This vet is very caring They don't mess around doing unnecessary things. They get right to the point and make your animal well.
Prices are not that bad depending on the severity of The problem, but I think it's awesome place to go and my animals are always treated very good, And they always get better. I bring all of my animals here. This is one of my cats. Her name is baby kitten and she ran away 7 days and got really sick, the doctor made her better in no time. And didn't hesitate to see her without an appointment once I found her.

The employees are some of the sweetest and nicest people you will ever meet. Very helpful. Great with all your pet medical needs.

Last week my oldest fur baby had to be put to sleep. Dr. Shockey and Pat are patient, kind, caring, and straight to the point. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else.

I couldn't get my dog into her local office for a week. I felt like the local office was not concerned enough. I called Town and Country and they worked my dog in the next day, not even their patient. Good thing they did, she had an infection and her thyroid levels was really low. I'm glad I didn't have to wait the week to start making her feel better. This is an awesome place. Lots of experience!

I made my appointment that morning and got an appointment for the afternoon. Didn't have a long wait and was attended to timely. I've been to a ton of vets with my cats so I'm familiar with all the local ones. The owner is older so I feel knows what he's doing. I've had some mistakes with a couple of the younger ones who are still learning. I've been dealing with cats for 30 years so I feel I know a good bit about them as well. My cat is a whole lot better now with meds. Glad for that - follow up visit soon.

I would highly recommend taking you pet to this place! My cat started spraying and I needed an appointment quick.. they had an appointment for my cat the very next day. Only 60$ which was the cheapest of all the places I called. Also the women who works at the front desk is very kind and gave me helpful advice for my kitty!

Took my boy Boss to the vet today and Dr. Shock is great. Def gonna keep him as our vet.

I took my 6 month old cat and got him fixed, his shots and and a flea pill. They were wonderful. He did great and the cost was very reasonable.

Great staff & veterinarian!!! Love that he has evening hours as well as day time hours. Plus, Dr. Shockey has his clinic in Ripley as well in case you need to be seen then & they're not in the Point Pleasant office you can go there. Dr. Shockey has vetted our dogs since I was just a kid & he's terrific with every pet I've seen him or his staff come into contact with & staff knows your pets by name & I love that cause it seems to always calm our skeptic dog down.

Absolutely love them they are always there when we need them, great with our fur babies and they care, your fur baby isn’t just another patient to them they are treated as if they are their own! You and you’re fur babies won’t regret going here ♥

Any time I call or go in, they always offer a solution to our problem. Even if you are not a regular customer they will still offer you help. Other vet in town won't. Also the vet will let you know of cheaper options if needed. I absolutely love Dr. Shockey. He knows his stuff. Highly recommend him.
