Rainforest Cafe

We ate at the bar so we didn't have to wait for a table. Mike, the bartender, and his co-workers took care of us. Cleared out the bar and served us water right away. Got our order and came out in a timely manner. I had the Creole Mac n Cheese substitute chicken! Very delicious! Had a small spice to it. I finished the plate clean! The rest of my family were satisfied with their food and service as well. Mike was very friendly, especially to my brother's service in the military. He even brought out a birthday muffin for our birthday girl! I highly recommend this place after you spend the whole day at Disney's Animal Kingdom!

We had a great time at Rainforest Cafe during our visit to Animal Kingdom. Here are some tips to make your visit smoother and more fun:

Always make a reservation whether you are going solo, as a couple, or as a family. The more in advance you can do it, the less you wait.

They have a cool thunderstorm thing going on in the restaurant every half an hour or so, it's pretty nice and the lights blink on and off for a few seconds.

Take a lot of pictures but try not to get in the way of the very hardworking servers as they flit in and out of the restaurant often.

There are multiple fish tanks throughout the establishment with gorgeous fish, don't forget to pass by them all!

They have great servers, please tip well and listen to their recommendations. Being nice gets you a long way.

We were having a bit of a bad day due to external circumstances and the servers made sure we smiled and had a good time.

The store has some great finds and is suitable for most budgets.

The food is absolutely delicious, legit no complaints here. We were a party of four and cleaned our plates.

Thank you for a great time, and I hope we get to visit again soon because we loved everything from the atmosphere to the food to the lovely people who made sure we had a great time.

We had a great meal, superb service, and the atmosphere was outstanding. The BBQ chicken and ribs were very tasty and tender. The mango drink was great, it had a lot of ice so that took away from the amount of alcohol it had, it was great but a non-drinker like me did not get that one drink buzz.

Food was ok. My steak was really tough and not a lot of flavor unless you smear the garlic butter around on it. They changed the recipe for the coconut shrimp so those didn't taste the same. The old recipe was better. Our server was nice but slow. It took about 15 minutes to see her after we sat down. So no drinks until then but plenty of time to look over the menu and know what we wanted by the time she got there. Still an awesome atmosphere.

We finally decided to try the Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I ordered the creole salmon with shrimp and substituted the seasonal veggies for Cole slaw. My boyfriend ordered the bourbon salmon with coconut shrimp and swapped the shrimp for blackened shrimp along with mixed veggies. On a whole it was tasty. We both preferred the bourbon flavor over the creole. The shrimp were on the "petite" side and the mixed veggies and Cole slaw were great. The waiter was very accommodating and patient.

We sat at the bar. I was concerned because we had my kiddo with us. Bar area was family friendly for sure. Jeffrey was AMAZING!! He interacted with my 8 year old and made her feel special by having her color a picture for him. Food was excellent, but Jeffrey MADE the experience for us.

Fish and chips were on point!
Sampler was great - those egg rolls are phenomenal!
Rasta Pasta was good as well.

Ok, it's a cafe with a rainforest in it. It's fun. But most importantly the staff is above most places I've been, super helpful and engaging. I had steak with fries (non-dairy so can't have the yummy mashed) and it was AMAZING! like one of the top five steals ever. Delicious. My husband had Island Trip and it was also really tasty, love their rice.

About 15 minutes after our reservation time before we were seated. Very busy as the Animal Kingdom was closing. Once seated or safari guide,Junior, was amazing! He was very quick with our order, checked on us frequently and ensured our glasses were never empty. His happy demeanor made the meal so much more of a pleasant experience. We ordered the Pastalaya and the Cobb salad with blackened chicken. Both were delicious. Big servings left no room for dessert but I'm not complaining. So good!

This restaurant is based on atmosphere it’s very beautiful inside of the restaurant with moving animal art pieces, mock thunderstorms. The food was so tasty and savory. My wife had the chicken Alfredo pasta and I had the top sirloin with teriaki sauce which was top notch. For desert we both shared the volcano which is chocolate, brownies, vanilla ice cream and whip cream trust me you’ll be full before you even have desert but it was well worth ordering. Me and my wife also ordered some alcoholic beverages which come in a souvenir glass which was very nice to take home with us. The prices as you would expect especially at Disney are going to be alittle higher then your average everyday restaurant but after both of our meals, drinks, and desert we paid $117 which wasn’t really out of the question considering every restaurant in Disney springs would be roughly the same or even more. Recommend especially if you have children and would love to come back again

Food was delicious, had such a great time! They had a new item on the menu that I tried, Bombay Chicken and Shrimp. I omitted the chicken but the flavors were spot on. Hints of spice/sweetness from the chillies and coconut cream. Overall a super creamy dish that was delectable.

We brought a large party of 45 people and from the initial tike of the reservation all the way through it was very organized and easy. Our prearranged meal was fabulous and they gave generous portions. Staff went above and beyond to make our girls feel special. Thank you from oak ridge high school cheer.

I made my omelette and it was delicious. I liked the place. The blt was not bad. That’s the good place for kids and family meals.

They also have a shop.

Great place to eat and fun to watch the animals come to life every 30 minutes when it rains! I had the shrimp and chili chicken curry. It was delicious!!! My husband had the fish and chips. He said it was one of the best he’s ever had! The kids liked their meals and they were served on a cute Rainforest plate. I wish I would have taken more photos . There was so much to look at🤣 They have a huge gift shop too!

We love this place! Staff is always friendly. We came in after a hot afternoon at Animal Kingdom. Enjoyed a good meal, loved shopping around. Bartender was awesome. They brought a cupcake out and sang to a friend for his birthday. A trio of baritone singers they were so good 😊

Another great experience. As a Landry’s select club member you also get priority seating and earn points. Attached to animal kingdom so we walked over for lunch. They also serve breakfast. They have refreshed the food and cocktail menu and even added many new desserts. Strawberry daiquiri was delicious as well as Mai tai. We loved the shrimp scampi flat bread! Best thing I’ve had here. My son loved the Rasta pasta. I love they can customize it so he had it prepared exactly the way he wanted. The trio platter was good. Love the scampi. Sirloin was good but not like a fine steakhouse but I didn’t expect that. I will definitely return. The ambience is the best. Super cute and stimulating for kids. Beautiful decor and amazing fish tanks.

The wait was long but worthy, good food was ahead.

Our server wanted to give us a good experience and even if the place was full, she did took care of us.

Really enjoyed here. Staff, food and setting excellent. I had the top sirloin. Steak was which was great. A family of 4 and we shared a platter starter and dessert

My wife and I brought the kids here for vacation and had to stop in at rainforest for breakfast. Our server, Jacqueline was excellent and did everything in a very professional manner. Highly recommend this place. Also, who I assume to be a manager came around every so often to ensure we were taken care of. To each is own but I prefer this over Ohana anyday. Try the jungle fever (bloody mary) you will not be disappointed! We will be back!

Due to allergies, we haven't been able to easily go out for dinner at a restaurant for over year and when we have We have experienced some form of contamination. We took a chance on the rainforest cafe and so glad we did. The waiting staff and manager took care of us from start to finish. Worked out a menu that our 4 year old could eat and really made his day.

We finally were able to make it after a day at Animal Kingdom. It is right outside as you walk out of the park. The wait was over an hour BUT guess what!? They let children seat at the bar and there were seats available🥳🎉 🙌.
