Wonderful place! Great pricing! Cash only with an ATM inside! So much to see inside. Food was amazing, but I got side tracked with everything inside I forgot to take any of the food. Staff is amazing. 21 or older!

Had to come check out this place. It’s amazing. Very small menu but the burgers were excellent and service was great. Inside is a real gem. Great place for grab drinks. No TVs Not a sports bar.

If you dig the vibe of a true Wild West original saloon, don’t miss the Shooting Star! We had burgers and beers there and enjoyed the folklore shared by staff! The pioneers of Huntsville must be proud of this legendary town!

Such a fun place with a lot of history. Though the menu is small, the burgers are AMAZING, the service was excellent, and the ambiance has to be experienced! Highly recommend!

Small town Shooting Star Bar. They have beer, soda, and some seltzers. Food is burgers and burgers. Great food, nice folks, lots to look at inside such a small space. Would definitely like to come back here!

Fantastic burger with a bratwurst on it. Sounds strange, but it is juicy and delicious. Amazing waitresses that are kind of brash but honest. Be sure to leave a decent tip and the waitresses will really take care of you. Atmosphere is awesome with pool table And you need animals mounted on the wall. Highly recommended.

Me , my Wife and Son had one of the best burgers of our lives. The customerservice was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was priceless. We will definitely return to the Shooting for some excellent food and customer service and atmosphere.

If you’re a not so fancy kind of person, looking for just a local hang out this place is for you. The burgers are amazing (only thing on the menu), the staff is so friendly and accommodating.
The atmosphere is a bit crazy but that’s what makes it what it is. I’ll be back when I’m in town.

What a historical food find, they have a limited hamburger menu only, However, that was such an amazing bacon cheeseburger.
The customer service was spot on, the server was fun and gave us a the low down on the history of the saloon. I would totally recommend stopping in, it's a fun environment.
Definitely stopping by when I visit Huntsville again.

We have been coming to this icon of a bar for a long time and it remains unchanged with cheap drafts, good burgers and absolute authenticity. What IS new are crowds likely due to write-ups everywhere (like this one!). We were there on a Monday and were lucky to find seating.

Manage your expectations. No custom orders are permitted and, really, it’s burgers, dogs and cash only. You’ve been warned.

If you’re looking for a quaint old bar feel with tons of history, this is the place. The amount of history in this establishment is mind blowing. The food is simple and delicious. I recommend the star burger. They don’t serve fries, but you do get a bag of Lays potato chips. The beer is cold with a decent selection. They even sell Vizzy, for those that like seltzer style drinks. It’s cash only, so be prepared, but if you aren’t, there is a ATM available. The servers/bar tenders are super cool and have some great stories about the bar. It’s a place to experience, even if it’s just the ambiance of crazy decorations and $20k of dollar bills stapled to the ceiling. All with a story. Also, don’t forget to play a few songs from the juke box.

This was a great stop to eat after a few hours on causey reservoir.

Fun to hear our waitress explain the history and story behind the saloon and she was fun to chat with and answer all our questions about the place.

The food was pretty typical, we just had hamburgers and they filled the hole.

Leslie (Sorry if I spell it wrong!) was the absolute star of the night and the reason that if I am ever visiting Utah again, I make sure to stop here to see her. Was so nice to have such great service and be able to talk about how truly terrible patrons can be, bartender to bartender! Food was great, everything was very cheaply priced as to anywhere else in the U.S. right now, and service was great! Thank you for making our date night so wonderful!

I was a little surprised that there weren’t more restaurants available in this area. We couldn’t take our teenager in here so we ordered out. WOW! Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had! We ordered a cheeseburger, star dog and a mini star burger. Excellent! My only advise, is make sure they tell you that they only accept cash!

Not a large choice of menu items but the burgers were very good. Loved the atmosphere and the saloon mascot that the taxidermist helped live on.

I heard this place was good but even still I was impressed. The Star burger is a must have. It’s better than any of the fancy restaurant burgers in town and so reasonably priced. Beer is great too. It’s cash only, but as long as you know that it’s no issues. Everyone was very friendly.

Amazing, the shooting star saloon is one of the best kept secrets in Utah. There are only burgers and dogs which is really all you need anyway. This is the oldest running saloon west of the Mississippi and it’s existed in the driest states in the nation. I think it’s stayed in business by embodying the town it resides in.

This is a fun place to come from town and enjoy the peaceful existence. Order the star burger and enjoy this piece of Americana with some chips. The outside seating is amazingly quiet and the rustic feeling is all it's own.
