Tokyo Japanese Steak House

Had a great time! Lunch prices are very reasonable. Surprised nobody has mentioned that they don’t have yum yum sauce! That was the only negative. Our chef was funny and upbeat and made sure we all had a great time!

Food was great,so fresh that sometimes it’s cooked right at your table. The mushroom soup was tasty all the while packing a small hint of spice. The salad was fresh with a tasty house dressing. The chief was amazing,he had all the tricks with great tasting food. The experience is something to remember and a reason to return. With such a first time experience I am definitely coming back with my family and will enjoy watching it all unfold all the while my food is being prepared.

Post script- my next visit will provide more pictures of what is offered as an appetizer as well as plated food presentation.

For the past 3 years every time my 11 year old son gets to pick where we eat out we end up at this restaurant the food is great the chef we get is super entertaining really funny the kids love him it's so enjoyable it's a really nice place there are some chefs here that are newer and not as good quick little tip go for the more seasoned chefs

Never had a bad time! Cooks are great and really funny! Great with kids also and the noodles!!! I dream of the noodles, I’m greatful I live 30 min away or I’d be supper fat from noodles every day all day they are so great!

This place worked perfectly for a quick bite and it was much nicer than anticipated for a random stop. Fried gyoza 🥟 and the Fashion roll were great! I’d love to be back for a hibachi- looks like people at the hibachi table were enjoying it!

Had hibachi lunch here - the chef was very skilled and entertaining! Food was delicious. My kids had the sushi which was fresh and beautifully presented. The lunch specials were also reasonably priced. Located just inside the square one mall, lots of free parking.

Came in at 3 pm for teppanyaki. Immediately they checked our temperature and asked that we sanitize. We were seated quickly and the hostess was very nice. Our chef was skilled and very impressive. The food was top knotch. We will definitely be back

We have lived near Saugus for 6 years and have been to Square One Mall many times. We never stepped in to Tokyo and always passed by saying we want to eat there. We'll finally after a nice message up stairs at Xut Health Center went down and had a wonder lunch at Tokyo. It was truly the freshest Sushi 🍣 I have had in the immediate area. They also are a Japanese Steak House and cook on a hot grill in front of your table. As I sat I listened to one of the cheifs cook for a family. He was so funny and engaging, he had the whole family participating. It was very nice. I recommend this place for nice sushi and a drink at the beautiful bar. Or a wonderful family dinner with your family. Enjoy!!! Awesome food.

This has been me and my wife's favorite place for years. We just do Hot Pot and it never fails

This particular Tokyo Steak House is the best out of all the ones we have tried.

We frequent this location as the food is always amazing no matter which chef you get. Most of the chefs do a very fun and engaging show while they cook everything as well. This is a great place for the whole family and friends!

Amazing experience and the food was good. Chef was amazing, such an amazing personality and it really made the experience better. I 100% would recommend and definitely returning.

Had a really great experience coming in as a big group of 20 for a friend’s birthday last night! The hostess was friendly and accommodating. We waited for our entire group to arrive and we were promptly seated after. The food was delicious, highly recommend the steak and the shrimp! I also got a Mai Tai which I loved as well. My entire group had a lovely and interactive experience with the hibachi. 🤗 Will definitely be back!!

Just had small family get together to celebrate my nephew's birthday. Had a wonderful experience from the master chef who prepared our food while performing culinary tricks, to the waitresses who brought out the cake we had brought after we finished lunch to the sounds of birthday music. All staff courteous, restaurant very clean and food delicious. Wish them many more years at this location.

We went out for Habachi to celebrate a birthday. It was a fabulous experience. The food was delicious, our chef was hilarious 🤣 and service was super nice. AND the bathroom was clean :)

The experience was mind-blowing! Had my anniversary dinner there! Great place.... definitely going back again and again.

So, I haven’t eaten hibachi in a very long time, but after eating here tonight, I can say that it’s some of the best I’ve had. From the entertainment of the chefs, the quality of the food, and the value, all are great and fair priced. Our chef, was awesome!! Extremely entertaining, and the food tasted great!! I would recommend that anyone come here and check it out. It’s most definitely worth it!!
