Miss Shirley's in Baltimore Inner Harbor offers an exceptional dining experience with its delectable menu and outstanding service. Despite its more intimate size compared to the original location, this cozy café creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all its guests. The service is remarkable, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant meal from start to finish.

The food is the real highlight, arriving promptly and impressing with both presentation and taste. The pancakes are a must-try, living up to their reputation with a super fluffy texture and softness, perfectly complemented by the maple syrup. The shrimp and grits deconstruction is another standout dish, offering a fulfilling and comforting meal that is just the right portion. To top it off, the fresh fruit medley adds a refreshing touch to the meal, rounding out a truly satisfying dining experience.

Miss Shirley's proves to be a gem in Baltimore's Inner Harbor, setting the standard for quality dining with its delightful food and exemplary service.

I am so glad that I tried this restaurant! I was concerned about the 45 minute wait time but it was worth it. I got the gravy train skillet, the layers of flavor were unreal. The chicken was cooked perfect, the collared greens were seasoned well, the grits were amazing and the biscuit and gravy tasted awesome. My server was good, she checked on us often. She also went out of her way to make the drink I wanted... I appreciate that kind of service.

Miss Shirley's is as advertised. I tried the special, Red Velvet Pancakes, and added on the grits and turkey sausage. It satisfied every taste bud. Our server was great. I can't wait to return and the fried green tomatoes and monkey bread. Every plate leaving the kitchen had me plotting my return. We visited the Inner Harbor location. I highly recommend!!!!

I gotta say...I came here for the first time in 2014 on a road trip with my girls. We found this place by accident. The food was so good that I never forgot it! So needless to say, when I decided to take a road trip back to B-more, Miss Shirley's was on the top of my list of places to dine. I came to visit some good friends who don't live too far from this place but they never dined here. At the end of our dining experience, they kept thanking me for introducing them to this place... that's how good everything was!!!!

We usually have to budget on at least 1 splurge meal when we travel. Crab cakes are usually my splurge meal, but Miss Shirley's required my breakfast-loving self to budget for 2 splurge meals. One of my favorite breakfast spots EVER. Quality food that's prepared very well. Our server, Tory, was great and very friendly. Nice atmosphere. The Playoff Pancakes were so tasty.

We had a late breakfast here. What an amazing place!!! If you don't mind the extra calories, have an extra pancake. The omelette was amazing, the hash browns were delicious (hybrid of typical one piece hash and home fries), and the pancakes were out of this world! I also liked that they had a freshly squeezed juice unlike other places.

Best brunch in the area, hand down. We went two days in a row so we could taste more items on the menu. The pimento biscuits are right on the money. Coconut cream stuffed french toast was unbelievable. It was huge and so delicious. The shrimp and grits with fried green tomatoes are worth a revisit for sure. I wish this place was in my area.

Great food, service was a little sketchy but worth it for the amazing menu. I got the apple donuts, challah French toast, and my friend got the shrimp and fries on fried green tomato.

Disclaimer: This is a late review, so the menu offerings may have changed. I was in town for a conference earlier this year, and wanted to try a spot for brunch. When I travel, I try my best to patronize places that I can’t have back home, just to experience something different! I looked up “brunch inner harbor Baltimore” and Miss Shirley’s was a top-rated choice. I trekked from the convention center to see just what the hype was about. Lucky for me, it wasn’t just hype. I had some difficulty trying to find it, but when I entered a lobby, the Hostess was ushering people in, so I got in line. She greeted me and said it would be a slight wait as they were clearing tables. After about only 5 minutes, I was seated and given a menu. I’ll admit, it was a little overwhelming - so many choices! From savory to sweet. I opted for a savory special, after a description from my Server. I don’t recall the official name, but my dish was a decadent platter of a Gumbo and Collard Greens Eggs Benedict and a hearty helping of Grits in between. A true fusion of some of my favorite dishes in their own right! Every component was absolutely delicious! Well seasoned, spiced and came together so well. Paired with a fresh-squeezed glass of OJ… I was in comfort food heaven. My Server was really great, too! Attentive and I owed her the world for this recommendation! The atmosphere was bright, energetic and I liked the local-nod decor.

We had a party of 12. The staff at the E. Pratt St. location of Miss Shirley's seated us in a reasonable time even though the place was quite busy.

The ambiance was very nice, it was essentially all windows. Since this branch of Miss Shirley's is in a particularly scenic part of Baltimore, the choice of making this place all windows works well as long as there's not a snowstorm or a heavy rain.

Our server, Serita, was pleasant and efficient. The food, as is typical for Miss Shirley's, was amazing. I had turkey chile, My wife had gingerbread cookie cheesecake stuffed French toast. Miss Shirley had this on a monthly special. My daughter, the vegetarian, had a Baltimore Bowl without meat. Everyone else had pancakes or waffles.

There's a multi level parking structure across the street. Parking is expensive in the inner harbor area. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

This was a great experience overall.

This was in a very convenient location right near our hotel. This is a popular place so plan accordingly with a small wait (about 20 minutes for us).

The staff were very friendly and had the perfect amount of stops at the table. We also had a manager/supervisor stop by and check on us.

The food was great as well. I had the breakfast tacos, which was a great portion. My wife had the coconut creme stuffed French toast. She did say they tasted great but were a bit sweet. The portion size for that is BIG, so plan to share!

Overall I would recommend a stop if you have time!

If you're in downtown Baltimore, you should make it down to Miss Shirley's. We had breakfast here, and it was fabulous!! I tried the sweet potatoe pancakes, and the coconut cream French toast was heaven. Miss Shirley is not greedy with the portions either. I could not finish my dish.

We ordered the Reindeer Tracks Pancakes (Dec specials), Chicken N Waffles and Amy’s Bayou Omelet along with hot chocolate. We all loved them all! The food was fresh and warm, flavorful and the portion sizes were so large that we had leftovers to take out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The place was cozy and clean. Definitely recommend the place

Thoroughly spectacular. I enjoyed a breakfast meal at this fabulous establishment while I was in town for a business trip and my god I have to say it’s probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my entire life. I got the Cuban and I had thought the BBQ might be too much but it was JUST what the sandwich needed! Bursting with flavor and gigantic portions. I took more than half of the sandwich with me to go. The strawberry lemonade is the perfect mix of both as well - not too sweet or tart!

100% will return to this lovely place if I’m ever back in town! Great service by Gerald, too!

I had a great experience at Miss Shirley’s Cafe. The omelets were great, but the service was also awesome. Katelyn served our table, and I was so glad that she served our table. She had a kind smile during the whole time but also served all of her tables professionally. Definitely will revisit soon!

Came back to Miss Shirley's after being shut out by the wait times the day before, which added to the hype I was already feeling.

Delighted to say that it didn't disappoint. Cool diner vibe, complete with fun 60s music. Was stuck between the slammer sandwich and the chicken/waffles. When I asked for advice the waitress didn't pause for a second before saying the latter.

Great crispy fried chicken but the star for me was the green onion and cheese waffles. Love the savory waffle and the whipped butter made it even better.

Might have to come back to Baltimore just to try more of the menu. Lunch will not be required today. 😋

I make it a point to come here whenever I'm in Baltimore. I haven't been disappointed by a menu item yet. On my last visit I had the garden omelet with hash browns. Miss Shirley's is in a prime location and the atmosphere is really clean and cozy. The servers keep the coffee coming.
