Marissa's Bookstore

I own a small local lawn care business, so whenever possible, I try to support local businesses. Marissa's Bookstore is locally owned, and the selection of books here is vast. They have unique finds and a great atmosphere to browse them in. I took my boys here on free children's book day. The children's selection was great, and I was surprised the quality of books that we received for just coming in and were free. Skip the big chain bookstores when you can and come check out this little mom and pop shop. You won't be disappointed!

This is such an amazing book store. Well organized and a joy to browse. The eclectic furniture and thoughtful shelf displays are delightful. Also…. This find of a Scarlet Pimpernel time travel paperback is the coolest find. The travel diary of a Korean Buddhist nun is so very cool. Even though I live in another state, I will be back to this store.

I wish I had discovered this place earlier. This is a hole-in-the wall for used book stores. The selection is huge. They also have places to sit and read.

I look forward to going back..... I got some really nice books the children enjoyed I got some literature for me to read everything was reasonably priced they do have used books as well and a very nice sitting area with a chess board for studies and quietness.... The place seems clean and well kept

Marissa's Bookstore is always a delight! I browsed for about an hour this time, and bought a small book about mathematics (regular polyhedra and their variants). I've never had a poor experience here, and I've never walked away without a new treasure.

This place is fantastic. It probably has more books than a library. The employees are all very courteous and helpful. They helped me locate two books and then mailed them for me to friends out of state. The layout of the store is the coolest thing ever. As you walk through the store you keep finding new rooms with rows of books. They also have lots of antique furniture and statues etc. I would highly recommend this place. Don't send your money to Amazon this place is much better and faster and the lady that owns it is pretty cool.

I was searching for a hard to find book and was able to find it online at Marissa’s Bookstore. I placed the order late on a Friday and my book was delivered on Monday! The book is in perfect condition and it was delivered quickly. I would definitely use Melissa’s again when needing a book!

What a great place! There are so many unique finds. What I enjoy most about this used and new bookstore is that I always find something new that I wasn't even looking for. All of a sudden there is a book that I've never heard of, I read the dust jacket, and then joyfully take is home. Their selection is extensive, the prices are reasonable, and sometimes even free. Staff is pleasant. Makes for a really nice afternoon with a fancy coffee. Plus, I can leave with an arm full of books and still have money in my wallet. Fun fun fun!

Incredibly charming bookstore with tons of books on any topic you could dream of. It's very well organized and throughout the store there are tasteful decorations and displays.

I love this local bookstore. I had wandered into Marissa’s looking for a book for a school assignment, and after asking an associate if they had it in stock, they said they did not but they had it at their warehouse in a different location. I figured that meant I had to put an order in and come back in a few days, but the associate said they could go grab it and get it to me in 15 minutes. I was really appreciative of their willingness to literally run to their warehouse and get me the book I was looking for, and for that I will always return to Marissa’s for all of my reading needs!

Not only did my order arrive promptly, packaging was impeccable! Customer service was outstanding! As for my book, perfect.

I ordered the Caraval series and I’m beyond satisfied! Not only was the shipping fast and the prices were CHEAP, but the books were in great condition. Will be buying from again.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Generally really fair prices as well. The place is massive and atmosphere is magical. It's used and new bookstore heaven!! Only two things I wish for are a coffee shop inside and slightly newer selection in the fantasy genre (but I think they are working on that. It's better every time I go).

I was SO excited that they were able to open on a holiday! I love that book store, I wish with all my heart, they NEVER have to think about closing, I probably go about every month, and the joy it brings me, every time I visit that place, it's like seeing it again....and again...and again, thrills me every time I see it month!

Best used book shop I've ever been to! The selection is massive and varied. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The shop has so much character, from the unique bookends, to fabulously mismatched furniture and light fixtures.
Each space is cozy and fanciful. This shop sparks the imagination.

What a wonderful and magical place! It’s much bigger than it looks and is packed with all sorts of books and similar materials. A readers dream. Something for everyone. Well organized. Kind staff. Even a bookstore dog that greets you! I’m so thrilled to have found this spot and will be back.

I absolutely adore Marissa's book store. They have a really excellent selection of books,reading material, etc. Staff is very friendly, and will help you find what you're looking foe. Their website is just as fabulous. Highly recommend people give them their business.

Coolest book store in Utah! They have EVERY book you would ever need! Great layout and easy to find the topics you are looking for... the decor is oh so cute!
