The Valley Inn

We came here after church for a brunch fare. We were able to quickly get a table and were given ample time to review the menu. I had the crabcake with bacon in substitute of the coleslaw and fries, while hubby had the breakfast platter.

Food and service were hands down the best. I highly recommend you try the crabcake, as well as the cream of crab soup. The prices were fair in my book. We plan on coming back.

Customer service and ambiance were excellent.

Dogfish Head 60-minute IPA - smooth taste
Teeling small batch - 7.5/10
Chicken wings jerked - 6/10 not really jerked. Dry seasoning
Potato skins - 10/10 wish it had no bacon

Short rib - carrot purée 10/10 required no muscle to cut apart. Extremely flavorful.
Salad 2/10 no flavor to it, could do without it

Mac and cheese - 8/10 very creamy and nice crust

Outside seating is beautiful. Can see the lights and it holds warmth very well.

We just ate here yesterday for the first time, for our anniversary. When going through the reviews, I was a little worried, but it was amazing. Our reservation was at 6:30 and when we arrived at 6:15, we were greeted with a very cute card and taken right back to our table. It was super busy and everyone we talked to said it’s never like that on Sundays. Service was a little slow but it was packed so I figured it would be, however everyone was nice and we weren’t forgotten about even though there were many other tables. Our server was fantastic and treated us like friends, the food was absolutely delicious and hot, and the wine was oh so yummy. I would 100% recommend this place and I can’t wait to return.

A favorite spot for great Maryland food! Kind and friendly staff! The place has so much rich history and the decor gives off home-y and luxurious Ralph Lauren vibes.

Get the Cobb salad with oysters, shrimp and crab, the crab dip, the seafood gumbo (it’s amazing, we’ve been to New Orleans as reference) and mussels in white sauce!

Valley Inn is my go to spot for a date night or dinner with the family. Kid friendly, they have games and activities on the patio. The atmosphere is great. Love sitting in the patio area on warm summer nights or sitting inside by the fire in the dead of winter.
The food is good. I got the burger last time. Great taste with crispy fires. But the best thing to order for an appetizer is the buffalo cauliflower. This is a side, but order it as an app. You won’t be disappointed. In past visits I had the steak, crab dip, muscles, and salads. I have yet yo have a bad experience.

My new local favorite restaurant. Drove past it plenty of times. Finally decided to just pull into the parking lot and give them a try. Showed up at 5pm just before peak hours. So I was seated right away. The food was outstanding. Service was exceptional. But the highlight of my evening was the outdoor seating/experience. The owner(s) really thought this through for their customers. In a backyard style setting, they have Jenga, Ping Pong, and Corn Hole, TVs, and outdoor bar and more. Deck seating, and Patio seating. The list goes on. Very impressive place to dine. Will be a frequent patron of this place. Crab cake was the lumpiest I’ve had locally. And I have had all of what Baltimore has to offer with crab cakes. If you name the restaurant, I’ve tried them. The Grilled Rockfish entree was delicious.

Food always taste fresh! Servers are nice and polite. This place is my favorite restaurant in Baltimore area! I like that we can have sit inside or outside. I highly recommend it! My favorite food is Vally Inn burger! You also should try their orange crush drink, if you order alcohol. It doesn’t taste artificial! :)

Stopped in today on a whim and had a fantastic time. Our Leo look-alike bartender, really took care of us. The drinks, food, service; everything was great! Not to mention, they do have the best outdoor seating in the area! Plenty of bar seating and covered tables for larger parties. Inside, there’s semi-private, bar and covered patio seating.

Will definitely be back for football specials- and then some!

Oh where do I start with this one? The food? Amazing! The service? Perfect!
Everything was just right. The atmosphere was lively yet cozy. We sat in the booth dining area. I just loved this place. I'd recommend it for a date night or a girls night. If you've read so far the go there!

Had dinner at the Valley Inn with friends. They offer a half price deal on the eponymous Valley Inn burger on Monday nights so that's what we all had.

It's a ten ounce beef burger. It was juicy and delicious. I can't comment on the rest of the menu because all of us had the half price burger. I will certainly return.

The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was prompt, friendly and efficient. There's plenty of free parking. It's easily accessible for disabled diners.

My wife and I joined my brother and his wife for burgers. We were all quite pleased by our Valley Burgers. They were prepared properly and tasted great. I used to think that the Island View Waterfront Café made the best burgers, but now I'm convinced that the best burgers in Maryland are made at the Valley Inn.

I highly recommend the Valley Inn.

The expansive parking lot is always at least mostly full, attesting to the quality of the Valley Inn. This historic staple has thrived under the Atlas group with fantastic food, a well designed outdoor dining space, and now a newly renovated bar area. The menu is not cumbersome with great options for the limited size. The Mahi Mahi is top notch.

First time here; and we loved the place! Food was yummy 😋 the atmosphere was amazing and great customer service 👌🤩 will be back for sure, especially that they have live music 🎶 Friday and Saturday 🎸🥁

Very pleasant atmosphere. Lots of options for sitting outside on the new terrace or on the veranda or even inside. The staff was great. Large portions and tasty food. They have a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. Had a wonderful experience there. Would highly recommend it.

A Baltimore Institution indeed. Had a delightful weekend lunch here. Delicious cream of crab and Maryland crab soups. Large, fresh salads. Crispy fries and lump crabcake. Only downsides were that it took a long time (~15 minutes after we were seated for our server to first come to our table) and the Bloody Mary was watered down.

Always a delight to go to the Valley Inn. Their outdoor seating is like a dream. It's beautiful and spacious. Beautiful lights and plants add the whimsical atmosphere. The last time we went there was even a bonfire! The staff is always kind. I've never had bad service and we have been there quite a bit. The food is always delicious. I highly recommend the brownie sundae if you want something sweet. It's fantastic.

Such a lovely place. Truly feels like Christmas Day but year round! Absolutely terrific service and the food is just as amazing. Lovely time with the kids for weekly brunch! **not pictured* BUT their buttermilk pancakes are absolutely divine 👌🏾 served with maple butter, maple syrup and the most delicious berry compote. The steak and eggs surely deliver along with everything else! Yumm

I had the best time here with Raphael and Leonardo Diario look alike. They made our visit most pleasing by being attentive and serving up great conversations. My drink was created especially for me with the right amount of sweetness. The food was awesome. Chipotle Aha Tina and swordfish. Both very delicious. Melted in your mouth. This place had a nice mixture of guests. Reaxong and enjoyable atmosphere.

Rebecca J was great! It was our anniversary and she surprised us with a complimentary desert! Great service! It was a little loud but worth it.

One of my favorites. Great location set in the woods. Food is always wonderful. Steph is wonderful. Roxanne makes it enjoyable sitting in a small bar with the fireplace. For all four seasons it's valley in! For all four seasons it's valley in!

Excellent food! They know seafood very well. Try the Rockfish. Cooked to perfection and the menu has a great blend of tradition with a modern approach. Waitstaff are both intuitive and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back.
