Walt's Roast Beef

Clean comfortable restaurant. Plenty of free parking . Friendly helpful staff. The rare roast beef sandwich is my favorite. Once in a while I’ll mix it up with a Yukon specialty sandwich. Great thick cut fries with malt vinegar is my jam. Salads are good too if you need to get some veggies in your diet. Highly recommend dropping by or grab and go in the drive through

Always amazing roast beef sandwiches! So tender and juicy and like a true ROAST, not deli processed meat like Arbys.

Service allways fantastic inside or drive thru cants say enough good things. Food always spot on.

Best Roast beef sandwiches of all time. Always consistent. If you like Roast beef sandwiches go to Walt's. You won't be sorry. They got great turkey deluxe sandwiches also. I highly recommend Walt's Roast.

Love Walts! Most recent visit, the roast beef was not as rare as it usually is but still good!

The heat was broken. The lights were off in the bathroom. The Lobby had a broken lottery machine.

So why the 5 stars if I'm starting off the review so negative?

It's to illustrate that none of that matters. The staff is nice as hell, and the food SLAPS. That's all that matters to me.

This review is based on taste and quality. Went to Walt’s for the first time in maybe a decade. Still delicious 😋 like when I first had them 20 years ago, but man then prices tho… I paid like $14 for a meal I used to pay $7.50 on 😳. Not their fault as everything generally in the world has gone up due to COVID. Didn’t expect the price hike to be that significant, otherwise I would be more frequently going there since back after 7+ years.

Walt's roast beef is delicious! The service was great to we had the sweetest lady and she was very kind to us. The food is delicious overall it was amazing!

A simple roast beef sandwich on a buttery soft grilled bun...so delicious...the best in RI...the cashier on Wednesday afternoon was so sweet! My relatives that live down south in Louisiana miss Walt's and cry when I tell them I ate there.

Food was perfect, kids were confusing making their order, but the cashier was very patient. It was slow when we were there so we didn't have to behave 🤪

Great food can order line. The service is a little under expectations but its a fast food place so what do you expect? They foood is better than some local fast food places. They have the best fries pulled pork chicken tenders and the best fish and chips in rhode island.

WOW!!! Loved the roast beef sandwich. Slice of cheese was thick...watch out the pepper jack is hot! First time, definitely coming back. So good! Staff was pleasant and they practiced COVID-19 precautions.

I go there at least once a week the food is great it's low in calories.

Excellent! We had deluxe roast beef sandwich and pastrami sandwich, both were fresh and delicious, same for the hot, fresh fries. Highly recommend!

I love walts roast beef! when i was living out of state walts was the first place I went for food on trips home. I tried arbys because they said they had the meats but I have no idea what they were doing with said meats as they were nowhere to be found in the wet particle board on a roll I got. Walts is the last bastion of genuine meat on a bun I have experienced. The buns at walts are soft and buttery on top and crisp beside the soft meat.

Walt's is a RI institution. It has great Roast Beef sandwiches and they are so much better than hamburgers at the national fast food chains.
