Spice Asian Market

I LOVE this place. Especially after classes, coming here for snacks and drinks. Everything is amazing. Definitely take a look at their frozen section and their fresh vegetables.

(After a year+ later and I am still coming here. I Love it here and it's by far, my favorite place in the Scranton area. They have such a great variety of things and I am obsessed with their snacks and frozen selection. Not only do they have food but they also have Home-related items as well such as chopsticks and personally created art from Sue, one of the co-owners and her art is absolutely beautiful. The Spice Asian Market is the place if you're craving something new and wanting to venture out of your comfort zone or even just want to try a new kind of instant ramen. The owners are wonderful people and overall, the atmosphere, selection of items, and food is more than 10/10. Truly a treasure here in Scranton.

Finally took a trip to Scranton to check this place out and I wasn't disappointed! Awesome neighborhood market with reasonable prices. If you're into cooking and exploring new cuisine, definitely check this place out! Also lots of cool trinkets, art, and stickers for days, all really inexpensive!

Absolutely love this place! I always make sure to stock up while I’m here! They have such an amazing selection of Asian groceries and snacks. The staff is also very kind and helpful. The art for sale in here is also incredible! Lots of awesome original anime paintings!

Awesome little Asian shop with snacks, drinks, noodles, and frozen goods! Owners are kind, courtesy, and helpful! Hello kitty, Naruto, One Piece, Sailor moon, and even adorable panda strawberry oreos! Prices are cheaper then online and Owners actually know what everything is so if your unsure of a flavor or item they are a great help with selecting your next snack! FYI there is a 3% transaction fee for cards so if you can bring cash!

The owners are wonderful and kind. They are willing to help you find whatever you need and make you feel at home.

The store has an amazing selection of snacks, groceries, shirts, toys and more. I highly recommend a visit, you won't regret it!

The owner is super helpful,everything is very neat and a fun vibe. From korean corndogs, tteokbokki,novelty snacks,asian ice creams,cooking utensils. Absolutely love this shop!

I initially visited the store to pick up a painting created by one of the owners that was posted to FB. The store was impressive. I loved the mix of an art studio and Asian market. The selection of snacks and food was impressive. We ended up bringing some home with the painting. My son loved the anime/manga collectables too. They are always getting in new things to try. The prices were very reasonable. We have been back several times.

Great family run store! They have a little bit of everything as reasonable prices. I was picking out fresh veggies from the fridge and the couple running the store let me know that there were fresh ones in the back and ran to grab some for me. Very thoughtful!

Fantastic store with products not found in usual markets. Usually these items would be in larger population areas and cities, but it's so awesome to able to drive a few minutes instead of hours and fighting traffic! I highly recommend the handmade steam red bean dumplings. They have a huge variety of snacks and the owners will always recommend their favorites which helps if you don't know what these products are.

Lovely little store. I was afraid that it was for tourist shoppers at first, but that is only the display snack items at the front. The owners know better than to play to stereotypes.

The store has an abundance of daily drivers once you reach the shelves. Ingredients, food staples, frozen, canned, and dry goods. Good quality and good prices.

Lots of variety from ready to eat snacks to the traditional eldritch ingredients plucked fresh from the den of cthulu that only your Japanese grandmother knows about. If you are a chef looking for the authentic ingredients, this place has them. If you are like me and just looking for something that is economical and easy to prepare and is made of real food, this is also the right place. If you are looking for something fun with Pikachu on it, they have that straight from Tokyo.

They have soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies on the back shelves. Just in case you need it and need it now... like me sometimes.

The best place to source any Asian cooking needs in the Scranton area, even Galalnga! Plus the owners are always so nice and friendly that it's a pleasure shopping there, and a great way to shop local.

Gem of a find! Love this place. From Kimchi to duck flavored tofu snacks, they've got an impressive selection in a small place. Highly recommended!!

Love this place. I went to school nearby and when I had a hankering for some comfort food, I’d come here and buy some ingredients. I love their ramen selection. They sell rice and you have options. They have many types of snacks to choose from too. They even have some frozen seafood options and more. Check out the photos for pics of the products they have in stock. Something you could make with ingredients that you could get here is mochi cake. ;)

I've been here numerous times with my friends while we're waiting for our order to be done next store in the restaurant. It has a nice selection of Asian ingredients at a very reasonable price. Scranton is very lucky to have this gem of a place.

Scranton is so lucky to have a store like this! There is a surprising amount of Thai groceries and goods packed into this little store. Prices are amazing and I found everything I could possibly need for cooking my ultimate comfort food. The best stuff is tucked in the freezers, so don't forget to browse through those. I can't recommend this spot enough, please check it out! I nearly bought half the store myself...
