I absolutely love this place. Everyone who works here is very friendly and knowledgeable. My fiance and I are both wearing wedding bands that we purchased here. I also sport diamonds in my teeth that I purchased here. These guys have unique and very beautiful pieces of jewelry and they offer great financing and reasonable prices. They are so much better to deal with than big commercial type Jewelers. I just love them!

I made the mistake of taking one of my rings somewhere closer to my house to get redipped and won’t make that mistake again. I’ve always been really happy with the speed and quality of Mike’s. I’m incredibly detail oriented and they are too. They even fixed a pavé stone that the other jeweler knocked out and tried to fix. I’ve waited over a decade to get things fixed/adjusted on my ring to wear it again and Mike had it all done within the day! I’m not sure what the problem was with the other jeweler’s rhodium plating but Mike’s is so SO much whiter and stays on longer. I still can’t believe the difference!

Mikes custom Jewelry has always been my go to Jewelry store to get birthday, anniversary, Mother’s Day gifts. The prices are competitive the jewelry is top of the line and the sales staff is always very friendly and helpful. I went in on my anniversary and they were able to size the ring I bought for my wife same day! There’s no better jewelry store to go to in the Salt Lake Valley!

Let me preface this review by stating 1st and foremost that they sized my ring beautifully and am happy with the result. I went into Mike's to get a price on resizing my ring up about a size. When I spoke with Anastasia she recommended a size and a half, but I thought that might be too large. She also quoted me a price of 120. Dollars, which I thought was a bit high for one size and I told her that. She then said she would take it to back to the jeweler to make sure they could size it safely. She came back and she had CUT my ring. I was just trying to get an estimate, but with them cutting my ring I pretty much had to go through with it at that point. When I picked my ring up I told the gentlemen about it and he said they would make it right on my next repair, so they were fair about it. The work was very, very good. My ring looked brand new and it's over 17 years old, just make sure you are very clear what you want before they disappear into the back with your jewelry. Some people have posted they are spendy and perhaps they are, but you invest in jewelry and you want it repaired correctly and professionally so it keeps its value. I believe they did that. Despite the misunderstanding, I will return there when my antique ring needs a new crown.

We went to Mike's and had an exceptional experience. We needed to replace my stolen wedding ring and had not been jewelry shopping in many years. Jake answered all of our questions and let us take our time deciding. We selected a custom design and couldn't be happier with it. Mike gave us his personal attention as well. We left the same day with my new ring and some delicious chocolate. Diamonds, chocolate and great customer service, it dosen't get any better than that.

My wedding ring was to have 2 diamond bands that surrounded the engagement ring. I only had the one and the ring looked incomplete without it. My husband decided to have the 3rd band made for Christmas. The ring was purchased in Atlanta and mo way was I going to send it there. Mike has worked on the ring twice and the only one I would trust working on it. I now live in AZ and when I was in Salt Lake first of December dropped the ring off. Mike and his staff promised me I would have the ring by 12/24. The ring arrived as promised and the band matched perfectly. The ring is beautiful! And now complete. I highly highly recommend Mike’s Custom Jewelry.

I have been to mikes several times throughout the years to replace small stones in my ring and even my main diamond as well then one day I bent the setting on my ring and went to see Mike to fix it and unfortunately the damage was too great to save so Anastasia spent almost an hour with me discussing my options and we decided to go with a whole new ring, I was so devastated that the ring I was wed with wouldn’t be the same ring I would have so she showed me several rings that were so similar to mine and then we found the PERFECT ring! It looked just like mine but was much sturdier and better built. My husband came in a few days later to take a look and was just as in love as I was! Mike was amazing and came out and spoke with us and customized the ring they had to perfectly match my ring so that no one would know it was different. The cost was MUCH less than we had anticipated and we knew it was great quality! Anastasia helped set us up on a 12 month interest free plan so that helped relieve the stress of this unexpected expense. They have spent so much time with my husband and I to create what we had envisioned and make me feel better about having to get a new one. I truly feel like family when I go in there and will never go anywhere else! My husband can be a very tough critic and he was amazed by their hospitality and generosity! They helped my husband pick out a new ring for himself as well. They always know our names when we come in and are so cute with my baby and help keep him entertained. WOW is all I can say. Was almost brought to tears when I went in today to see the wax creation of my ring, it’s perfect. I love that they make a wax version prior to the final ring to tweak anything and helped envision what we designed. So very happy we decided to come here and like I said we are customers for life! Don’t hesitate with your decision to go here, they are worth every penny and then some!

Mike's Custom Jewelry is the absolute best jeweler in Salt Lake City! We've been going to them for 20+ years (I have multiple pieces from them-rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets), and have never had anything but a delightful experience. The quality of their work is second to none, and the employees are fantastic! I recommend them to EVERYONE!

So we went to several places. One of them says on the commercials, he went to? You know who. They were so expensive. Went to mikes custom jewelry. And NO problem’s. A lot more affordable. So the other day my wife looks at her ring and sees it is getting lose. So again I take it to mikes custom jewelry. And they warranted it. So Freaking cool. They said no charge!!! That’s Amazing. That’s customer service at its best. I’m a lifer. No need to go anywhere else. These guys and ladies hit it out of the park.

My wife and I bought our wedding rings here from Anastasia, Brandy, and Dino. Great people and so easy to work with--no pressure whatsoever. My ring felt a little loose after wearing it for a few weeks. No problem! Dino exchanged it for one size smaller. We've been back a half dozen times to have our rings cleaned, and they always make you feel like you're their best customer, even when you're just getting your stuff cleaned!

I would highly recommend this place. Prices are just as good as anywhere else we looked, and they had some unique jewelry we didn't see anywhere else.

I have been with Mike's Custom Jewelry & Repair for 14+ yrs. My wedding ring was made in the 1400's no one would size it for me. They took the challenge on and it turned out beautifully.They make every vist special, from their customer service to the quality of work. They go above and beyond care for each customer and take the time to get to know the history behind each piece of jewelry. My jewelry has always been repaired before the date given for pick up. I live an hour from their store and gladly take the time to visit them when in need. Not only do they do repairs but they have beautiful custom designs on rings and necklaces. I did not love my wedding band. It came as a his/hers set with matching alternating rings of white and black diamonds. Mine also had 3 cut out stars on the back of a wide band. It looked somewhat masculine and I felt like it should have been worn at a blackjacks table in Las Vegas. On my wedding day my daughter even asked me (I remarried) if I had gotten the rings mixed up and if I was wearing my husband’s band. Ugggh!!

Since I have had some great experiences at Mike’s Custom Jewelry I took the ring to Mike’s and he soldered the engagement band to the wedding band. He did a fabulous job for a good price. The ring looked better, but still unfinished.

Most recently I lost one tiny black diamond out of the the wedding band, and of course I went back to Mike’s. Barbara was the gal that helped me. She was wonderful. We dreamt about what we could do to make the ring look more complete and feminine. She directed me with great ideas and advice, followed through with me, and was genuinely excited for my new venture.

We added another diamond band at the bottom and the stars were filled in 😉. Let’s not forget to mention the jeweler who did a fantastic job at executing my wishes . Now the ring looks Like one of those stacked rings, and is absolutely stunning!!! I love my ring now!! Thank you Mike’s, Barbara, and “the Jeweler”.

I went to Mikes to have my old wedding ring converted to a dinner ring. I worked with Becky and Mike and they made the process of designing a new ring fun and easy. I worked with a previous jeweler, that after 3 months, I still didn't have a design. In one day at Mike's I had a design, and a week later I had my ring that is perfect. Becky also sent me a hand written card to thank me. You get customer service there that is non-existent at most places today. Prices are fair and they make it fun.

What a great experience at Mikes Custom Jewelry shop. The sales person Ari greeted us the minute we came in and when we asked about updating my wedding ring I’ve had for over 30 years Mike came out to lend his professional experience. Let’s just say I found myself saying yes to a ring of baguette diamonds and Safire that I could only cry and say YES this is the PERFECT one!!!! You can design a ring or other jewelry from scratch and Mike and the wonderful staff will guide you through the whole process to help you make something truly beautiful and unique. They take the time to tech you about why things will it won't work on a piece of jewelry. Their prices are competitive and they stand by their work and will do everything under the sun to make sure you're happy! I picked them at random and I'm so glad I did. I could not be more happy with the work they did for me

It’s hard to narrow my review to ONE good experience with Mike’s Custom. Every single time I’ve walked in I’ve had an amazing experience. From a quick ring cleaning to small repairs, I have been treated with respect and care. Now I’m having a major maintenance done on my wedding set. I have all the confidence in Mike’s to make sure my set is safe for another 20 years of wear. LOVE MIKE’s!!!! #mikes’sforlife

The best.... When I first moved to Utah, I saw the TV commercials for Mike's and was leery and wondered what made them so special? When I needed a Rolex repaired I was referred to them. The expert and friendly nature of the their service had me sold!~ I have since been married, and they made a custom set of rings for me and my husband. So glad to have them as my jeweler!~
