Artifact Coffee

One of my new favorite spots to study in the city! Charming conscious cafe near Union collective. Very friendly staff, good drinks and food, atmosphere that is both ideal for chit & chat and meals as well as studying with outlets available. There is also outdoor seating as well as a small parking lot. Look forward to coming back

I nearly forgot how much I adore Artifact Coffee! It's a casual, open/roomy spot to socialize with a friend or two during the day. When I housesit for a friend in Hampden, I especially love walking her dog over to Artifact to sit outside and enjoy a cold brew or meet up with others in the neighborhood.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful if you don't know what to order! I appreciate their honesty and insight and have never been steered wrong by them :)

Outdoor seating is my favorite, but inside is pretty nice too! It's a little dim and feels like you're inside a cabin imo.

Coffee is always pretty consistent here! It's not my go-to for specialty coffee, but the atmosphere and food choices make Artifact a great spot to throw some variety in the week. They're great neighbors and a fantastic part of the community!

I just LOVE Artifact as an event space, especially weddings. If you didn't know it could be, now you know. It's such an intimate and beautiful space to host guests. The stonework, the lighting, 10/10. Pictures of just how amazing a wedding can be attached!

This is a delicious little spot in the Hampden area. The staff are nice and very helpful. I ordered a regular latte and a golden milk and both were very good. The espresso they use is really nice and has a pleasant dark flavour but not too earthy. The shop itself is in a very old building and it has a nice vibe to it when walking in. From the old stone walls and wooden floors to the records they play, it’s an overall great place to grab coffee. I have had some of their savoury and sweet pastries they offer and they are very tasty. I recently had linch and ordered a beef drip which was so good. Overall great place.

Such a dreamy coffee shop, with more moody cottage vibes than a sterile, white minimalistic coffee shop aesthetic. This place would be perfect for reading on a rainy day. I liked that they had an online order option, as on a Saturday morning, it is quite busy and hard to know where the ordering line ends. We were able to snag a table, and their food was absolutely delicious. The coffee is strong, and I'd love to try more options.

I love this spot! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great with rustic vibes. The Spiced Vietnamese coffee (pictured) is probably the most delicious coffee I've had. That says a lot since the spices are steeped in milk 🐄 and I'm really not a fan of milk. Really recommend you try it out. If you are lactose intolerant they could try to recreate it with their syrup. The sandwiches are equally delicious. Only slight downside is that you can't really access the Wi-Fi if you are sitting outside. Still can't recommend this place enough.

Artifact coffee has always been a solid place to catch up with an old friend and have coffee. The food is pretty good for breakfast. When I had recently gone, they were fairly busy. Overall really enjoyed them over the years.

Cute hipster coffee shop located in what I think was an old mill. The place is decorated in a cute way. I got the sweet summer drink while my friend got a latte. I’m not sure which university is nearby but there were a lot of college students doing their work there and it was a very chilled and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very kind and friendly to us and helped make recommendations. We arrived about an hour before they closed and the server had no problem taking our orders. I wish they were open a little later but I would definitely recommend and go back.

This coffee shop has great service. The coffee is not my favorite but the food is delicious. Pretty pricey but really good. Their homemade English muffins are amazing.

I love the vibe this place gives- the food and pastries are always excellent, and I enjoy the creative drinks like the lemongrass basil tea or my favorite: Matcha Latte with Oatmilk!
A perfect Oasis to work, hold meetings, or even a small event. I've seen people hold intimate weddings, birthdays and cocktails here as well!

I only got coffee but the food looked good. The space was so pretty and spacious. I wish more spots had the same look and feel. Bravo!

The breakfast sandwiches are so yummy--whatever they put in their kale is magical and you should add it to the bacon, egg and cheese. The Lefty Sandwich is also delicious and unique. The drinks are creative and good, I always go for a latte but my sister likes the flavored ones. One of the baristas, I think his name is Larry, is so friendly and personable--every time I go in his conversations with myself and the others in line make me smile. The only flaw is that because it's so good it is often very crowded so come early or during non peak times if you absolutely need a seat.

This is my favorite coffee in Baltimore. Their food is also AMAZING. The brunch banh mi and the fallin for you sandwiches are FANTASTIC. Their pastries are also sooo tasty. The service is also wonderful. Everyone who works here is so kind. I highly recommend!

Quiet and Cozy place for quick brunch, wait staff was helpful and provided good suggestions. Outdoor parking. Limited outdoor seating. Simple menu with a good amount of choices to cater to everyone. Has WiFi. Food was tasty. Not a good place for large groups. I would come back to try other choices on the menu.

Love this place. The food is great, the staff is kind and the drinks are delicious. They get a little busy on weekends but it's not a long wait for food.

My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner Friday, 9/9 at Artifact Coffee and the evening could not have been more perfect. Communicating with Jolanta was seamless from the very beginning. She was quick to respond to questions and helped us personalize a menu based on what our tastes are and what our guests would enjoy, especially with several vegetarians in attendance.

A few hours before, we dropped off some items to be used for setting up our dinner--some photos of us, place cards that also served as gifts for our guests, candles, flowers, and special champagne glasses for the bride and groom. That took only a few minutes and we were off for our rehearsal. When we arrived at the venue at 6:30pm, everything was set up so beautifully and perfectly. The venue itself is so rustic, cozy and quaint that it does not need much more decor, but the fact that we could bring our own flowers and candles not only cut down on costs, but helped make it more personal to us and our style. There is also plenty of parking which is a huge plus.

The service staff is so kind and friendly! They immediately began pouring us champagne. When choosing our menu with Jolanta, we told her we only wanted to serve wine and beer to try and keep the night a bit more tame since we all had a big day Saturday. This was totally honored and easy to maintain. For the appetizers we chose the Cheese Board: local artisanal cheeses, seasonal fruit, house-made preserves, honey, house baked crackers, and sourdough toast, as well as the Sweet Potato, Lettuce-Wrapped, Honey Ginger Soy. The staff kept everything moving and helped us stay on schedule. We sat down for salad and bread, and they served the Grissini & whipped ricotta and the Green Salad, Seasonal Berries, Local Nuts, Herb Vinaigrette.

For the main course, we chose two dishes that were served family style: Whole Roasted Chicken , garlic pan sauce and the Home made pasta, seasonal vegetables, white wine butter sauce. The sides were the Roasted Summer Vegetables with Rosemary & Garlic and the Salt Roasted Potatoes. Jolanta let us swap out certain veggies to ensure that we served what we preferred! For dessert, we did the sundae bar which came with a variety of toppings.

All in all, the food was absolutely delicious. Honestly some of the best food I have ever had. So fresh and appealing. Everyone was raving about it, and definitely appreciated the family style option. Wine was constantly served and our glasses were never empty. I will be sure to recommend Artifact Coffee to all my friends/contacts in the area to host their special events!
