Tavern Restaurant

I stayed at the Microtel which is literally right next to the Tavern. I'm not the bar type anymore but I did happen to order my food here and it was outstanding. Much better than I had even anticipated. I was so happy with the food I bought the first night. That I ordered several more meal over then span of my stay. The pizza was phenomenal and the chicken wings were too! I also ordered a haddock sandwich and my wife a chicken cordon blue and I was just as happy with them.

I was looking for a spicy burger and I found one. Perfectly cooked and assembled, it was just what the Doctor did NOT order. Napkins provided for grease chin. Fantastic burger.

Stopped in for lunch while my dad was at the dentist.

Great selection of beers, nice variety of food across the menu. Cozy family atmosphere and fantastic staff. Felt like home.

Will definitely be coming back when in town! Will bring my pup along too! (they're dog friendly 🐕)

I am soul of hopeless Jason Allison I perform at this establishment and I bring in people that love the place just like I do I am so glad that I am a part of the entertainment, all the stuff is just wonderful, I always look forward to coming back, just played there a few weeks ago and it was a big crowd, and everybody had a great time and so did I would recommend this place for lunch, dinner and all!

The Tavern was a nice break from the breweries in the area. Offered your genuine bar vibes and activities which I enjoyed while I drank. Offers two pool tables($1.25 pp), darts($) and table shuffleboard(free). Drinks were reasonably priced and had a lot of bottles/cans and your usual on draft.

Decent drafts, good food, reasonable prices. The cheesy bread that comes with the salad is excellent. I’d definitely return.

Stopped here on our way back to Buffalo from Watkins Glen. Food ordered was a burger and a ham and cheese sandwich. The food was very good. And they have real fresh cut french fries, not the fake seasoned ones. Wanted to sit out on the patio but the chairs at the high tops are kind of uncomfortable. So we sat inside. Our server/bartender was phenomenal. Very friendly and talkative. If you are passing through, I would highly recommend this place.

The Tavern is my favorite place to go for lunch or dinner! The atmosphere is fun, the music is the perfect volume, the staff are always attentive and friendly! You can sit at the bar, a high-top table or a booth, or go into the other room where it's quieter and less crowded and sit at a table there. Highly recommend for good bar food!

The Chicken Pesto sandwich with red pepper and spinach is my ultimate fav here, it tastes like it was grilled outdoors! The homemade fries taste like boardwalk fries, and they have vinegar available, yum! (Please note I ate a lot of the piping hot fries before I thought to take a pic. The Tavern is exactly as described, a "tavern" so pick a song on the fancy juke box and settle in for a beer.

We ended in this place because no other place was open on Christmas Day. And honestly it was fun. The pizza was yummy and the loaded fries were pure heaven. And the best part was the attendant. Very polite, friendly and attentive. And inspite of having a lot the bill amount turned out to be meagre. Had a good time
