The woman who runs this place is such a kind person. The food is always great, and we love going here. The atmosphere is very traditional for American Chinese and almost nostalgic and comforting.

Hands down the greatest Chinese restaurant I've ever been to! When you enter, it feels like every hole-in-the-wall Chinese place you've been at, small and colorful. That changes first with the service, as they treat you like family from the start.

Once you order, you're expecting the usual basic food. Let me tell you, you get what you paid for, as the portions are very hearty and the flavors complex and homemade in their warmth. Food is fresh and piping hot!

Prices are very fair, with great food, great service, all in a homely environment. There may be a wait time, but they are understaffed and the food will be well with the wait. Please, go here if you're considering. I put this on my 100 places to go in your lifetime.

A special shout-out to our waitress Ting. You'd think she's your mother, she looks after you so well! If you have her as your waitress, expect the best and tip her well!

I try to go here weekly, always great food and great service. The meat is always plentiful and the veggies are always fresh.

Best Chinese food in Gahanna for over 20 years. Their lunch specials are out of this world and very affordable. (Huge portions, too!)

This is our favorite Chinese food restaurant, I would argue it’s better than Hunan Lion (off Bethel rd) and has the best noodles!! Very consistent food, No MSG and always delicious - I think most everything is homemade including their noodles. Staff is really kind and helpful. We always give them extra 10-15min to prepare our food compared to when they say it’ll be ready. So I would recommend waiting a bit longer before leaving the house if you’re doing take out so it’s ready when you arrive. Worth the wait!!!

Best Chinese Food in Columbus. I have been going here for over 23 years. I even drive over 8 miles now to get it because I no longer live in Gahanna but for me, its worth it. Same owner for over 25 years. I watched their kids grow up. I Love Jade Bowl House!!

Food was amazing. Decor is fun and vibrant. Staff was super nice and friendly. Portions were pretty good considering the price. The average lunch combo is around $7 which is the same or cheaper than a fast food place nowadays. Would much rather go here than one of those. They are also celebrating there 25 year anniversary so they have been around a while. Definitely a must try and I will be back.

Delicious food!! We ordered the sesame chicken, fried rice, beef lo mein and everything was great! The chicken especially was outstanding!! Ordered for pickup and everything was hot and perfect to eat when I got home. Highly recommend, even though the menu is hard to read on the website.

This was our first time there. We went on the recommendation of a co-worker. They've been there for 25 years. The regulars know to just grab a menu and sit anywhere. That's what they told us. The decor was beautiful and the food was awesome. My husband said he has a new favorite dish!

The best Chinese food I have had in forever. Food was excellent and service was good as well. The meal itself is 6.50 as a combo which comes with the main meal, a soup, rice and an egg roll. Very big portions. On a side note get the egg drop soup. My wife hates egg drop soup and she ate it.

Ordered the sesame chicken and fried rice for lumch last week. So tasty! The sauce tasted different and was sweet and savory and was such a nice change! 5 stars for sure!!

The food was great, service was promp and friendly, and the portions were huge! I had the House Pan Fried Noodles and my husband had the Egg Foo Yung. Both were great and we had plenty to take home.
