Hampton Inn Marathon - Florida Keys

The room is spacious and offers nice amenities. We appreciate the cleanliness and quiet. A suggestion is to broaden breakfast options to include bacon, cut up fresh fruit, and white bread on a daily basis. The staff is wonderful and tries to ensure a pleasant stay. The AGM, John, is especially helpful and engaging. I misplaced my purse during my stay and he went above and beyond to look for it.

I stayed here on a trip through the keys in January 2024. I paid $234 with taxes and everything. It is a very nice establishment with lots of amenities and great service. I got a good night sleep in their spacious room and a hearty breakfast from their continental offering. Seemed to be a bit of water damage in my room, but it is Florida, and the patio could benefit from a screen door in addition to the sliding glass one, however perhaps the latter would exacerbate the former. Other than that, no complaints.

Stayed overnight on way home from vacation. Comfortable bed. Room clean. AC quiet and cold. Enjoyed sitting on the pier watching the iguanas and the boats. So serene! Breakfast was hot and delicious.

We stayed there for two nights. The staff was super kind and helpful, especially Li at the front desk. He helped us find a room with good views and access to the pool. He then explained to us the details about nearby attractions, history of Marathon, and recommended us to awesome local restaurants. Whenever we had questions, he was super nice and patient answering our questions in detail. The pool and the breakfast there were great too. We would definitely recommend staying at this Inn.

Nice, updated hotel. Clean rooms. Good breakfast which was included. Pool/hot tub were very nice! We actually chose to come back on our same trip because it fit our needs perfectly! Centrally located...an hour to Key West and 50 min to Islamorada.

Despite some of the reviews that I have seen, this place is wonderful! This is an older smaller hotel. Very well kept up! The staff is amazing! The hotel itself is fresh and clean!!! Great amenities! When I come back to the Keys, I will stay here again!

It's right on the highway with sufficient parking. Lots of nice places to eat at within walking distance.
Check-in was quick and efficient.
Wi-Fi was free and fast.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The place was very dog-friendly. Our room opened via a balcony directly into the parking lot with the dog park next to it.
The breakfast was basic but good.
Coffee was available all the time.
It was a pleasant stay. No problems.

Excellent Stay at the Hampton Inn Marathon. The staff was incredible and the property VERY well maintained. Special attention should be given to the front desk representatives Li (who provided exceptional care and service) as well as the front desk night audit representative. I am afraid we did not get her name but she is from the area and was lovely as well as very well informed. She helped provide all kinds of local information to us such as boat launch info. Lastly, we would like to recognize Louis who came running after us from housekeeping when we forgot an item in the room. All the way to the parking lot.
Truly exceptional! We highly recommend your property. It is very well managed. I have been in a Director in the Resort Industry for over 20 years (WDW and Four Seasons) and love to give praise when well deserved. THANK YOU FOR AN EXCELLENT STAY!

Only spent one night here. Room was great. Pool and bar were fantastic. Plenty of selection at breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Love this place. Customer service is above and beyond. Rooms are very nice and spotless, grounds are pristine. Very friendly enviroment. Great breakfast, very nice pool. Across the street, walking distance is a great restaurant.

We got away for a weekend and had an amazing time. The breakfast was great and the accommodations were clean. The pool setup is wonderful for families and it’s in Marathon near a bunch of wonderful attractions. Our toddler and pet pug had a wonderful time.

My family stay in this inn during the weekend. The location is perfect for some boating and fishing. The service is very nice. Mr. Li help us a lots to get everything done. Will visit again in the future.

This is a great hotel in the Keys. The location couldn't be more perfect. Beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets, with water on both sides. They have a small dock with chairs to sit on the water. The rooms are fairly recently renovated, and typical of the area. Breakfast was a little sparse. It seems most hotels are doing the bare minimum to cut costs these days. I didn't really interact with any staff other than check in, which was smooth and easy. I'll definitely stay here again when in the area.

This property is substandard to any Hilton based property that I've ever visited. The beds are horrible, very lumpy and soft. The toilet is for small people or toddlers. I'm 5'5 and I had to almost kneel to get on the toilet. It was murder on my hips and bed. It's so close to the ground. Then to boot I found a large hard toenail in the sheets. This was clear that the bed sheets were nit changed from the previous guest. That really groused me out. The breakfast area is in a totally different building from the rooms. It was like walking a miniature marathon just to get breakfast. This stay was not good. The hotel is probably at the most a 2star* hotel because of its living accommodations. Would not recommend it to anyone over 5 feet or anyone who is use to professional and considerate accommodations. The smell when we first walked was a bit stake-stuffy and a hint of mold. The side doors to the parking lot was unlocked, didn't have to use your card which was very unsafe. Anyone could enter the building from the side doors if the parking lot. Very unsafe for guests living there.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Room were nice and cold in the fl heat. Next to boat ramp. Terrible parking spaces when you are pulling trailer and boats. Not enough of the parking space. Good for a one night stay.

This is a great place to stay in the Keys. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We had 11 people in our party and we were able to get our rooms relatively close together. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is a free continental breakfast included with your stay. Located in Marathon it is about halfway through the Keys and is close to activities in either direction. This was a great affordable place to stay for a family.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Key West. Li was extremely helpful checking us in. The room was nice with a good view. There is a nice area by the water to sit in the mornings. The pool is nice and we really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this hotel. There are also two restaurants within walking distance

Perfect location to spend two nights half way from Miami on the way down to Key West. Room was clean and comfortable, great free breakfast selection and nice pool area to come back to late afternoon after checking out the local business/dining places. Sombrero beach nearby was nice as well.

One of the best Hampton Inns we have visited. Rooms look newly renovated. Bed was comfy. Nice walk in shower. Their free breakfast had numerous choices & the eating area was large & well laid out. The pool area was nice & there was a tiki bar which sadly we didn't get to use this trip. There was also a small walking path overlooking the water & some boats that were anchored, as well a volleyball net set up on the grass to the side of the pool. Definitely will come back to this location. Just wish their Florida resident rates offered a larger discount(price wasn't much lower than AAA or Hilton honors price point).
