Foothills Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine

This facility is so awesome. I love all the staff members, especially the front desk lady, Jennifer. She went out of her way to change my appointments to accommodate my schedule, her patience & friendliness was so appreciated. I also want to thank my favorite therapist Payton. She's very knowledgable, spending lots of time with me, always smile with a cheerful attitude. Daniel is awesome as well. In other word, the whole team is amazing. I'll miss them.

I recently completed 13 sessions of physical therapy at Foothills Sports Medicine P.T. at Elliot & Kyrene in South Tempe. Damian was my Physical Therapist and Bianca was his assistant.

I could not be more pleased with the results. I went in for hip and leg pain (sciatica I thought) but Damian's evaluation on the first visit indicated that the problem was in my back. After my first 3 visits, I felt 75% better. On succeeding sessions, more targeted exercises were added to my routine and Bianca, with caring and a sense of humor, ensured I did them correctly and got in plenty of reps. I was feeling better than I had felt for months.

The entire staff at Foothills was friendly, easy to deal with, and seemed to be genuinely concerned about the outcome of every patient they were treating.

From the second I stepped foot into this location I was treated with the best attention and care. From Jessica and the ladies at the desk to Damian and the many technicians, everyone made an effort to help my experience be as positive as it could while in the healing and strengthening process. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone with issues that can be treated by physical therapy. My quality of life is higher than its been in months, and they've given me the tools to keep improving. Thanks to the team!

Everyone here is really great. The therapists are very knowledgeable. The front desk ladies are really awesome! They really keep things moving.

The staff has been exceptional. Their professionalism, their thoughtfulness also their eagerness to assist in getting me back to a place where I can participate more comfortably doing activities with less pain, I look forward to each session. Yes! I have to do the work in order to get there and with skills, knowledge plus the directives from the therapists, I know that it is possible.

I found The Foothills Physical Therapy owner, Carlos and his entire staff to be exceptional. They are professional, friendly and caring. Athenia and Jennifer were always cheerful and welcomed me with a smile. I had the privilege of working with physical therapist Damian Chouteau who is an expert in his field and always tweaked my exercise program in such a way that would ensure a safe yet fast recovery. Both Damian and his assistant, Caleb made it fun to come to physical therapy. I am happy to be well again but really miss Damian and the whole team there!

Found Foothills as one of my recommended providers after my leg surgery. During my assessment they requested info from my doctor and listened to me about my goals.

They were great at having exercises to improve my flexibility, mobility and strength. They did periodic assessments to check my progress and adjusted the exercises to meet my goals.

Glad to report that after working with them I’m healthy and enjoying my motorcycles and gym again.

In March I had surgery on my left knee which required me to go to physical therapy three times a week. My journey to find Peyton was not easy; I had a couple of physical therapists before her that almost made me want to give up. However, Peyton is an incredible physical therapist, who is focused on working with her patients and making sure they reach her goals. Jordan is Peyton’s right hand and they make an excellent team. Thank you both!

I broke my femur pretty bad at the end of February, spent a couple of months in in-patient treatment/therapy. While I was in there someone recommended foothills. When I switch to in home rehab my therapist also recommended I go here. Luckily it is about half a mile from my house. Bianca and her team have been more than amazing and I really have seen a world of improvement since I started. From being stuck in a wheelchair to walking without assistance in a relatively short amount of time is amazing, I couldn't have done it without the team, especially Bianca. I also wanted to give a huge thanks to Jennifer at the front desk for constantly dealing with my insurance issues at the start, and handling my pain in the *** schedule changes.

I started coming to foothills for an ankle sprain and knee issues. I have had nothing but first class treatment from the entire team here. Between Daniel, Carlos, Damien, Peyton, Jordan and the rest of the team, they always take time to make sure you are making progress and working with you. Athens and Jennifer also go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and take care of all of your scheduling and billing questions. I would highly recommend coming to this location for any physical therapy needs.

I have been attending this location for about two years. The therapist at this location are the best. I highly recommend Carlos & Bianca for all your rehabilitation needs. From the front office to the techs and all the therapists you will be treated with the best care possible. I will continue to use this Foothills location for all my rehabilitation needs.

I had such an amazing experience with Peyton as my therapist! She got me back to doing all the things I love and my pain is completely gone. All the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout my treatment. I would definitely recommend Foothills Tempe!

I've been doing PT for ACL reconstruction here for about 2 months with Peyton and Jordan and its amazing! I was at another place for a month before and it can't compare to the customer service and the equipment that Foothills Sports Med has!! Thanks to Peyton and Jordan for helping me so much on my healing journey!

Best spot for physical therapy in Tempe. Very nice people, great equipment, motivating environment (especially with the music). Anyone who wants to get back to a healthy lifestyle while having fun should go here. Shout out to Damian, my physical therapist who guided me through the rehabilitation of my broken ankle.

The whole team at Foothill in Tempe are so caring, thoughtful, fun, and positive. I am so proud to see how far I have come since breaking my ankle. This location is truly full of the best people who genuinely care about your recovery. I love all the therapist here, but Bianca has been the most amazing for my recovery. She has pushed me in the best ways and has allowed me to take pride in my recovery. She continues to challenge me every time I come in while always reading and caring how I am feeling in the moment. I will always recommend Foothill to anyone that needs PT because y'all have really changed my life :)

I've been going to Foothills for several months after a crucial ACL & meniscus injury. Feeling hopeless and unable to walk for 4 months, Carlos's team has worked with me to get me back on my feet again. Bianca and Leah put a lot of work into my program and push me to achieve my goals every session. They truly have a passion for what they do. Now, I am walking all over the place without pain! Soon to be running & jumping. Hard work and dedication pay off. So glad I chose Foothills.

Unfortunately, I have gone to this place on many occasions, however, it was because of their extremely nice staff and amazing physical therapy techniques that I kept coming back. Damien is especially pleasant as he has helped tremendously with my recovery and frankly is the most handsome physical therapist that has ever helped me out!

Peyton is absolutely the best! This is my 4th experience with a physical therapy facility, this time related to a pinched nerve and lower spine degeneration. After three sessions, there was a significant difference. I have never had a therapist be so knowledgeable. Her ability to workout pressure points around the pulled muscle is something I had never even heard of. I am choosing to continue weekly to improve further and to ensure I maintain the improvement. Also Ari has been fantastic to work with. She knows what she is doing; she's friendly, attentive, and kind. She keeps me motivated and makes sure I am on-track with technique, adjusting items as needed.

I had an issue with my IT band and Damien has been able to rehab my leg and hip to reduce the pain dramatically in a short amount of time. In addition, I am regaining strength and have some exercises that will help me going forward. Thank you Damien, Caleb and others who have assisted along the way!
