicious. They recently finally just put out coupons again which is great. I would recommend this place to anyone & everyone. If you're coming through Circleville going north or south I highly recommend stopping here the food is absolutely delicious. The tea is delicious they offer both sweet and unsweet tea made fresh all day throughout the day and they sell gallon jugs of sweet and unsweet tea just ask for one. They have coffee, soda/pop, desserts such as apple pie, cheesecakesn small chocolate cakes, funnel cake fries. They also offer soup's. They have many different type of breading on their fish as well as many different types of fish including grilled fish and lots of different side dishes to choose from everything from applesauce, french fries, coleslaw, cottage cheese, side salads. If you have a question just ask, for instance if you'd like cheese on your salad just ask, if you would like light cheese on your baked potato just ask. They also have other side dishes such as okra, green beans, and broccoli just to name a few of the extra side dishes but the list goes on & on. They have grilled crab cakes, crab, lobster bites and lobster rolls. They have a kids menu as well as a seniors menu. They also offer large family dinners. You can call in a head of time to place an order. there is a parking lot with handicapped parking spaces available. here is a men & women's restroom available while the women's bathroom only offers the one bathroom stall you can go in and stand and wait your turn and be patient. There booth seating as well as tables. On a side note they also have lemonade.

I had the lemon pepper grilled white fish. It was really good. I love their breaded fried okra too. I always like anything I eat there.
