Auerbach Jeffrey J DDS

I just went to turn this dentist into the FL Dental Board but lucky for him he is already retired. I will still explain the terrible work I had done. After doubting the care I received for a crown from Dr. A, I visited a new dentist. The new dentist took about 20 X-rays of the crown and told me it was completely open and needed to be replaced. I was really upset because not only had I just had the work done 2 months ago but also I didn't have dental insurance (I was a graduate student at the time) and paid Dr. Auerbach about $1,200 cash for it. He also told me I had several deep cavities. Completely in shock I seeked a 2nd opinion because I didn't understand how that could be...I had been getting regular 6 month checkups from Auerbach and he never told me I had cavities! I now realize its because he has completely out dated procedures and equipment.
The next dentist told me the same exact news. The crown was "clinically unacceptable." She wanted to remove the crown because it was open and food/bacteria could be getting in. I stuck with this dentist and had her begin the work. She removed the crown and found that he had also did not finish the work to the underlying tooth. The cotton they impact the space after a root canal was still in there! She said the dentist is supposed to remove that after the root canal, clean, fill and shape the tooth. Additionally, my gums began to grow into the space so now I need a laser procedure to my gums as well. So now a year and a half later I am still having this tooth worked on and I'm so frustrated!
