Amazing! There was a 40-minute wait, but let me say, it was well worth the wait. This is a family style, authentic Chinese restaurant. The best way to experience this in its fullest is with a group of 6 - 10 people. Everyone orders a dish or two to share with the group. They do have dishes that are appropriate for individuals, so don't feel like you have to have a large group. Everything pictured in this review was excellent! Our server was wonderful. She offered a couple of suggestions that were excellent choices based on other dishes we had ordered. This is the best place for authentic Chinese food that I have found thus far in the state of Missouri.

We were told to wait 35 minutes but we ended up waiting for an hour. But for Chinese food, we shall wait 🥲

Meanwhile we bought Smoked oolong bbt, less sweet. It was very legit!

We ordered the beef tripe cold dish, it’s chewy and spicy, worth ordering if you can handle spice. The beef hand-pulled noodles were a little disappointing as the noodles were mushy and not chewy as it should be. Eggplant dish was very yummy too, we drenched our rice bowls with the sauce!

Pleased to see high traffic, not only with people dining in but to go orders as well. I went specifically for the beef egg rolls! They were all that I thought they would be!! Delicious!! There's so much to choose from. My next visit deserves to explore more.

Amazing, delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine. I enjoyed watching the noodles and dumplings being made by hand in the open kitchen. The cumin beef, mala stir fry, and chili wontons were excellent.

One of the most authentic noodle and bao places in the Midwest!! Loved the atmosphere with the windows to the kitchen and blown away by the food. The tea eggs can be skipped but the bao's and noodles are a must have!

I go here every time I'm hungry! There is huge variety of dishes to pick from that you will not be disappointed, even if you decided to choose randomly! The service always is amazing and even take time to catch up with me whenever I come in. This is must when it comes to food and bubble tea!

We are out of towners and this was our first time. We had a group of 3 adults, 1 kid, and 1 toddler and were seated immediately.

They give you water right when you are seated and kids cup water.

We love that the menu had pics of all of the items and we got to watch through the glass window of food being prepared.

We ordered:

Coconut Boba tea, mango tea, Thai tea - all great

Sweet and salty cucumber: definitely a win for us to balance all the fried food. The crispiness and balance of sweet and salty was refreshing.

Calamari: perfectly crispy fried. Slightly saltier than I liked but still good flavor.

Chicken bites: we got this for my daughter and she enjoyed it, it's a bit dry due to being fried but not bad taste

Sizscheun stir fry: I liked the flavor of the sauce, it had a nutty peanut flavor to the brown sauce and the noodles were definitely fresh

Shrimp fried rice: met expectation and full of veggies and protein portions.

Fried pork spare ribs: it was good but a bit more browned and darkened than I liked versus how we make at home

Sticky rice xiu mai: I think we were expecting xiu Mai like at a Cantonese dim sum push cart restaurant. We were not expecting sticky rice when we bit into it and it threw us off. We all tried one and left the rest on the table.

Steamed bun and meat: we got this one out last but it was the best flavor and entree at the table. If you've been to Asian weddings that have steamed buns this would have been everyone's favorite.

We enjoyed our service and food.

A friend holds Corner 17 in high regard so I finally got around to checking it out. I personally think the loop is pretty lame, so I was skeptical at first, but they blew all expectations out of the water.

Upon entering you're greeted with an energetic full staff. The atmosphere is vibrant, customers are pouring in and out, and everyone seems pleased with their experience. Even with how busy it was I was seated promptly right next to the kitchen where you can watch them make the noodles. There is a bit of a draft and only 2 single person bathrooms, but considering the quality of food and service it's only a small hiccup.

There is a very large selection of different tea drinks. Many of which I didn't even know could be a thing. I opted for the, "Very berry cheese oolong tea" I know how weird that sounds but the cheese is more like a cream. It was pretty sugary, which is probably just me since I usually only drink water, but very good and a unique drink worth trying.

Up next came the crab rangoon and handmade wonton with chili sauce.
The rangoons were similar to your standard Chinese restaurant. Personally I like them to be more on the crab and less on the cream cheese side of things but they were still satisfying.
What really stood out were the handmade wonton. Oh my God were these good! The chili sauce is just the right amount of heat where you taste it but it doesn't over power the other flavors.

They're known for their ramen, but I took a simpler route and went with the, "Three Spoon Chicken" The chicken was tender and flavorful with a crisp crust, which paired nicely with the white rice.

I was on the fence between 4/5⭐
The rangoons were basic, but not bad, and I needed to keep my jacket on. The wantons were incredible and the main course was tasty. The tea was odd, but unique, and I'm happy I tried it. Other teas on the menu sounded really good.
What tipped the scale was the upbeat energy and great staff. They were fast and friendly, checking up pretty consistently, and very informative of the entire lengthy menu.
All and all I enjoyed my experience and plan on making more trips back since there were so many other options I would like to try.

P.S. There are pictures for almost everything on the menu which I find to be incredibly helpful for deciding what I would like.

Restaurants that go above and beyond to provide the highest quality ingredients and handmade noodles are few and far between.

This place is such a treat. We came here after driving past it so many times and I’m so glad that we finally did. Everything on the menu is fresh and homemade. Hand pulled noodles are such a game changer and are so hard to find locally.

The Szechuan diced wings are my favorite item. Spicy and delicious. Packed full of immense flavor that keeps you wanting more and more. 9.1/10 clucks. My only qualm is the small bone fragments. They really make you slow down and chew your food extremely carefully or else you risk chipping a tooth or swallowing a sharp particle. This is forgivable since it’s so unbelievably complex and mesmerizingly tasty.

The regular wings are fantastic as well. Not quite as much of a WOW factor but the garlic marinade is pleasant. These were some of the juiciest wings I’ve had in a very long time. 8.65/10 clucks.

My girlfriends favorite dish out of everything she has tried so far are the ones incorporating tripe. She can’t get enough of it. She tried the flounder as well which was flaky, delicate, and oh-so tender. She was also beyond impressed by the hand made noodles. Watching them make it through the window as you done is such a nice addition to the atmosphere.

Very strongly recommended this fine establishment if you want some authentic Chinese cuisine.

The food here is always delicious. It's always packed so come early or prepare to wait over an hour, but it's worth it.

Corner 17 is a very efficient restaurant with dine in and take out. The hand made noodles are delicious and can be eaten by themselves without much sauce. The bubble tea area has an extensive list of teas, slushies and milt teas. Plus you can have non dairy milk. The cool thing about the dining area you can watch the cooks make the noodles. It’s super busy here too but the waiters still check in often. The food is delicious! The sweet and sour cucumbers are fresh crunchy and has good seasoning. The chicken shumai is hand made, and very hearty and can be it’s own entree. The noodles and chicken were cooked perfectly! Definitely a place to go for authentic Asian/ Chinese food

Corner 17 is my favorite Chinese restaurant in StL. Every time we go another amazing dish is discovered. The wontons in chili oil appetizer is so delicious! Getting a chance to see the expert staff create the noodles & dumplings is part of the fun. 🥟

Hot and authentic Chinese! I loved the Mapo tofu and my taro boba. The potion size was also really big. Will be back!

Went here for my birthday. We were introduced to the restaurant in November by friends. The food was great. My son, who is 8, loved watching the noodles being made. He also was willing to try new food which is unusual. The staff is amazing and very nice. This has become one of our favorite spots to eat. Must try the pork bau.

The wonton with chili oil are the best I have ever had. I get my own order before dinner. All the boba teas and meals are insanely good as well. Everything I have had here is amazing.

Fun to watch them make the noodles through the glass. A perfect place for everyone to order something different and to share family style. Place gets very crowded QUICK with retry long wait times, so I would advice to either eat early or prepare to wait. Everything was delicious, and even though the picture might look a little bland, I would highlyyyyyy recommend the Chicken Hand Pulled Noodles - had some of the best flavor I’ve ever tasted in noodles.

We’ve always heard of the good reputation of this restaurant and we finally decided to have a try. We order the savory chicken and malatang. For these two particular dishes, I’ll say they are not very impressive, both have some minor issues, like the savory chicken was supposed to be cold and not that monotonically spicy, it should be more savory as suggested by its name. Nevertheless, they do offer some decent options on the menu, I’ll try to come another time.

Just a friendly, family feel in the air as you watch the noodles made fresh. The dumplings tasted delightful and fresh. I had the Pineapple Chicken and it was refreshing. The chicken wasn't heavy or greasy and the pineapple added just the right amount of sweet. Definitely returning here.
