Best Western Plus Kingston Hotel And Conference Center

We enjoyed our stay here. It was an easy drive to Bellayre Mountain. The indoor courtyard and pool were cool and breakfast was good. Be aware that some rooms border the courtyard so if you want quiet/privacy, avoid booking those. Staff were fabulous, especially Bonnie!

Update- I had an issue with a worker here but the manager swiftly resolved it with no time wasted. And gave me a genuine face to face apology and that means more to me this day and age than anything else. I do plan on returning on a regular basis. The place is really clean and emasculate to say the least and the staff take their jobs very serious. 10/10 would recommend

First time staying here. In fact I will be checking out tomorrow, but wanted to get a quick review done. I read some of the other reviews online and yes this is an older hotel, and there has been a lot of work done on the place. My room was extremely clean and comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and very attentive to my needs. James(day shift) James(night shift) yes two different people, Mariah, and Sabrina were all easy to work with, so if you're checking in I hope you get to meet one of them as they are all very skilled at working the front desk and know just about everything to do in the area.
There is a huge pool, game area with all sorts of arcade games and a gym. There is also an on site laundry room
Plenty of parking. The hotel has a conference center, which does quite a bit of business. I for one is giving this place a 5, even though they might not be there yet, but for my stay it's a 5, I have faith that they will achieve there goals

Good stay. Convenient location close to the town and other hiking areas. Good hot breakfast and nice staff. Overall very satisfied with my stay and a good option if need a well located base for the weekend .

my son left his wallet in our room at checkout, housekeeping returned it to the front desk immediately where we were able to retrieve it hours later ! such honest great staff!!

Clean rooms and hotel grounds. Typical business stay hotel. Close to downtown and great location. Rooms can use small touch ups, remote didnt work, the heater smelled a bit of wet dog, and felt a little dated, but was enjoyable stay.

They allow dogs! :) Kingston is a few blocks away and so cute! Farmers markets, vegan food etc close by, just .5 mile away. Easy to find the hotel, easy to park close to your closest exit (good lighting in parking lot, very nice staff, that leaves you alone unless you need them, lots of well behaved dogs here and there. Heated small pool, cute arcade area for kids. Dedicated smoking patio outside that is away from the entrances. (The hotel is low key, the tubs are older and not everything is 'perfect' or high end, but it's clean overall and good option for the price and ease of seemingly safe parking.) People do chat late night thru the aisles and they have events so it's not silent which I appreciate since I'm not the quietest person myself.

Loved the hotel, great location, nice pool, helpful staff, clean rooms. Good breakfast and free, can’t beat that these days. Can walk to town and parks.

We were greeted with the utmost respect and kindness.
Our rooms were very well kept and clean .
Maintenance and housekeeping were onsite and extremely helpful when I managed to lock my purse in the bathroom..

This is a great location also!!!!
Besides there wonderful bistro kitchen and bar, there is a Italian food joint right behind building.

Beds are comfy, rooms are very clean, people are perfect, game room and pool; it's just an all around lovely atmosphere!

My only complaint is, I couldn't have time to stay longer....

I sent a weekend here for a work conference I was running. I was very impressed and happy with the hotel, staff, food, and accommodations. Anything I needed, no matter how trivial they provided.

Stayed during Columbus Day weekend. Clean nice hotel with indoor pool, gym and arcade games included breakfast and i have BW rewards member.

James P. is an awesome worker at this location. We were on the road and ready to get off the road for the night and pull into this location to check to see if they had rooms Mr.James P was awesome and told us where we could grab a bite to eat at that time of morning. The rooms was nice and the bed slept so well.

I stayed here three nights for a work event. The BW staff was super nice. The breakfast was awesome every morning. They also provided goodies during the day and one dinner meal, all those food and drinks were great. My room was clean, big TV with Showtime, and the WiFi worked fine. I hit the gym once and it was nice (normal hotel gym). There was a nice looking pool but I didn’t go in. All in all, heck yah 👍

This hotel is great. Really great price for everything you’re getting and the staff is so nice. I particularly appreciated Judith at the front desk. So kind and always helpful. I let her know my friend and I were hiking early in the AM and asked if she could check in on us by a certain time. Always awesome to know there’s really great people like that out there!

Good breakfast and room fairly clean, little pricey but okay for staying a few days

The staff is wonderful. Clean rooms. Real scrambled eggs at the breakfast bar. That's a real plus. My shower head wasn't working correctly and they gave me another room. Very courteous. Thank you James, for your hospitality.

Front desk staff very accommodating and friendly. Rooms clean and spacious good working A/C. Nice bar and grill only complaint is it doesn't open till 4 or 5 pm.good food and nice bartender Shai .great breakfast in the mornings. Tables to sit at outside were an extra plus. The catskill train ride is only a mile a way and very affordable. I dont care how young or old you are, the train ride is fun and enjoyable. I'd rate this place from 1 to 5 and big fat 10.

This is my first ever written review.
We checked in Friday night September 2nd and checked out Monday the 5th.
We really enjoyed our stay! The complimentary breakfast options in the morning were great and filling!
The indoor heated pool was enjoyable and relaxing. My dad and I enjoyed the billiard table, though a new set of balls is definitely needed!
The staff were great and very accommodating... shout-out to Judith!
My parents and I really enjoyed what Kingston had to offer: we walked the Stockades uptown area, visited the Old Dutch Church, the historic Senate House, the Forsyth Nature Center, Trolley Museum- then took a ride on the trolley, we came upon a farmers market and came away with sole goods, we visited the Hudson River Maritime Museum and then did the lighthouse tour, came upon the annual Hooley on the Hudson Irish festival, and on our last day..we booked a ride on the Catskill Mountain Railroad which climbs Hurley Mountain.
Our room did have a leak in the bathroom from the floor above, we did inform the front desk upon check out, hopefully that gets fixed.
Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience.
Hospitality was excellent, the staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and outgoing.
Was there overnight for a retirement party, and the buffets were delicious
Definitely a must in our future trips

The room was clean. Dan the head of maintenance will go above and beyond to help with any questions or needs you may have while you stay. I traveled with my whole family and everyone in the hotel from management to the house keeper have been kind and accommodating. My family has loved the heated pool. And there's a gas station just down the road maybe a 2 min drive. Myself and My family would recommend this hotel.
