What a nice lil Gem. Great food & prices reasonable, 5.00 more after 3pm on lunch though 😉. It seems like everyone knows each other & the staff. Highly recommend to try.

We read reviews and that’s what lead us to this gem so now I’m leaving one of my own! This place did not disappoint and I am pretty picky about Chinese food.. I can not stand most places that do the typical “cookie cutter” Chinese food that’s rush cooked and sits out during lunch/dinner hours and it all tastes basically the same! This chef farmed pride in his craft and it shows! Each item is cooked to order and the freshness of the ingredients shines through! We never take a chance on Chinese while we are traveling but I am sure glad we did this time! My only request- please expand your business and open a restaurant in western Mass as well I would love to eat your food regularly! Thank you for a great dinner!!!

Husband and I went to China Villa in Middleton last night and I had the BEST Sesame chicken I've ever had. They give you so much that I even have some for lunch today It was Perfect and the scorpion bowl was one of the best as well. Husband had a combo plate and said everything was very fresh and his Mai Tai was on point. Perfect night to go it wasn't packed.

This restaurant came through the pandemic looking even better. They refurbished it but it's still a cozy, friendly place. I always thought they made a really fantastic egg foo young. The chef likes to create new dishes so I got the spicy beef dumplings this time. I'm glad I did. They were scrumptious. I saved some to take home to my wife and she loved them. The menu is a bit smaller now but what they make they make well. I'll be back.

Fresh and tasty! Very nice server.
I got a lunch combo. $11 and I couldn't finish. They use high quality ingredients and no MSG. A far cry from places that precook appetizers and they sit until someone orders. I appreciate when everything is cooked to order. Dining room is simple and spotless!

Best Asian Cuisine I have ever had!!! The ingredients are fresh, the food is flavorful and never greasy. My son and daughter agree the Steamed Peking Ravioli are the best and biggest they have ever had. My personal favorite is the Chicken Lo Mein-it is full of chicken and flavor! Each time we eat in or get take out we try something new and everything is delicious!! Go try it for yourself you won't be disappointed!

I been to few private parties hosted here and they serve delightful and tasty food that wasn't in the menu.

The Villa never dissapoints. All of their dishes are delicious. Superfresh and well balanced flavor. What a great atmosphere there too. Super friendly staff and fabulous cocktails! This restaurant has been selected by Hilton Honors Dining as a premier eatery on the NorthShore and by Marriott Bonvoy

Rosie is the bartender here. She is always accommodating, super friendly and offers excellent suggestions, when you just don't know what you want. I've never tried so many different Chinese dishes before I came here. I was always a pu-up for two kinda girl but she made a suggestion one day, and changed my dirty ways lol. Every single thing I have tried has been excellent. Try the chefs noodles, they are phenomenal. Pricing is great, food is delicious, the company is awesome but the service is why I keep coming back.

I have never had a poor meal. Everything is excellent every time! Thank you for a tasty Mother’s Day surprise ( take out ) for my Mom. One of the dishes I ordered, was Hon Sue Yoke — my mother’s favorite — and it was the best we’ve ever had.

The china Villa has been there in Middleton MA. As long as I can remember.. but my son and I went two weeks ago.. The name change " the Villa" was a surprise..but the big surprise was that the food has improved.

This was my first time in China Villa, even though I am a local and drive past it almost every day. My dad hates the place, so whenever we would get Chinese, we would steer clear of the Villa. After all these years, the curiosity got to be too much, so I'm taking my first steps into the Villa. Without him.

The food was mediocre at best. I got one of the combination platters and an appetizer for take out. The General Gao’s chicken was not General Gao, it had some other flavoring on it. The pork fried rice was more bland than what I'm used to, but still edible. The spare ribs were decent, some bites were delicious, others quite dry. The crab rangoons were delicious, the best thing I had that night, an unexpected delight after the rest of the meal. The beef teriyaki brought tears to my eyes. Normally one of my favorite appetizers, this beef teriyaki was beyond. It was hard to bite into and physically hurt to eat. I didn't finish a whole stick. The meals were overpriced. You got a lot of food for what you're paying, but hardly any of it is quality food.

The food component was weak, but you must realize that the eating experience is judged by much more.

The restaurant was surreal. I went in there at 10:30pm on a Tuesday. I was not greeted. I walked over to the front desk and hesitantly grabbed a takeout menu, my hand less than a foot from the cashier's face buried in her phone. She did not look up. She was oblivious.
When I eat Chinese food, I always go for the combination platters, they usually give a nice variety. I decided my order quickly and went up to order. This time she looked up, startled. She took my order and brought it back to the kitchen, disappearing from view. It should be noted that I only saw two people working. One cashier/waitress and one bartender. Both old white women. It did not give off the vibe of a Chinese place. As I waited for my food I took a good look at the place. Two security cameras were watching the front desk. Directly across from the desk was a lottery ticket vending machine. On the bar side were a few washed-up looking people: big guys in Harley Davidson jackets and old white women with bleached hair and poorly done makeup. Every other seat was empty, most of the people that came here came alone. I took a peek at the restaurant side and there was nobody. Not one soul, not even a sign that someone had recently eaten there. It was untouched. It did not feel welcoming, as if there was some sort of underlying danger in this room, something that caused everyone to steer clear of it.
But that changed. A brave, or maybe naive, duo came in the restaurant, about 22 years old one of them had multiple facial piercing and a 69 tattoo behind his ear. A true character, a man that has not yet let society tame him. They both went to sit down, the waitress gave them menus and water, they looked over their options, one of them came up to the scratch ticket vending machine, bought a $1 ticket bc the machine wouldn't accept his 2nd dollar, he sat back down, a few minutes later they both left without a word. They never ordered food.
It's at this time that an old high school friend wanders in. It was a delight to see him again. We catch up as I continue to wait for my food. It's also his first time at the restaurant. He, too, is a local. Our conversation is cut short as my food finally arrives. I wish him the best of luck on his meal and I head out into the night, with a sense of nostalgia growing in my chest.

Sidenote: This food gave me diarrhea. My stomach still hurts a bit the morning after.
