Gordo's Restaurant

If I had to describe Gordo's in one word I'd say "EXCEPTIONAL ". This restaurant is deceptive. It maintains a bar like appearance but dont let looks fool you. Gordo's menu has everything from a vegan salad to filet mignon served perfectly. I've had the rare opportunity to taste almost everything on the menu . The food is fresh, the soups are home made. The servers ( I prefer Lisa) are on their "A" game. The drink menu is plentiful though I wish they had a bigger wine selection. Whether you're in the mood for a Beacon Cheeseburger smothered with mushroom onion garlic and catsup or a tasty franciase dish I assure you, you wont be disappointed. When I learned they cater too, I took advantage of the service. EVERYONE asked for this restaurants tel.#.

I've been going here for over 30 years (since I was 4 years old). I consider their Onion Soup as the gold standard to which I compare all other Onion Soups. Every time I order an Onion Soup somewhere else, I'm disappointed. The wings are great and every bit as good as The Candlelight. My favorites are: of course the Onion Soup, the Philly Cheesesteak and the Tavern Chicken. 30 years and I've never once left disappointed or hungry!

I'm always pleased. Love the daily lunchoen specials. Love the Pea soap as much as the wonderful onion soup... Not to forget, Ralph the bartender...Great drinks and service.
