Breakout Rooms offers an exceptional and fully immersive escape room experience. It's not just fun for families but also for couples on dates, team-building outings, and anyone seeking an exciting and challenging adventure.
Upon arrival, you'll need to complete a waiver, but the staff is welcoming and friendly. Your game master will provide clear instructions and remain available to assist with any questions or clues you may need during the game. You have an hour to work together, solving puzzles and making use of the resources and clues provided.
We chose to tackle the "museum heist" room, and though we came incredibly close, we unfortunately ran out of time. Our game master, Marcus, was fantastic and added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. We left with a sense of adventure and satisfaction and are looking forward to returning for another round of thrilling challenges.

This is my all-time favorite escape room location. My wife and I have done all their rooms (some multiple times), even their latest room "Kidnapping 2". Their staff is always prompt, respectful, and helpful. The rooms themselves are always reset correctly, have fully functioning props, and challenging yet logical puzzles.

We've recommended this location specifically, managed by Mark who's very genuine about providing a good customer experience, to all of our friends. If you're looking for a great group activity or even a date night, I would recommend Breakout in Columbia, hands down.

Fun time! We did The kidnapping 2, the new room that just opened. It was a fun experience in darkness and very dim light. It forces you to be thoughtful and deliberate with your work.

We were first timers to escape rooms so we didn’t know what to expect. Jenna was an awesome guide to help us through the game with just the right amount of hints. We definitely will be back and look to hone our skills. Jenna is highly recommended as a game guide as well and we will hope to do some more games with her!

Always fun and well thought through. All of their puzzles are linear. So there's no confusing, (unfair) re-use of random objects late game. It's a great model.

We did Museum Heist, very fun, interesting clues, I've never seen one of the clues in this room. Abby was a wonderful game master helping us through the room.

Cam did great.
We were stumped but managed to get through two rooms. Great experience, love the set up, we will be back. We definitely appreciated the hints.. thanks Cam and Breakout Games!!

Josh was awesome!! We did the runaway train and he was helpful when we asked for clues, but not tooo helpful in the way that you wouldn’t want. He was also just a good vibe and made it a better overall experience.

Went to Kinapping 2 tonight and it was great! just difficult enough for it to be enjoyable. All the clues made sense and tied together.

Breakout Baltimore in Columbia is awesome! My boyfriend and I did The Kidnapping and they really get you in the mood with handcuffing and blindfolding you. Definitely a bit of challenge, but we escaped before the kidnapper returned to finish us off. Marcus was a wonderful and delightful Game Master! Fun and friendly staff!

Doug was AMAZING!! Definitely made our experience so much fun and was super helpful. He’s awesome and we appreciate him so much for a fun time!

Really enjoyable experience with very well made and well maintained rooms and a great challenge. Our room master (Zach) was really friendly and made us feel really welcome, and provided hints (but not too obvious) clues when asked.

Lots of intricate puzzles with innovative ways the room is set together and quite difficult to solve.

Great experience. It was a group of 9 of us. We arrived at 6:15p for our 6:30p. Unlimited hints. We did the museum heist room and escaped with 6 minutes left on the clock. Would return.

Mystery Mansion was awesome! Josh helped us with clues and we escaped in 59:59 minutes!

We have done over 20 escape rooms and gone to this location twice to do the Island and the Mansion. Everyone was so nice and the room was amazing! Absolutely one of my favorite rooms. Would come back again

Had such a great time! My group did the train heist and it was such a fun challenge! I would suggest this place to everyone and you can come back again and again because they have a lot of different rooms to try out!

We did the haunted mansion and had a blast. Some really cool clues and ways to figure it out. We just barely finished under the time. Staff is friendly.

This was our first escape room experience, and we had a blast... literally! Josh was a great game master and helped us out clearly, despite our issue near the end. We still had a great time!

We went for a friend's birthday and had a 4:15p reservation for Runaway Train. I love escape rooms, and I went with a party of 8. However, this was a first-time experience for 6 of the people in our party. Our game master was Eric (sp?). We had fun, but I would definitely recommend trying another room if it's your first time or your fairly new to escape rooms because it was confusing to many of the newbies (it was a lot of math). So, we didn't make it out.

Also, many escape rooms have difficulty levels posted in the description, but Breakout doesn't. I would've great if they had this, so we could properly pick a room given that many in our party didn't know what to expect.

personally, I LOVED this. I would definitely do this again, I enjoyed the way how you could discover different things and be able to interact with different things. I would definitely recommend to do this for whenever it’s October.
Really fun to do with friends and family.
