Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Afton Star Valley

First time visit, I was extremely impressed. The hotel feels very clean and modern, especially for being situated in such a small town.

The staff here were also extremely friendly and helpful at check in and they even hooked us up with a larger room at the regular rate because of our group size.

Location is great if you want to go ski Jackson without having to break the bank.

Highly recommend if you need somewhere to stay and you are passing through!

This is your best bet for the most comfortable, modern, and overall best hotel in the surrounding area.

Office Staff was very friendly and efficient during check in.

We chose the hotel as somewhere to stay overnight while traveling south from the Grand Tetons in preference to paying exorbitant prices in Jackson. So happy we did. this place is a gem. Everything here is new and very clean. We had a small but very comfortable room, with a microwave, refrigerator, desk & TV. A very comfortable king-size bed. The great shower was huge with large supply of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The Inside pool & spa are small but perfectly warm and clean.
The breakfast was good but sadly as with most hotels the eggs served were not fresh made.

The staff here is very nice and friendly! The rooms are very clean and we have a great view. The continental breakfast is the best I’ve ever seen! Pics are after we ate some. The hot tub and pool are incredible!

We have friends we usually stay with while in Afton, Wy, but they were not available on this trip. So we were forced to stay here. This hotel is not a 5-star resort, however the staff, the calm and quiet, the setting, and the cleanliness made it seem like a 5-star in all but decoration. Cudo's to the management and ALL the staff. We might stay here a lot when in Afton, even when our friends are available!

Great staff comfy beds and amazing breakfast with good quality. Simply best bang for your buck in the area

Room was clean and bathroom was large and had ample counter space! Hotel was quiet and no other guests could be heard. Breakfast was standard fare with some upgrades - Chobani yogurt for example. They kept the breakfast area very clean and refilled empties quickly.

We had a large group, and every one was very accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, I was surprised with our large that no one had to wait for their food. She worked hard and fast to keep everything filled. GREAT JOB! Thank you🤗

Came to find the Marriott by chance. My buddy and I are on a long distance motorcycle trip when we rode through Afton Wyoming as the sun was starting to set….. we needed a place to stay and there were no rooms available in town anywhere other than the Marriott. As we walked through the doors we were welcome by Lindsley. What a breath of fresh air. She welcomed us like we were old friends, found a great room for us and even suggested places in town to eat. Come to find out Lindsley had just started working at the Marriott and was left alone with minimal training. What a champ! I typically don’t leave reviews but I’m this case someone needs know what a jewel they have found in this employee. Thanks for the great service and making us feel like family. Love this place.

We stayed here during the Christmas season and when we walked into the lobby for the first time, it felt very cozy and inviting with the Christmas tree and other decor! I knew it would be a nice place to stay for our trip. It was very clean. I also immediately saw the fire pit ablaze outside. So nice!! The rooms were great. Nice and roomy for the 5 of us. There is a nice big bathroom as well. There was a small refrigerator, small microwave. The TV didn't work at first because a cable had been knocked out. The front desk said it was a common problem from when the maids clean. I found the HDMI cable and re-attached it. The swimming pool was great. Too cold for me but my kids loved it. The hot tub seemed hotter than others. But we still enjoyed it with frequent breaks. It would have been VERY helpful to have a clock in that room. There was none. It's hard when your wet to pull out a cell phone and/or keep it too close to the water. But the pool and spa were in working order which was a relief from our last hotel experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was great. I loved that the waffle maker made 4 small circle waffles at a time instead of 1 huge one. That helps when you have kids. Plus even for an adult, those huge thick waffles are sometimes overkill. They didn't rush out right at the very minute that breakfast is over, and start cleaning up (had that experience recently too -- simply needed another napkin at the end of our meal with kids but they had already taken them away). We were able to park close to the entrance, which is important to me. Overall we had a great stay!!

Exceptional Hotel. The hotel is relative new and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay again at this hotel if in the area.

I give this Hotel 10 stars simply for employing a Breakfast lady named Cindy Martinsen. I was STRANDED in Wyoming and CINDY and HER Husband created a support system for me during my hours of isolation. Thank God for humanity and Breakfast ladies like Ms. CINDY.

We stayed here for one night. The location is a little off of the main street, which helps reduce traffic sounds. They had plenty of prepackaged breakfast items as well as hot food and waffles. We didn’t use any amenities, but they seemed nice and standard for a Fairfield Inn. Pleasant stay in a cute town!

Had an excellent stay. The staff is excellent and very helpful with local suggestions/recommendations. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is available (eggs, meats, waffles, fruit, various breads, yogurt and cereal as well as juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. They offer iced water flavored with lime and cucumber all day. Just a few blocks from the elk horn arch and across the street from the airplane museum.
Took a picture from our hotel room of the beautiful sunset. There is a beautiful rushing river right behind the hotel so if you open your window at night you can hear it. They have outdoor seating out back as well. Plenty of parking.
