Gandalf's Pub & Restaurant

My boyfriend flies in from LA about once a month and Gandalfs is always one of our stops. I tried to tell him how unique the menu is (especially the martinis) but he was still blown away. Both of us love the aesthetic and privacy. The food is absolutely amazing and the perfect comfort food for the colder seasons.

But the staff is what really keeps up coming back. Juliann was our most recent server and she dealt with our quirkiness and questions wonderfully.

We always make sure to bring cash so we can give our servers a good tip in appreciation.

Awesome food, friendly people. You must have their Shepherd's pie! It is wonderful. The menu is labeled clearly if an option has gluten, dairy, etc., making it a safe place to dine if you have food allergies.

First time here with a party of 8 people (Sunday Brunch). The place is super cute and inviting. Our server Julie was awesome!!
Food was wonderful and the mimosa flights were very yummy.

Been eating here for a while. The food is great! I’d highly recommend trying their burgers. The burgers are perfectly cooked and prepared and the fries are seasoned to perfection. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Our server Heather was friendly & made several recommendations. Everything was wonderful. Definitely will visit again.

We went for dinner last night, we were seated right away and our waitresses from the bar were very accommodating and fun. We had some drinks, fried pickles which were good. I had a pub burger with fries and my husband had cornéd beef with chips and everything was really good. Had fun.

Fantastic food and wonderful staff. They were very busy when we arrived for a night of live music. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was above and beyond. Thank you Kelsey! The food was superb. Definitely get the pretzels! The pierogies were different and delicious. Stroganoff had great flavor and pasta was not overdone. Needed salt for my personal taste ;) Highly recommend! It is worth the trip to this adorable town.

Traditional Irish food with a lot of American classics on their menu. The food was great, had the corned beef boxty. Staff was very friendly and they have outside seating.

Not just your average pub.Very impressed. Would 10/10 recommend. Friendly staff , clean restrooms and surprisingly delicious food.

I go to visit Gandalf's every time I visit my partner in Brunswick, and it is OUR FAVORITE! We love the shepherd's pie, along with the great drinks and other food options. I tend to order way more food than I can finish, but it's SO worth tasting a little bit of each plate! ;)

The food was good and the service was great! The Bavarian pretzels were excellent!

The maple cinnamon Manhattan was the best drink I have EVER had, Julie, s own creation, each flavor complimented the other. Really good,!

Me and a group up friends when there for lunch. We didn't know what to say expect. The place is called Gandulf's, it a Lord of the Ring ngs themes join or a dive bar that served frozen burger and fries.
We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in, no Hobbits, no dwarves.
The food was incredible. You will love the Irish Nachos.
You will also love Chelsea (waitress/bard tender). She was fun and witty and played along with our jokes.
I would totally go back again, but probably not with the guys I went with, the place was too nice for them.

There is the life you lived before eating at Gandalfs Pub... And the new live your experiencing after eating here. It's literally life altering flavors here. Great food, great staff, completely fair pricing nothing is outrageous here except the flavor and atmosphere. The patio is great during the warm months. I do my best to visit Gandalfs at least once a month.

What else can be said about this place that hasn’t been said before. The food, drinks and service is outstanding, there’s an outdoor patio, and they have live music on the weekends. Gandalf’s is the perfect pub.

You won't leave hungry from Gandalf's. Plenty of traditional yet reimagined comfort foods that evoke memories of home and satisfy the hungriest of appetites. Had a bit of a mishap with one of the members of our party and their main dish had not been put into the system by the server mistakenly at the time our food was. This was rectified as soon as could be with many apologies. We were sitting on the patio with live music, so I'm sure it was because the poor girl could probably not hear us very well.

Make sure you leave room for dessert!! Their berries foster is wonderful and big enough for two to share. Brown butter cake is also excellent and addictive. Will be having that next time!

All the meals were delicious and a wonderful evening was had by all despite the hiccup.

This was my second time at Gandalf's and we love it. The food, atmosphere and service was great!! The hostess Terri was absolutely wonderful. She helped us find a perfect table so that my friend and I could catch up. She checked on us throughout the evening. Terri is one of a kind and one of the best hostess' ever!!

Delicious corned beef (and burger with corned beef). It did take a bit for the food to arrive, but it was busy and we were enjoaying atmosphere on the patio with live music, so it wasn't a big deal.
