What an odd thing to write a review for, but I had the best service here and would not hesitate to go back if needed. I went in to the emergency room early Sunday morning for severe abdominal pain. There was no wait, every person in the ER treated me with kindness and respect, by noon I was headed into surgery for appendicitis. The entire surgical team, the ER staff, the nurses in recovery, the radiology technician who did my CT, absolutely every single person I encountered was incredibly kind. I have never received better care.

I delivered my baby here. He ended up being a c section. I spent a total of 5 nights at Davis Hospital and all I can say is that this felt like a 5 star resort. I never expected to feel this well taken care of. The nurse staff (and all the staff really) in labor and delivery, postpartum, NICU, nursery, EVERYONE is absolutely AMAZING. This place deserves all the stars. They really do care for their patients and it shows. I will forever be thankful for all the nurses that took such great care of my baby and I. These people are angels. THANK YOU for making complicated moments as good as they could possibly be. You guys are the best!!!!!!!!
Oh, forgot to mention that the room service was great too! Kudos!!

Always a great experience getting my annual mammogram here. Shelley in the front office always remembers me a greets me warmly. Kim made the scan as comfortable as possible. Got in and out quickly.

Excellent hostipal. Great nurses. One Excellent one was Mike Rawlins he went out of his way to calm and explain everything for my 9 year old son that was having emergency appendix surgery. Even when is was busy Mike took time to check on my son and calm him down explained Iv needles surgery and any question my son asked of him. He even stopped by the waiting room to check on me while my son was in surgery.

My wife and I had our child delivered here with Dr Winters. Nothing but good things to say about everyone and everything involved. Staff was great, they were kind, knowledgeable, helpful, patient and would often offer things to be helpful before we even had to ask.
Dr Winters is great; excellent bedside manner, upbeat, positive, encouraging, optimistic, she makes you feel comforted and calmed many of our anxieties.
The only thing I can think of that could be better is improved sleeping arrangements for the husband. They have decent reclining chairs and a long enough couch, and I know I'm being picky, but another bed in the room would have been a welcomed amenity.
We're definitely planning to have subsequent deliveries here.

My grandson suffered a severe potentially fatal allergic reaction to a medication. went to Davis hospital and received Absolutely excellent care . DrSimmons ER doctor and Stephanie Weir ER Nurse were just wonderful. wont going anywhere else for my medical care

I had to have a fibroid mass removed, this was my first surgery so I was super nervous. The staff was amazing every single one of them went above and beyond expectations Dr. Bryant Johnson performed the surgery and his amazing team.everyone was very knowledgeable. Kari was one of my nurses and she was amazing and attentive and helpful I would definitely recommend this Hospital. Great experience.

Delivered my twins with Dr. Winters here & had an incredible experience. All the nurses & staff are well educated, professional & super friendly all throughout the labor/delivery, post-care side & the NICU as well. Everyone is so wonderful & truly cares about their patients. They also offer lactation consultants & their whole team is amazing with very helpful information & tips for first time moms trying to breastfeed. I definitely recommend this hospital to anyone looking for a good place to deliver/get good care at.

We’ve had a good experience anytime our family has received care from this hospital. Most recently my father who was very ill was rushed in unresponsive, they were able to revive him but unfortunately his health was so poor he didn’t end up making it. The staff took amazing care of him while in ICU, specifically a nurse named Devin labored over our father such that if he had any chance of making it, he would have. All of our experiences have been very positive.

I am so happy that I delivered my son (first child) at Davis. Prior to his birth, I attended a variety of free classes ranging from breastfeeding to car seats and found them to be extremely helpful and informative. On top of that, after the classes wrap, you are able to tour the L&D ward and ask the nurses any questions. for my son's birth, I ended up being in labor for about 24 hours and every nurse that entered my delivery room was professional, positive, and supportive. They helped me talk through my options and make informed decisions. The same can be said about the postpartum nurses and the Nursery nurses- I felt cared for the entire time and felt as though my newborn was in good hands. I highly recommend delivering at Davis simply for the high quality and training of their nursing staff.

Davis Hospital has the most amazing maternity staff. They were very friendly. Loved how they all just want to get to know you as a person and not just as a patient. They were all so caring and supportive to us and our needs and our family needs. I recommend them 100 percent. Loved the food. Amazing cleaning staff who were quick to responded when we were in need of things. We recommend this Hospital to everyone we talk to. We have had 4 babies here and every single experience we have had here was the best.

I just had an outpatient surgery yesterday 4/26/23. I have never felt more comfortable or treated so well.
From the Ladies who greet you and escort you at the entrance all the way to leaving the Hospital. Amazing staff. Appreciate everything they did to help me relax and be comfortable.

Friendly but not annoying beside manner by nurses in the pre-op surgery area. Doctor Wall anesthesiologist was the best I've ever had. I would request him if there was a next time. Upbeat, yet realistic, staff. Thank you so much for your care.

ER staff is super friendly and professional. I really appreciated the professionalism and competence of the doctor that helped me out.

I've lived in Davis Co for 20 years and have heard people badmouth Davis Hospital for almost the entire time. I've used some of the surrounding medical center facilities, my GYN and Derm doc are in buildings nearby, but never had occasion to need the hospital. My husband used a highly recommended Ortho doc for knee replacement 2 months ago, surgery and a one-night stay were at Davis Hospital. Our care here was exceptional. Surgical suite, admissions, PT, nursing, even the food was all great. For me, the experience was positive, I feel better living so close to a hospital I can rely on.

Two weeks were.spent in this hospital, including in intensive care. I cannot begin to express our gratitude for the universal kindness, professionalism, patience, and outstanding care we received from all who helped us through a difficult crisis. Outstanding doctors, outstanding nursing staff, prompt and cheerful dietary services, and clean rooms. Thank you.

I needed to have radiation treatments for breast cancer at Gamma West in Davis Hospital, I can not say enough about how pleased I was with everyone I came into contact with. Dr. Robert Harris and his nurse Melinda explained everything so well. Carson, Shane and Dewayne were so kind and caring. Put me very much at ease. Mandi and Lisa at the front desk were always so welcoming. Thanks to everyone attached to this great group. I am so pleased that I was directed to them.

On 8 Feb 2023 my wife, Sharon, had a full body scan in your nuclear medicine department. As many people are when getting injected with radio active materials, my wife was pretty nervous about everything. Tom did an outstanding job of putting her at ease by explaining everything that was going on, and even made sure that she could see and understand everything as each scan was happening. He was very friendly, helpful, and even funny at times. This wonderful technician was able to turn what she thought would be an uncomfortable experience, into a relaxed, informative and interesting experience that she was anxious to tell the rest of her family about. Thanks Tom, you’re the absolute best.

Shelley checked me in and was super friendly. Ellen performed my mammogram and when I had questions she was very thorough in explaining everything to me.

I had a wonderful experience while giving birth to my baby here. Due to the pandemic I delivered alone, and because of my amazing doctor Heather Scott, it was a flawless delivery. The nurses and nursery workers are absolutely wonderful, all if my wishes according to my birthing plan were followed and respected. Postpartum and the nursery were also wonderful. I was checked on and attended to regularly, concern for my comfort was a constant, and I genuinely loved the experience. Every employee that entered my room was respectful regarding Covid (mask wearing), and all asked if they could get me anything. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for taking care of my baby and I!
