Frank & Helen's Pizzeria

I was told not to miss Frank & Helen's Pizzeria. So for my solo meal of the week, I stopped here. A bit busy with a brief wait for a table because they just don't have enough servers. Still, the young lady who served me was fabulous perhaps because she wasn't completely overloaded. After I arrived at 7pm, only two other parties arrived after so I would suggest arriving later and you shouldn't have to wait.

The reviews of the creamy garlic salad dressing are legit. The salad itself is nothing special. It could just as easily have been from a bag at the supermarket and the same with the croutons. But don't miss the dressing.

I chose a Frank's Special pizza in "mini" size which arrived about five minutes after the salad. Perfectly topped and cut into squares, it was excellent. I did not notice the anchovies at all which was the only disappointment. Delicious toppings, perfectly cooked and not at all the "cracker" crust that Saint Louisans seem to like.

It's unfortunate that I didn't have a dining mate with me or we could have split a larger pizza and also tried the broasted chicken which looked and smelled amazing but I just can't eat that much food by myself. Maybe next time!

The potato sounds were possibly the best I've ever eaten. Of course the pizza was divine as well. They also had crown candy ice cream on the night we were there. Not sure if they have it all the time but what a treat!

When it comes to Stl Style Pizza, Frank and Helens is a staple for the region. When inside, the resturant gives off relaxing, homey vibes and has those awesome red cups you use to be able to find everywhere. You can definitely tell that this place has been in business for a while.

The food and drinks are great, especially the pizza. For this trip, we had a meatlovers and supreme pizza, both of which were excellent. We also tried their salads and toasted ravioli, both of which we can definitelyrecommend.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child. Best pizza ever! Don’t forget the steak fries. Bonus: They have vegan cheese!

The wings & stuffed mushrooms were good, but the pizza was really good. It had a nice crisp crust which my wife really liked. I thought it was a little light on the sauce, but it was good, and plenty of cheese - we chose mozzarella tonight, but they have 4 options. Toppings were plentiful, and tasty.

A favorite go to for fantastic broasted chicken and house salad with provel, anchovies and house creamy garlic dressing! The pizza is a thinner, not cracker, crust and is very popular and the pasta con broccoli was served baked and was tasty. If you haven't been, get the chicken. It's broasted but looks fried without the grease! Wednesday night is spicy chicken night. They should bottle and sell their creamy garlic house dressing..it's delicious 😋

I've been going here since high school...eeks! Then it was one of our regular weekend stops. Have not visited since the pandemic, but nothing changed. The best thin crust pizza in STL...hands down! Like the sauce, which is actually a pasta sauce and perfectly gooey and just the right amount of cheese on their homemade crust. Salad has always just been iceberg and a few add-ons but always cold and crisp. It still looks like it did in the sixties, and that is fine. If you want a slick corporate place bypass...if you want good pizza, then go! Most highly recommended, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A homey feeling Italian restaurant. The service was really good. And, they had a good gluten free menu for celiac.

The roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes are fantastic! Tried some cheese curds and pizza as well (first timer), and they were both great as well.

Super great value and cozy old school vibe. It looks like it did when your grandparents were regulars. Friendly hard working staff, extensive menu and unbeatable kids deal at $6.50ish including drink- even the kids chicken tenders are hand-breaded. They're busy at dinner- take their suggestion to "rush" your kids food especially if you're ordering the popular fried chicken which is 100% worth the wait (and weight). Mashed potatoes I think are geniusly Yukons instead of Russet so they are even better than you're expecting. Spaghetti was good but it's not a sweet sauce if that's what you're hoping for. Lots of menu items to choose from to please your picky crew. Excellent value. You probably won't have room for ice cream, which is a shame since I saw Serendipity's Black Walnut as an option. Next time!

Great place! Wish I'd have found them sooner, the Special pizza was fantastic and the service is outstanding!

Took the family on vacation to MO. I have to say this restaurant is by far one of the best in town. The service was wonderful and the food was incredible.

Was told to go here for the pizza because it was good. Well, the pizza was excellent!! The whole experience was great!! If ever in the area I would stop here again!!

Delicious food! They brought me the wrong kind of pizza at first, but they made me a new one right away. I love their pizza and their creamy garlic dressing!

Mom and pop place that delivers great food. Pizza and chili is what I had. Very very good. I saw the fried chicken plates and it looks amazing. I went on a Tuesday and they were busy. Looks like the have a lot of local customers. Can't wait to go again.

We had the Frank and Helen's pizza tin. Crust. Chicken Parma John. with spaghetti. It was all wonderful..

Great chicken per spouse, gf pizza 🍕 is wonderful and they have a gf menu not a perfect picture but you get the idea. People are friendly workers and customers.

I do lots of events as a marketer and I always cater with them. the best wings, pizza, pasta, and so affordable. always on time when I come to pick it up. thank you guys!

Homey, old school vibe with great food!
Provel cheese option is a must. The garlic salad dressing is also a must for garlic lovers.
