El Azteca Mexican Restaurant

The staff is very welcoming and kind. My food always comes out quick, fresh, and hot. Generous portions and great prices. Definitely better than the other Mexican restaurants in the general vicinity.

Stopped in for the first time today and they did not disappoint! The food was fresh and delicious. Their lunch menu was very reasonably priced and each day, they have specials going on.

Staff is always friendly. Food is always hot, spicy if wanted, and well-seasoned. Margaritas are strong!
We have tried half the menu at this point and not a bad dish yet! Had the veggie quesadilla, Pollo Azteca, and Fajita nachos today. Also, Fridays have cheaper ($9-ish) Blue Curacoa and El Presidente margaritas. Best margaritas ever!

Ordered from here before and consistency is good. We got 4 burrito plates with rice and beans with cheese sauce, double fajitas with steak and some tacos. Food was prepared well and pretty fresh. Overall will come back again. Thanks!

El Azteca redefines what it means to be a "Hole-In-The-Wall". Literally a hole in wall off of Highway K in O'Fallon, Missouri, El Azteca provides high quality food and an atmosphere unique to most Mexican Restaurants. With prices that remind me of Pre-2020 dining my fiancé and I were shocked at the level of taste and charm both of our meals bring. The "El Tornado" one of El Azteca's signature dishes combines nachos with fajitas, bringing along vegetables you wouldn't usually expect in a dish like this.

Give El Azteca a try and your business, i promise you won't be disappointed. We will for sure be back to try the entire menu.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant to eat. In our opinion it's the hands down best place outside of Mexico itself.

Excellent food, friendly service, tasty drinks, will definitely be back! Try the Hawaiian burrito and the loaded quesadilla.

I’ve picked up lunch here a couple of times and the food is always delicious. They prepare it in a timely manner.

I love El Azteca. I've only just recently found it but I have been several times since. We love the menu, the cheese dip and the salsa is amazing. The draft beer prices are a little steep but it hasn't stopped me yet.

What an underrated gem of a restaurant. From the outside, this place looks tiny, but don't let that fool you. The inside is good sized. The menu is pretty standard Mexican fare. I've had the chicken quesadilla and chicken nachos. They were both excellent. The frozen margaritas are the bomb. They have excellent weekly specials. Went there on a Monday and got a percentage off my bill. The staff are friendly and very hard working. They were constantly running around and making sure guests were taken care of even though we went during a slower Monday lunch time.

Quiet & welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all very nice & helpful. We loved the warm chips and fresh tasting salsa.....the cilantro kick was great; we even ordered extra chips & salsa to take home with us for later! This is now one of our favorite Mexican restaurants to go!

Brought my wife here for date night, and we were not disappointed.Friendly service, and great food. The restaurant was very clean, and has a fun, colorful vibe. I had the Al pastor street tacos. Sweet, smokey, spicy(with red salsa), and absolutely delicious. The chips were fresh, and the salsa was very tasty. Prices were super reasonable. We will definitely be coming back here!
