Sierra Club

Sierra Club Ohio is a pretty amazing group of people dedicated to explore, enjoying and protecting the planet. I work for the Sierra Club Ohio Chapter and it is very fulfilling because as a public interest group we help to make peoples lives better through a healthy environment. Everyday we are working to protect clean air, water and access to public lands. Help us create change in Ohio, join us at a local group meeting.

I have visited the Sierra Club's Ohio office [in downtown Columbus] several times during the past several years, sometimes in conjunction with "lobby day" events at the Ohio Statehouse, three blocks to the south, and sometimes with a friend who is an active Sierra Club volunteer who regularly visits that office.

This small organization does a lot of very important work.
