The history of this castle was very intriguing. The videos they show are very informative and explain how and why it was built. A lot of neat photos and displays.

This is one of the most fascinating and unique places I've been to. The staff was very friendly and informative. You can do a self tour in about 45 minutes. My husband and I stayed about 3 hours just soaking in the uniqueness of this place. I just couldn't get enough of it.

Loveland Castle is a gem of a curiosity in Ohio. Be sure to watch the three brief documentary films on the castle's late owner and builder, which are fascinating. The castle itself is full of fascinating artifacts, all of which have their own little stories, and the grounds are lovely at any time of year.

Amazing castle hidden away. The venue is more about the guy who built it than medieval history, which is fine. It's mind boggling imagining the work that went into it.

An interesting piece of Loveland history.
We didn't go inside, but sure enjoyed walking around the outside.

We love our new city! It's full of quirky surprises. Like this castle near Loveland. The history behind the building of it, as well as the gentleman behind the building, is fascinating. It's super affordable at $5. Lovely gardens, too. We took a picnic and our dog. A really fun couple of hours.

Easily worth the $5 entry fee! If in the area, I highly recommend it. My 3.5 year old even thought it was really cool. We showed up and as soon as it opened and it wasn't too busy.

I enjoy visiting this castle and hearing about the history and the man who built it. It's a great place to visit!

Loved it. It was a nice place to visit and all the history with it. I wish we could have seen everything but you can't go in the dungeon area or climb any of the ladder steps to top but it was still great. I would go again.

Such a great experience with so much interesting history. Worth the few hour drive we took, and we encourage anyone to visit! The area is motorcycle friendly, but be careful on the descending road down to the castle as there is some fine loose gravel over the pavement.

Great place to see a "medieval Castle" in our own country! The story begins the builder was incredible and a testament to his life and what a human can do when you put your all in to it. Very safe for the children as well as educational. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. The road leading in is rather steep and curvey. Great place to have a picnic if the weather is nice.

Entry is $5 and well worth it, the guy at the front will tell you all abt the place if u want. There are several informative videos and a lovely garden to see aside from just the castle. Definitely a recommended trip, I just wouldn't recommend taking small children as the stairs are a bit steep to climb.

This was a cool little stop I discovered using the Roadtrippers app. It was a fun place to visit, and I would recommend friends and family to visit if passing through. While the castle is very unique, it's more so the story of how it was made that makes it beautiful.
When you visit make sure to stop in the room with the video explaining how and why the castle came to be, and all of the love and effort put into it, and some background on the Knights of the Golden Trail.
When you come to visit, be careful driving down the road leading to the entrance as it is a steep slope and a very sharp curve. There are some picnic tables down by the river below the castle if you make this a scenic rest stop on your travels.

This space is amazing. The man who built this castle is inspiring. He truly understands the concept of giving and "paying it forward". Every piece 🧩 of this place has been made by his hands. The rocks came from the river and he created and formed each brick
that made the interior walls.
He was a man of vision and strong Christian values. That inspired the future generations with the creation of the " round table" which he used to send youth to college.
This is a great place to take the family. Children will love the variety of armored knights in the rooms as well as the wall of swords.
The grounds are creative with various flowerbeds including one with a dragon that appears to be coming out of the ground. It even has a dungeon with bone remains. Every part of this castle has been carefully and creatively done! At just 5.00/per person it won't break the bank either.

Great place to spend 2 or 3 hours exploring. The castle was cool, and so was the story. If you are in the area, stop and check it out. Admission was $5.00.

I bet a lot of you people didn't know that Cincinnati has its own castle. It was built by hand mostly by one man who carried the rocks from the river bed of the great Miami river. It costs $5. A person to get in parking is free. And it's very interesting and has a great history.

Nice historic place to be in and learn about the knights, I like the Knight’s Templar where they can sit and discuss their next move with their king and queen and fellow knights 😊👍
