You Need To Know? Arrived at 5:15 on a good Friday & we were seated immediately. The service in this place is first class. Every customer is very well tended too. Our waiter Matt was a very polite & observant young man. He picked up on the fact that my picky wifes coffee wasn't the right temperature & asked her if she wanted it heated. Nice pick up on Matts part & appreciated. Happy wife, happy life. The very light & crispy pizzas at this location come from a wood fired stove. We ordered the Bikini Bottom [hamburger, pickles, cheese, & Mac sauce], the Bronx Bomber [specialty cheese, sausage & pepperoni], & the wood fired Sicilian 😋 The pizzas were flavorful & delicious. The only knock was the Sicilian is not like a traditional Sicilian you would expect. High end pizza bar with a great vibe! Now You Know! -TBH

Our server Emily was amazing, can't say enough good things about her! Everything at Bar Pazzo was fantastic, the duck wings and the honey whipped ricotta, so good! We also shared the Bronx pizza, really enjoyed it! Wonderful place!

HOLY THE FOOD WAS GOOD!!! Best Italian Food Ive had so far compared to the west coast. I ordered the Cascatelli Presto, every bite was cheesy. My family ordered the Margarita pizza, the sauce was sweet and tamatoey. Overall HIGHLY recommend eating here if you stop by Scranton🍝🍝!!!

What a great place. Cool atmosphere, great pizza and an ample yet creative drink menu. A variety of white, bubbly or red wines as well. The service is great. You should make a reservation and they do have bar seating, that is tight but an option…this place gets busy, so plan in advance.

I suggest a wine flight and the margarita pizza.

We ordered pizza and were very surprised by the quality of the tomato sauce and the dough. really good!
the pasta was also very good. we especially appreciated the effort put into trying new recipes and letting you taste new Italian flavors (I'm Italian) and not just the classic spaghetti with sauce.

One of the best places in Scranton. One of our favorites. The Honey Whipped Ricotta is truly unbelievable. A sweet and savory combination you will love. All unique combination Wood Fired Pizzas that will have you wanting to come back and try them all. Great friendly staff and service overall every time. The one thing I strongly recommend for Friday and weekends you MAKE RESERVATIONS. @FoodOfAFeather

What an excellent celebration. We took our son and daughter in law here. We sampled some of their appetizers, mains and pizza. It was all excellent. Personally my favorite was the mushroom and truffle wood fire pizza. The lobster crepe was awesome but a bit rich for my blood and if I am being picky not enough lobster
By the way the first name of this restaurant is "BAR" and for good reason. The mixed drinks were excellent and I liked their draft selection.

Food was beyond spectacular. Fresh quick. Seasonal menu.

The seared scallops were sweet, fresh, cooked properly.

The Margarita Pizza was awesome. Crust and sauce were on point.

The blondie was a perfect meal ender.

I met a friend at Bar Pazzo for dinner and drinks. I had a type of Sangria (can't remember name) that tasted amazing. So good I had two. My friend and I ordered the duck wing and Margarita Pizza which is wood fired. Everything is homemade and just delicious.

Great Italian food and pizza. Full bar. Super selection of beers and cocktails. Lots of appetizers and other food for everyone. Great vibe and awesome service.

They opened 16:00 on Saturday and we didn't have reservation. They sat us right right away. The waitress was very helpful with the wine selection and meal recommendations. We had the octopus, the eggplant fritti and a margarita pizza. The food was really really good. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town. Great job.

This place is a hidden Gem. I have been living in the area for a short period and have tried so many places that I have lost count. I have been endlessly disappointed with the food as I have high expectations when I go out to eat. I must say this place is absolutely fabulous. The food is delicious, the drinks were great and the deserts as well. My family and I could not be more delighted. Thank you to the chef/s, management and servers. Everything was amazing this Easter Sunday. I highly recommend this place.

Scranton, site of “The office” TV series, “electric city”. There is street parking available, Bar Pazzo look from outside is not in anyway unique or spectacular, however inside style is airy and bright with industrial chic decor. High ceilings, and use of wood and artworks are noticeable. They have open kitchen and two wood fired ovens. Bathroom was clean and nice. Server was trained and efficient.
We ordered roasted Octopus which was tasty, followed by pork chop that was juicy and two pizzas. Bronx Bomber is similar to meat lover pizza and Scrantonian is like pepperoni pizza. Both were hot and a bit dark at the bottom that I have seen in wood fired oven pizzas. Establishment is clean and there is moderate level of noise. Good for getting together with friends and maybe your date, you need to be close to each other to hear 😁all in all good, average probably 30-40$ per person.👍🏼

Fantastic flavors and execution! I loved my experience at this quality yet casual Italian restaurant. The vibe is welcoming and the food is well prepared. I had a perfectly cooked piece of salmon on top of spring beans and vegetables with a lemon sauce...so wonderful. We also shared the whipped ricotta, which was heavenly...a MUST order!!! The octopus, beet salad and pasta special were great. The cocktails were very unique and refreshing. Make room for the desserts too. Cannot wait to visit Bar Pazzo again!

I moved to the Poconos in January. Bar Pazzo is the best Italian food I have had outside of the City. All 3 visits to the restaurant were incredible! Also always save room for the ice cream!

One of the few restaurants that open in the week in downtown Scranton. Good food, with lots of fresh ingredients. The honey whipped ricotta is excellent. We both had fish, which was light and perfectly cooked.

Customer service was on point! Christy was super helpful navigating their gluten free options

Great atmosphere and amazing food! Seasonal menus with fresh ingredients. Unique cocktails. Nice place for date night or any occasion.

Such a wonderful addition to the downtown Scranton food scene. Great decor, great vibe, nice cocktail selection, and good food. The kitchen seating is like a dinner and a show. Everything I've tried here has been delicious. Reservations aren't accepted until there is a packed house, so plan very carefully on weekends (6pm onward).

Bar Crazy (Pazzo translate) one of the main courses is brussel sprouts. But it's not fully vegan. No, it has bacon and egg, red peppers. Delicious and all natural without the taste of salt. Pizza to die for. Drink menu, try the Italian job martini. Dessert, gelato. Our go to when we're in town. They open at 4p. Call ahead for resy. Walk-ins welcome. Full bar.
