Good prices on vitamins and pain medicine and toiletries. Like the beauty care options

I would not go any where else for mine and my daughter's prescriptions. They don't even need to ask my name, they automatically get my prescriptions and hand them to us. I don't know what Walgreens the other people on this site have visited, and left untrue comments, but it cannot be the Walgreens on Essen. The pharmacists and the techs could not be more knowledgeable and helpful. The cashiers greet you as soon as you walk through the front door, and are extremely helpful and kind. They treat us like family!

I had the pleasure of visiting this location 3 different times today 12/22/19 between 9:30 A.M and 11:00 shortly after my wife's discharge from OLOL. The first 2 visits I was fortunate enough to have Ms. Liz as my associate and she was a ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Her friendly demeanor and caring heart were obvious from the moment I interacted with her. Team members with her great attitude and positive influence are extremely difficult to find. She made a very stressful day a MUCH, MUCH Better day in every way. So much so that when my wife mentioned that we should fill her prescriptions at this location after driving across town & back I was all for it. I once again was greeted by Ms. Liz and her smiling face knowing that surely she thought I was crazy at this point for making a 3rd visit. I dropped my 5 prescriptions off and I was told that it would take 30 minutes to fill them by the friendly pharmacy tech (don't recall her name) I went outside to wait in the car with my wife only to return about 20 minutes later to be told as soon as she saw me that my prescriptions were ready. I thanked her for getting them filled earlier than I was told and that I appreciated it as we had a 4 hour drive home to Pensacola, FL . She said they always try their best. Thank you Walgreen's Essen Ln, Baton Rouge for exhibiting what excellent customer service looks like

I’ve used this pharmacy for years and never had problems. Pharmacy staff is friendly and helpful.

I haven't been to the Pharmacy side. But the service and the prices are great on the store side. Make sure you have the card.
