Sunnyside Up

I got a delicious shrimp poboy! You can't go wrong with that. It's delicious hot and tasty! Fries come with the poboy! I went on 2/10/2024. I wish that I could post my pic of my meal.

Great food hit and cooked to order. I had a Patty Melt with crinkle fries remind me of how the food used to taste when I was 20. Excellent customer service bravo.

Delicious food, seat yourself dining experience. Only been here once but the speed and efficiency of this place is amazing. The small diner voices are wonderful but the place could use an update. Still, not sure that could improve the great overall experience.

A top rated restaurant, serving primarily breakfast dishes. The food is always great, served within a few minutes of ordering, and a ample amount. A diner type of establishment, with seats at the serving bar, tables & booths available. What's special about this place, is the friendly staff. With employees working here for many years, you get to know them personally & makes for a more pleasurable and friendly dining experience. The prices are inexpensive for the generous amount of portions served. For a great breakfast, stop in here. A thank you, to Tashana, my server, for doing a great job as well. Always great food.

As previously mentioned the outside of this restaurant located in a strip mall leaves u wondering. Must say it's obviously a staple in this neighborhood. Got there bout 40mins before it closed at 3p. Sat ourselves, server came got our order and in 10mins piping hot food was before us!! No waiting, quick service.... also as previously mentioned, it's a very diverse grp that are working behind the counter, and they seem to be quite happy, either b/c they were closing soon or just happy to be alive 🙃.... defitively an experience. Hubster enjoyed his catfish the best.... prices were very reasonable.

The hubs loves breakfast! It’s his favorite meal out so after reading a ton of reviews about this place we headed over for breakfast.

The place was packed and I can see why! They have excellent service, and very good food!!

The hubs had pancakes and bacon with coffee. He really enjoyed the pancakes, the only thing that would’ve made them better would have been real butter (not spread… which we understand that spread actually “spreads” unlike cold butter.)

I had scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and a waffle. The waffle and pancakes are made with different batter - which was a pleasant surprise!

As a total aside I loved that this place is a real picture of America … all kinds of people working hard to serve all kinds of people. The owners must be very cool people.

I used to think Shoney's had the best, and then it was Golden Corral. I moved to ATL GA 7yrs ago and down to Pooler 5 yrs ago where they/we have Western Sizzling. I met the love of my life just over 2yrs ago. In the last year he has taken me to "Sunny Side Up" the food is great. They give you healthy portions. It doesn't even matter that it's not a Buffet type setup. It's always full, but your special order does not take forever. I told my husband I have to give them a review. We were today for breakfast where you can get it (breakfast) all day. The one bad thing is that they close at 1500 (3pm). Did I say the food is great? Yes it. The food so much better than all the above mentioned. Savannah "Sunnyside up" has it hands down!!!

Great place for breakfast. I kept it simple and had a ham and cheese omelette it was delicious.

I have never seen such a well-organized and speedy breakfast rush! The cooks obviously work well together. Our server was extremely attentive and took great care of us. We went specifically for the chicken and waffles and we were not disappointed! All of our food was delicious and fresh.

When I'm visiting Savannah I eat here almost every day for breakfast! I love the shrimp and grits and my husband loves the chicken and waffles! My kids love the pancakes! Always fresh and made to order and you can't beat the prices!

Great, fast service. I loved my spinach, cheese, and ham omelet. The waitress was knowledgable and very quick with our service and refills of water. I even missed and left my phone and did not realize it until 20 minutes later. When I went back, they had my phone secured and I was able to retrieve it from them. Everything was great and I will be going back again soon.

Never disappoints. I've eaten here numerous times and it's always great! This morning, I had went somewhere else and never even got to order due to terrible customer service so I left to find somewhere friendly to eat. Sunnyside up NEVER disappoints me. Immediately was greeted by a friendly male server with a warm smile and good morning. That goes a long way and sets the tone for the visit. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend!

Don't let the outside fool you. This is the place to be for breakfast. You do seat yourself but our waitress was awesome. The food was outstanding and we didn't wait long at all. When I tell you that wast absolutely the best waffle I have ever had!!!

I stumbled upon this place my mistake. I missed a turn to my hotel. When I turned around in the parking lot it was packed. I entered and saw what looked like a well oiled machine of organized Chaos. They had about every ethnicity working for them which I thought was cool as hell. Someone was quick to ask me for my order (I did take out). If you eat in you seat yourself. The plates were big, prices were fair. I had Salmon Cakes with grits and eggs. The salmon cakes were a bit charged, but they were good. All and all the food was good. I'll be back.

This place runs like a machine! Very efficient. Food is great and comes out hot. It was my first time, and I will return next time I'm in Savannah.

This is always a fun experience, the sounds and sights as re of a real diner always busy but room for one or two more. We enjoy going there often. Food and service is great.

INCREDIBLE FOOD! We went here 3 days in a row. The owner waited on us twice and he was so quick and friendly. Seriously, you have to try it! It may look like it's in a sketchy area but just trust me. 😊 I highly recommend the sweet cream pancakes. They were so, so good... And I usually prefer waffles.

I had tenders and waffles. You get 3 chicken tenders, which were big. The chicken tenders were seasoned perfectly and went well with the waffle. I added a side of scrambled eggs too. I will definitely visit again when in Savannah

The food here was well worth the price. Large portions and very good. Every time I go here the staff makes me feel like I am at home.

Quick service, fine breakfast food. The place was noisy and packed, but on a Saturday morning, what do you expect, right? Always a good option for breakfast or lunch.
