Super 8 by Wyndham Gallipolis Pt Pleasant Area

I was well pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. The breakfast bar had several options with biscuits and gravy being the hot item that morning. Definitely would stay again.

We booked this hotel to visit Point Pleasant. It’s location is convenient and near restaurants. If you drive west you’ll find good local restaurants downtown Gallipolis. The room was perfectly clean and functional. The shower had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was basic hotel fair, waffles, bagels, cereal, juice, milk and a few other items. The staff was very friendly. We were able to park in front of our window which is helpful to keep an eye on these old cars.

Quick and easy check in... so friendly and helpful at breakfast the next morning 🌄. Location is close to many food options, close to the Silver Memorial Bridge and Ohio River. Our room has been recently updated, complete with table and chairs, microwave and decent size mini fridge with freezer 🧊. Overall a great choice for our stay to visit Mothman 🪽 🧚‍♂🧌

I wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Clean rooms, didn’t smell bad. Pet friendly with $25 fee. Breakfast is lacking, but found something to tide me over.

I got stranded one night back in April 2022 and I had to be the luckiest person in the world that night. I pulled in about 3 AM with a vehicle issue and the Lady at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful.
The next morning, the staff knew about our issue and had a list of places that could help us out. Mike at the gas & service station was very helpful. Mike was unfortunately not able to do the work due to a staffing issue, but I mentioned I could do the work if I can get the parts and the use of a few specialized tools. Mike said no problem.
Meanwhile my wife stayed at the Motel and was treated Royally by the staff. In the meantime I had gone back to the room from the service station to get my vehicle and Mike had already ordered the parts I needed for the repairs. I got back to the station and ready to do the work and before I knew it I had a running vehicle.
When we left the Motel, my wife was getting hugs from the staff. It was like we were leaving family behind. It warms my heart remembering this moment while I wright this much delayed review.
This moment of bad luck has certainly turned out to be one of the greatest moments and memories.

My family always stays here when visiting the area. The staff is always nice and the rooms are kept clean. We highly recommend staying here!

From check in to check out was a great experience. We had a king suite and it did not disappoint. Comfy bed and very clean. Quiet . Just wonderful stay

I travelled from out-of-state and stayed at the Gallipolis Super 8 by the Silver Bridge, when my Aunt was buried this past Feb.
The staff was extremely caring, friendly and helpful.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was thorough, warm and friendly.
The only thing I would improve (on behalf of the housekeeping staff) would be to fix the caulking in the tub surround. It's obvious they try to keep it clean, but it is cracking badly.
I loved the fact that the refrigerator in the room was a proper "Dorm" style refrigerator with a separate fridge and freezer. This allowed me to save my ice (10lb bag!) for my cooler, and have plenty of fridge space for cold-cuts, snacks and drinks if I didn't feel like eating out.
There was also an in-room microwave, coffee maker, full sized ironing board and iron (came in handy!), and a compact hair dryer.
This Super 8 has a continental breakfast, with waffles. The lady taking care of the breakfast area made the waffles to order for people, and brought them to the table. Both of the ladies on while I was there were delightful.

I highly recommend this Super 8 for any one looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, with a staff who takes pride in their work, and service.

In these days of cost cutting and inability to fully staff, this was a refreshing place to stay. They had a newspaper available for me, provided us with a balcony room, offered terrific recommendations for places to eat and were so courteous.

Love the staff! Every year, my church stays at the hotel because we attend the Enterprise Baptist Church Association. The staff has always been nice and accommodating with our needs.

Good location right off of the highway. Service was great late at night. The included breakfast, while very simple, was enough to get us back on the road quickly early in the AM!

great place to stop for an overnight stay. Location is great with restaurants just next door. The remodel looks great. We will stay there again.

It was late and I was tired - but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a room. I went ahead and booked a night here - the cheapest place around - and prepared for the worst. I was wrong! I was pleasantly surprised by my nice, large, clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Breakfast was ok - nothing special but completely acceptable options for a budget hotel.

The room was perfectly clean and functional. The plumbing was perfect. The breakfast was a very tasty biscuits and gravy, bagels, cereal, juice, milk and a few other items that I can't remember. The staff cares about you and your wishes for your stay.

Our expectations are not high for a discount motel chain, but this Super 8 exceeded them in all respects.

Had trouble finding a vacancy this night, so I admit Super 8 wasn't my first choice, but it should've been!
Excellent service, the young woman at the desk that night was very kind and even helped me with a few items I needed (it was an emergency stop, not planned so I wasn't packed for it), thanks for the much needed mouthwash! 😅
Rooms were very clean and quiet... One small complaint was that there were no comforters for the beds, only very light blankets, would've slept better with a heavier one, but I doubled up what was in the room and still slept pretty well.
Great wifi, clean bathrooms, reasonable prices!
