Howell Community Park

Love the kids activities and was so peaceful

Great playground suitable for all ages! Walking path, exercise station, swings, community pool, and baseball fields. Clean, well maintained and fairly new!

One of my favorite parks in Baton Rouge, it's currently undergoing renovations for the pool area but everything else is accessible, such as the outdoor exercising equipment and the play areas on both sides of the park. This park is big enough to throw a block party, family reunion or whatever else you may put your mind to. Love this place.

The park is beautiful and spacious. There are local gardens, ponds to fish in, trees that provide plenty of shade, and Pokestops for those that play. There's also a nice renovated playground for children to play in and a basketball court for the ballers. It provides an oasis in the city. Excellent place with family and friends.

This park has been wonderfully transformed from a little used public golf course to a community park complete with 2 kids play grounds, baseball field, basketball courts, fishing pond, community garden, natural areas like a butterfly garden and some wonderful mature shade trees.

Love this park. We started walking the trails in March 2020. Always clean and very shady. It's nice when people are out working in the community gardens. Check it our, its worth the walk.

The atmosphere is nice and inviting. The park is really. clean . There is ample shade and space to enjoy a day out with your family or host a child birthday party.

Nice place to fish, bring the children to play in the park and nice picnic area.

Enjoyed myself and my friend. We ate crawfish and had a good time

They even have sand area with 2 volleyball courts for beach volleyball!..Great park! Love what BREC has done too all the parks in Baton Rouge!..

Great park. Large, we'll taken care of. Plenty of paths to walk. I walk with my dog here.

Love this place very nice since they opened the back up and nice lake and different things for kids to play on

Great improvements quality park that with many features for the whole family.

For sure it's my favorite place to run away from day stress.
