Came here with my family on invitation from a member. It totally exceeded our expectations. The people were extremely nice and took the time to answer any and all questions asked. Both my daughter and I went up and it was an amazing feeling soaring with birds.

This is a good place if you are already a glider pilot and can get someone to talk to you about flying one when they’re not busy flying themselves. I joined the club several years ago looking for instruction and got absolutely nothing for the time I was there other than a request to help all the senior members with their flying. I did get a bill for dues. Not ONCE did I get to go up in a glider with these folks much less instruction. For the brief time I was their I was charged $330. I have since gotten training and a glider rating at the Seminole Glider port. Totally different experience. Great folks, very welcoming and knowledgeable. Most recently I returned to re-engage with TSS and they doubled down on their great outreach program telling me I as terrible for not being their grunt and paying for the honor. Apparently that is their go to move. If you are already a glider pilot and have a glider this is probably an OK place but I you’re a newbie and want to learn this is DEFINITELY NOT the place
