Bollywood Biryani

Do not overlook this restaurant. I’ve driven past this restaurant many times and never looked twice. And now I feel like I have missed out. This is the best Indian restaurant in the area. If you’ve never had Indian food or think you may not like it try it anyway and order naan bread and tandoori chicken. Nothing not to like. The food is authentic and delicious. I ordered a lamb appetizer and the Tandoori Chicken which were both amazing.
Indian cuisine is also the single best for vegetarian and vegan dishes if that’s your thing.
Next time I go I will order on of their eponymous Biryani dishes as they look amazing.
Now many restaurants can accomplish everything I’ve stated up to now, even though many fail at even that, but the reason I will return here is because of the friendly service I received. This is a real local restaurant with regular clients. That was evident from my first visit. I was taken care of as if I was eating at a friends house.

Never have had a disappointment at this restaurant, both food and service. Everyone is so helpful, and if you’ve never had Indian food before they’re so helpful in explaining each meal, and give great suggestions if you’re a first timer not knowing what to order. This is by far the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. I definitely suggest starting with the Chicken 65 appetizer or the Chile chicken appetizer. Those are two of my favorites. I love the chicken and lamb tikka masala as well as the butter chicken. What’s amazing is they also have vegetarian appetizers and entrees to accommodate all customers! Enjoy!

Delicious Indian food without any frills but all of the taste thrills! I ordered takeout ahead on a week night evening, took about 30 minutes from call to pickup. The buttered chicken and chicken tikka masala were both AMAZING! Will definitely be coming back. Great staff as well!

Went there for lunch and have to start by saying this is another one of those places where if you don't know better you might walk out. The building is old, the fixtures are original and I think the owner serves. My kind of lunch!
The guy spent time explaining the special to us, then his favorite dishes. The water is served in a cold glass bottle on the table.
The food was amazing, best Indian food I have had (limited but true) and the prices were very reasonable.

This place has the BEST indian food in all of south Florida. My husband has been a loyal customer for the past 4 years, and I've been going since we've been marries, for 2. Amazing vegan and vegetarian options that leave you fully satisfied. Their chicken tikka is to die for. The owner is so polite and nice, too, which makes it an even better experience!!

What a delightful surprise!! My husband and I listened to an audiobook book set in India on our long drive from Denver Colorado and developed an irresistible urge for some good Indian food. We went to Ballywood Biryani at the recommendation of our cousin and were rewarded with a delicious meal and delightful company. The owner greeted us pleasantly and cared for us during our meal. We ordered a couple of our standard favorite dishes, chicken Tikka Masala and chicken Korma and I can honestly say they were the most delicious we have had in a long time. The curries were a perfect blend of spices and the chicken was tender and juicy. The couple at the next table seemed very familiar with the restaurant and the menu. They ordered the Mango Chicken Curry and raved about it. They actually let us try a bite and we were sold. By the time we left the restaurant we felt like family. We went back a few days later for a takeout meal and ordered the Mango Chicken. This restaurant will now be on our regular rotation for both dining in and take out. If you like authentic Indian food this place is a rare treasure.

Excellent food! Had the Chef Special Goat Masala and garlic naan. The service was great and the dish was very unique and very flavorful. Hands down one of my favorite Indian Restaurants in South Florida.

If you want Indian in Broward County this is it. The food is amazing. Better than any other restaurant in the county. The owner is always around and is extremely friendly. If your looking for great food at a great price this is it. The butter chicken is amazing. Mmmmmmm

I have been searching for an authentic place to eat indian, specifically chicken tikka masala that is spicy and flavorful and have came across a few places that are average at best until I ran into this family owned restaurant and am really glad I did find them, as the food was amazing, and the experience was authentic. Going to bring some friends here next time, and I bet they will agree its worth the 25 min drive for the taste because there aren’t that many places that can provide you with this level of authenticity, thanks again.

Tiny restaurant tucked away in a suburban strip mall is a gem, truly authentic south Indian food. Best biriyani you will ever taste. Unless you are VERY used to Indian cuisine, stick to mild spice, they don't mess around!

Unbelievable Indian food! We got the gobi Manchurian, chicken tikka masala and chicken korma with garlic naan. Such rich depth of flavors and spices. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Probably one of the best places for authentic Indian in Fort Lauderdale.

Wow the butter chicken it is amazing! You have to try it to experience the flavor of this amazing Indian Restaurant. The prices are extremely fair and the owner is a kindhearted individual! It’s truly a rare Gem .. I love this place!

The sauce textures are different than what I have been used to, but this is the best Indian food I have ever tasted. The sauces are not heavy, just flavorful. And the meat just melts. Delicious!

I just learned of this place today, and I went there twice, lol. The food was awsome and full of flavor. The family who owns it was very warm and welcoming. My wife and I both loved it. We will be back again.....soon. Thank you Bollywood Biryani.

Food is the best Indian food in the area. Wish the location was a little more inviting. We order to go every month or two and the whole family likes it.

Love spicy food and usually restaurants are never spicy enough but the food here had a great spicy flavor! Good service and fair prices too. We will return for awesome Indian food!

Had their biriyani and full fish (Kerala style) along with some chai. Being from Kerala, I gotta say that their food was really well made. Didn't care too much for the chai, but otherwise the Biriyani and the fish turned out great. Certainly a nice hidden gem
