Sambuca Grille

Sambuca Grille is an excellent choice if you're hankering for a splendid Italian meal. We arrived early on a Friday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. Although the kitchen didn't open until 5 p.m., we were seated at a table and relaxed with some martinis.

The chocolate martini was decadent, with a blend of vodka, dark creme de cacao, and Bailey's Irish cream. The Perfect Sky was a refreshing mixture of raspberry vodka, peach schnapps, lime juice and a splash of ginger ale.

The pasta dish was extraordinarily delicious, featuring a braised beef ravioli drenched in a creamy champagne sauce, and lightly topped with roasted red peppers and peas.

Our servers were very pleasant, and the atmosphere was relaxed, with light music diffused throughout the dining room. Sambuca Grille is definitely an establishment to visit for a great dining experience.

Everything we had from filet, chicken to sole was extremely delicious. The waitresses and everyone made us feel like we were at home.
Piano player was outstanding.

Absolutely outstanding.

From the attentiveness of the waitstaff to dietary needs, to the food which as you can see below was outstanding, to the attention to detail of the little things (including bringing the deserts out on a tray to your table to choose from)… everything here is 5 stars.

The owners care about this place, you can tell in the way they talk to you how passionate they are about their restaurant.

Can’t wait to come back here.

Wow!!!

I've been eating penne with vodka sauce for years.
This was by far the best penne vodka I've ever had.
Pasta was cooked perfectly, vodka sauce was excellent, and the peas and prosciutto were just icing on the cake!

If I lived close to here, I would be here every night!

We walked in last Sat with no reservation. It was full. Andrea seated us at the bar. We had a full dinner and drinks and wonderful company. Everything on the menu is GREAT! Just go and have fun.

Absolutely loved this place! Everything was so good. I got the special so I don't remember what it was called but it was wonderful!! Husband got ravioli and he really liked it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back. Only draw back was only one ladies room. Make sure you get a reservation:)

Food is always fantastic! Italian with a twist of Albanian, service is top notch great drinks and a classy city atmosphere. A must try if your looking for a dining option in downtown scranton!!

This is a wonderful bar/restaurant with great drink concoctions and wonderful food offerings. Our server, Mia, was Excellent!

Went there for the first time last weekend to celebrate my son's graduation. We are so glad we picked this restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were fine dining at its best. I had the yellowtail tuna special which was served over white beans and spinach. Simply delicious. I highly recommend going here if you have the chance.

My favorite special occasion romantic restaurant! Exceptional service every time. The staff go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your meal. Don't miss out on the piano performances!

Absolutely love the food the staff is always so nice and friendly. Thellanza is the best she always makes me feel so special when I go there. The service is fabulous I highly recommend!

Super underrated. The staff was polite and did a great job of checking in. Most importantly, the food is incredible. The Pollo Arrabbiata sent me to another dimension. We also had the pistachio cake, limoncello cake and a cannolo and my Lord, forget it. Out of this world! You can’t beat the prices either. I would have paid double what the check said and not blinked an eye. This is our new favorite Italian restaurant in NEPA.

One of the best dining experiences I have had to date. Food and deserts were amazing- presentation/speed excellent. Service was superb from start to finish. Staff along with the atmosphere were very welcoming. The piano player was entertaining/fun and a nice touch to one of the most memorable birthday dinners with family in years. Stayed for drinks after in the bar to continue our celebration- Taylor makes a delicious perfect martini! Conversation in the bar with him and all the other staff was the perfect ending to a truly most enjoyable evening!! Thank you all again for a great night! Will definitely return again. A must try for all!!

We didn’t have reservations, but they sat us immediately. The food was delicious. Service was fine. No issues. I had the pollo parmigiana and it was outstanding. Also had the cheesecake for desert. Only complaint was that it was too cold and not as soft as I’d like it. Still delicious.
