2nd Street Café Express

The manager of the cafe and bakery was outstanding! I ordered a 5 layer cake for my sons 21st birthday and it turned out incredible! I could not have been more pleased. I would highly recommend them.

Ordered a few different dessert items and water. Pretty moronic you can not take these desserts into the pool. Didn't order from this place again because of that. Desserts themselves are good.

Great service, the cashier was extremely polite, and pleasant. The pizza was good and chocolate mousecake dessert was great!

The food was amazing the wait was pritty quick whoever there cook is he needs a raise and I had an outstanding time at this place

2nd Street has the best beagles and cream cheese in Reno. And this is coming from someone who has eaten beagles from mt favorite muffin, Rounds bakery, and Einstein.

Delicious desserts and Snacks!

If you’re in town, at the GSR for work - I recommend keeping this place in mind! It’s especially helpful to have somewhere open 24hrs when you have early call times and nothing else is open… or if you work really late haha. Be aware, I’m pretty sure the use chef mike for a lot of things here (microwave).

I tried:

-Sausage bagel: the sausage was very small, and very hard lol - probably overcooked…
-Philly cheese steak: 9/10 honestly haha, very good
-Chorizo burrito: pretty good, I’m from Phoenix so I have pretty high burrito standards… I would buy this again, but more out of necessity than anything ha!

The staff is always super helpful, and the prices, although still high, are better than anywhere else in the resort!

Only had a slice of pizza $4.06. Kind of work the price. Big slice and tasty.

I got a salad from here, the Caesar salad and it was disappointing to see that there was no buttery croutons as it says in the front and the dressing was pretty much gone. It looked like someone had grabbed the croutons and dressing & left pretty much just the lettuce and chicken. It was disappointing not to be able to eat the salad I paid for since there was no dressing or croutons. I feel like never coming to this place again I don’t recommend getting a salad from here. Always check your salads to make sure it has everything that says on the top of the package or just don’t get one at all. I remember it was the last Caesar salad so I didn’t mind to check because I thought it looked fine but that was upsetting. I thought I got lucky getting the last Caesar salad but I should have just not gotten it if I knew it had missing things to complete the salad. Waste of money. Also make sure your bagel is toasted because if it isn’t it will be hard as a rock and difficult to eat . Would not recommend this place to anyone. Got my bagel 11/30/2020

Absolutely disgusting saw someone confront staff about cocroaches and they turned back on the stoves and didn't do anything about it !! I waited and continued to see roaches . Extremely foul !

In line for 45 min just to buy a cup of fruit on Friday July 7 2017 only 1 register open and the line was long.... until another customer complained 2 more registers opened.. I don't know why it had to come to that!!! The women said they were under staffed... this expierence was totally uncalled for please work this out, there was no reason why it had to take that long for some fruit....

If you want to pay $8 for store bought bagels with microwaved egg and bacon then go ahead. Eat here.
