My check engine light had been coming on and off intermittently for weeks in my ‘17 Challenger. While other mechanics would tell me that their diagnostic machine “didn’t pick up Dodge codes” or would charge $200+ just to diagnose the vehicle, Jimmy was quickly able to identify what was going on within the car’s engine. Although his car lot was full to the point where I could barely find a parking spot, Jimmy allowed me to keep my Dodge in his lot to prevent any further wear and tear on the engine, especially since I have a long commute to and from work.
Jimmy is a fair and honest mechanic who takes pride in his business and treats his customers and their vehicles with the upmost care.

I will recommend this shop to everyone from now on. They are very kind, honest, and do great work! When we brought our car in that was more damage than what it was worth they gave us an honest suggestion. Then later when we brought in another car for brakes they suggested to just clean the brakes because there was plenty of life left in them. Did amazing job fixing our car! So happy I found them and will recommend them to everyone!

I have always used Christian brothers and have never been happy. Decided to give Jimmy a try and I could not be any happier with my decision!!!! Jimmy is an old school mechanic shop that prides themselves on quality work and honesty. I had an oil leak and had a feeling any place I called would take a while to get it in. Jimmy told me over the phone to drop it off and he would look at it the next day. Well an hour into the next day he called and had it figured out with a good price. I had an awesome experience when I came in to pay as well he went over everything he had to do, showed me the old part, showed me the new part and I felt I was well taken care of. Best of all he didn’t try to sell me on other services. That’s one of the things I absolutely hate about taking my car to any mechanic. They always try to instill the element of fear to try to sell you on other services. Jimmy is a straight shooter and honest. I took my 2010 Yaris to Midas to fix a small leak in my exhaust pipe. They looked at it and told me they found several other leaks and that they would have to replace the whole exhaust system and it would be about $1500.

For a second opinion I brought it in to Jimmy's and they said they would look at it. I never got a call saying what they saw or how much it would cost, so I was a bit surprised when they said it was fixed and i could pick it up. In total it was just $250 and they welded the leaks for me.

Though I was a little irritated that they fixed it before telling me the cost, I was thrilled with the result. They were very friendly and professional and the building looked the way a proper garage should look, not like some squeaky clean corporate owned garage that tries to pressure you into purchases you dont need. Highly recommended.

Jimmy himself is a truly down to earth man who cares about his customers and their vehicles. I happily pay the obnoxious unfortunate price of vehicle maintenance here because they offer honest service and a state of mind that my vehicles will stay on the road safely. It's a busy shop for good reasons.

I had a relatively unique service question for Jimmy's Automotive. Called up, spoke to Jimmy himself, and while he didn't have next day availability, he was able to book up my service needs within minutes. Incredibly accommodating and helped me in a real pinch. Very much appreciate his time and energy.

This is a great place to have your vehicle serviced at. Jimmy-Dave-Jacob are all really great to work with and they are honest. There’s another tech but I have not had much interaction with him however he is nice too. They try to get you in as soon as they can and they do not try to give you services you do not need. Give them a call you will be glad you did. It’s hard to find honest folks these days. At Jimmy’s they are!

I was very satisfied with Jimmys. He was very kind, gave me an honest quote which was lower than anywhere else,got my breaks and shocks done sooner than promised. I will go back in the future for other auto needs.

Randomly made an appointment based on reviews to have an oil change and tire rotation and brake check for a Tuesday the following week. On the weekend before, my car wouldn’t start and called AAA who came to give me a jump so I drove it on over and left on the lot Sunday night. Called on Monday AM to let them know of the unexpected drop-off, fully expecting to wait for my scheduled appointment on Tuesday. Steve called an hour or so later with an update and recommendations. Ended up having oil change, tire rotation, new brakes and rotors on the front and a new battery; all for a reasonable price and got my car back that same day! I’m so happy to have found Jimmy’s Automotive and won’t be going anywhere else. Great service and I’ve already sent a friend there. These guys are great! Give them your business, you won’t regret it.

The most honest mechanic around, I brought my car in thinking I needed new brakes, and Jimmy could have easily charged me for a full replacement like I thought I needed, instead I was shown that my brakes are in great condition and in no need of replacement yet, not only honest but informative about the entire situation and let me know what needed to be done, highly recommend to anyone looking for the real deal and someone who cares!

Great place to take car for repair and they do a good job towing as well. Staff is very nice and I have known Jim since he was in high school many many years ago. Brought new car to them for tow package install.

Very nice people. We were on our way home to NC and the alternator went out they was the only one around that would help us. They made us feel very comfortable as we waited. Enjoyed seeing such kind people. Would use them again if ever needed. Recommend u check them out if in the area.

We are thankful for Jimmy and his business! Late one Saturday afternoon, we were halfway into a 700 mile road trip when our engine began overheating. We called several repair shops and Jimmy was the only one who was willing to give us some tips to help us make it to the repair shop and then stay past closing time to make sure we were able to make it home.
