I was pleasantly surprised to find such a well-stocked supermarket with long hour outside of town. Good selection of organic & natural packaged foods (crackers, baking ingredients, chocolate, frozen desserts), and local produce, too. Yay. We need more local produce in our lives !
Prices are reasonable for the island.

Great selection of food at reasonable prices on the Captain Cook side of the island. You can find your normal “Walmart” products here as well fresh fish and sushi.

This location is the only grocery store on Big Island that carries Three Trees almond milk, the best vegan milk that I’ve tried and loved. Please keep it going! ❤

Awesome Place To Drop In For A Quick Shop And Go.. Awesome Ahi Poke and kimchee shrimp poke.. Found some things other store don't carry.. Very satisfied customer..

I love grabbing food at the deli before or after beach day! Not only is it reasonably priced but the simple plates put together seem to stick to your ribs, that doesn’t cost an arm & a leg!! The produce is always fresh along with a good CHEESE selection!! 👌 Not to mention I picked up some French Baguette 🥖 for $1.29!!

Choicemart have always been a great choice! The fruit is very good! I have had alot of success getting good fruit here! The staff is very nice and friendly! I like going here! 🤙🤙🤙🤙

I have to say that ChoiceMART is now my favourite grocery store on Hawaii, they have everything you need and more. From an amazing selections of craft beers, beers on tap and a vast selection of wines to suit every taste that would truly rival any liquor store on Island. They have a hot and cold Deli counter for a grab and go meal or they can make what you need to order. The fresh caught fish section with local poke is amazing and I have to confess to always asking for a sample as it is so fresh and delicious. My favourite section is the fresh produce which has a fantastic organic selection. Who can go past the Big Island grass fed beef from the butcher in store without taking home a steak to throw on the grill as you get set for pau hana on your lanai. This place is amazing, you can even order online and pick up kerbside without even getting out of your car, better still they can deliver your online order to your home. BEST DAY EVER! Worked there for three years and it was one of the best jobs I ever had. This is one place that goes above and beyond "taking care of its employees". I would probably still be working there if I hadn't have had to leave the island.

One of the best grocery stores on the island. Love the poke that's prepared and available by the pound. Good beer selection, decent wine availability if a bit overpriced.

Extremely friendly and helpful. Cheery atomosphere. Well lit, smaller carts( so you can actually pass each other in the aisles), varieties of things that aren't offered at ANY other store in Kona, and short checkout lines combine to make it feel like OLD KONA shopping. Thank you

ChoiceMart is a great local grocery store that carries an unparalleled selection of local, organic, gluten-free, and gourmet items. They've recently updated the store with a meat counter that will custom-cut and even grind meat. They carry a variety of Big Island Beef and also have the widest variety of fresh fish of any grocery store on the west side of the Big Island. Their prices are higher than some other grocery stores, but the excellent quality and selection make it worthwhile to shop here.

Excellent selection of poke (marlin shoyu is our favorite), beer/wine, fresh produce, sundries, and anything else you might need. Reasonable prices for the islands.
