Lobster Claw

I have driven past this seafood shack countless times but never had the time to pop in. After having been in the UK for the past month, curiosity for the best of me and I was in the mood for comparison. Met the best of Scotland. Haddock, scallops, lobster rolls and snow crab rolls were exceptional as were the crispy fries w Malt on offer. Only things missing were curry sauce and Irn BRU to make it feel like a UK chippie.

A really great local place to get some amazing seafood. Everyone working here was super friendly, and they even gave us a free extra order of clams that they had which were the best part of the whole meal. The prices aren’t cheap but feel fair, definitely stop by if you’re in reading as it’s definitely the best seafood in the area with a small town vibe!

This is a great depiction of a seafood restaurant in New England. They have a great menu with many local’s favorites and their lobster roll is fresh and loaded.

Wow! What an experience this was. I had three fish and chips, fresh cut onion rings and a cup of the homemade clam chowder.
I'm in town for the weekend and wanted a local seafood experience and I definitely received that. It was delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for that local flavor option. There's no doubt in my mind why they've been in business over 40 years.

A hidden gem when it comes to good seafood. Honestly always saw this place but never stopped by. So glad I finally did. One of the best lobster rolls I've had in a long time. They don't skip on the portions either. Old school vibe inside with some modern touches. Definitely recommend if you're craving some seafood 😋

Great local seafood restaurant, good quality, fair price, crowded during lunch hour. I had the snow crab roll combo. The crab meat tastes pretty fresh.

Really friendly owners. Solid dishes all freshly fried and prepared. Homemade coleslaw and sauces also delectable. Definitely recommend!

Visiting from the midwest and had a craving for real seafood! So happy we found this place and it finally satisfied my seafood cravings! We ordered a lobster roll, chowder, clam strips, and haddock. Our food came out quickly and hot! We will definitely be back!

I asked for a recommendation at the counter for a gluten free lobster and side lunch given that I have Celiac disease, and they made a fresh lobster salad with homemade coleslaw.

Both were delicious. The lobster had plenty of large claw chunks, lightly dressed in Mayo and white pepper. The slaw was refreshingly bright and tangy, very fresh. I highly recommend!

I wanted to try this place for a while and glad I did. Tried the haddock shrimp combo plate. It was fresh and delicious. If you live nearby or happen to be in the area, it's definitely worth trying. Highly recommended.

Excellent seafood place. My go to is twin lobster rolls, coconut shrimp and fisherman’s platters. Their cole slaw is really good too. They close early, is the only downside and they get very busy at dinnertime on the weekends. A bit pricey but well worth it!!

Looking for some quick unpretentious seafood while passing through. After reading the reviews, my husband and I both opted for the scallop and clam platter. We should have shared- definitely a lot of food, we struggled but managed to not leave any scallop nor clam behind! 😆
Will definitely will come back! Just the perfect type of off the beaten path, little joint everyone wants to find.

I usually go to Ipswich for seafood or Gloucester but the places are getting expensive and food quality are getting worse at North Shore. I’m glad I found this place! It’s only a 15min drive and little less expensive and my seafood platter was delicious! Was gonna take a picture but I was too hangry and started digging.

Tasty food, well prepared.
The place is immaculate. 47 yrs in business and it looks fantastic. They really care. No dust any where. Ceiling tiles were white and looked great. Counters & tables were well kept.
We split a scallop and clam plate, added o- rings and a side of slaw. So good. Crisp and cooked perfectly.

Best clam bellies and scallops we’ve ever had! You see the team prepare them right in front of you. Scallops were perfectly cooked, tender, great flavor… clam bellies were exceptional.

It's a very peaceful environment. I really enjoyed the experience. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant offers plenty of parking space. The salmon was delicious.

Impeccable in every way. We got the haddock sandwich with fries and coleslaw. Amazing, amazing! This place is a must-visit if you’re in the area.

You place your order before grabbing a table while you wait for you order to come up. There are no servers so it's very quick and efficient dinning experience.

My very first "Lobstah" roll and it was awesome. We also tried the "trio" combo clams, shrimp, and scallops. Everything was so perfectly fried and lightly battered my wife and I likened it to the texture of tempura. Very tasty meal
