Went for breakfast. Great food, huge portions, varied menu, awesome friendly service, cozy environment, low prices- three huge meals for $25! Can't wait to check it out for lunch or dinner.

The Eric brisket sandwich was great. Service was down to earth, friendly country folk.

Our steak was perfect, and the staff was amazing! Thanks for a great dinner!

We are here cleaning out house out for sale...and we’ve moved almost everything. Saying that, we’ve had to dine out for every meal. Heggs has been our go-to place to eat. Love the breakfasts...generous portions, and the hash browns are wonderful. We haven’t had a meal that we haven’t liked! The service is good, smiles everywhere and always a welcome when we arrive and they always invite us back. My only problem is that they are currently closed on Wednesday...leaving us to forage at the store or find another restaurant. But as busy as they are, I guess they deserve a day off. Try the chili...I think it’s great!! Thank you Heggs for being so nice.

We stopped in while heading out of town. I got the 8oz ham breakfast with a chocolate chip pancake. My boyfriend got am everything skillet. 👌👌 It was incredible. The breakfast potatoes were cooked perfectly, the ham was thick and tasty, and the pancake was large and fluffy and the greatest pancake I have ever had. His skillet was a perfect mix of eggs and veggies and meat. Most of the time you see a lot more eggs than meat in skillets but not this one he had lots of ham, bacon, and sausage in every bite and he said the onions were grilled perfectly. I don't come out this way practically ever but if I ever do I will come here. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. Cooks for our food our quick. I was amazed with how good everything tasted with his speedy the service was. You usually don't get that. But I was pleased with everything about this place. You are doing a great job!

A small unassuming restaurant with fantastic food. At most places, an all you can eat fish fry Friday is a taunt that usually ends in disappointment. I couldn't be happier with what I got here. The sides were plentiful (coleslaw, baked beans, crosscut fries, and hot roles) and always kept full, and the cod was big chunks of perfectly cooked deliciousness. To top it off the staff was friendly and attentive. I will be returning guaranteed.

Heggs Grill is a great and homey feeling diner. The employees and other patrons were all very friendly and welcoming. We had breakfast there and it was great! I would highly recommend Heggs Grill to anyone passing through Afton.

I have been going to Heggs for quite some time now. All of their food is quite delicious. BUT my husband and I are partial to their fish fry. I tell y'all there is nothing like it. It melts in your mouth and you just know it was just made. Not once have we had bad service. Everyone is really friendly.

We have eaten at Hegg's for breakfast multiple times now. It is hands-down the best breakfast place that we've had in Star Valley. The restaurant is clean, with a cute country/Western feel. Beautiful pictures of local scenery decorate the walls, and they are all available for purchase.

The service for breakfast has always been fast and friendly. On Saturdays they can be a little busy, but with a little patience they will get you sat right away, and eating food before you know it.

The food....soooo good! I am not normally a breakfast gal, but their country skillet is where it's at! A generous portion of country potatoes, chicken fried steak, and eggs, smothered in country gravy. Hubby and I tend to split the skillet because it is almost too much for one person to eat alone, unless you have a very hearty appetite.

Another stand out on the menu is the stuffed strawberry cream cheese french toast with whipped cream. So decadent and just the right amount of sweet. Definitely enough food for one person to have as their meal.

Lastly my daughter ordered the number 3 which was one huge pancake, one egg, and two links of sausage or bacon, she chose sausage. The pancake was a soft fluffy texture, and the one pancake took up the entire plate. The egg was cooked perfectly, and the sausage were very large, not the tiny dinky sausage you get from farmer John's at the grocery store.

Everything start to finish was wonderful, and the prices were reasonable, especially for the portions you receive. Now we have only been for breakfast, so we can comment on how their lunches, or dinners are, but their breakfast cannot be beat in Star Valley.

Had breakfast and dinner there. Good service and good food. If I'm ever back through here will eat there again.

This place was delicious. I am sad that I do not live closer in order to be able to go more often. If you are driving though this area, on your way to Yellowstone, the Tetons, or Jackson hole, this is a good place to have a good meal. Huge portions, and the price is reasonable.

This is where breakfast dreams come true! My mouth waters just thinking about the food. Great service, fantastic prices, and good location. We'll definitely be visiting this place when we pass by every year!

We have stopped in this place on our way from Salt Lake City to Jackson. We were starving to death and craving for a nice steak. We just found what we wanted. My friend says we prayed to God answered. This set up is a classic not so fancy set up however the food was great and the waitress was awesome. I have taken the filet mignon with mash potatoes you should try it before you die

Always eat breakfast here. Food great prices right friendly service and; n winter just about only place to eat with table service in Afton. Going south next town with anything for restaurant til Cokeville.

The food was really good and so were the bloody Mary's. I got the hollandaise omelette and it was delicious! The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Will definitely was there again when I am in town.

I go to Heggs Grill whenever I'm in the mood for a home cooked meal. Breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is great. The help is friendly and do a great job as far as service. It's a great small town restaurant.

Travelling through Afton on a motorcycle trip. Labor Day. No one open for breakfast except Heggs. Great place! Friendly, good food, fast service. Highly recommended!
