Everything here is phenomenal, the best restaurant in Statesville, it’s modern and elegant, and it fills up fast on Friday and Saturday nights. I highly suggest making reservations for these nights. Or go on a weeknight when they’re not as busy. They have the best salads and desserts around too. The Thai beef salad is my favorite, and I love their mixed berry tart for dessert, the dough reminds me of an elephant ear from my childhood. They always seem to have a great feature entree as well, tonight I had a rack of lamb with their cauliflower mash and it was so delicious.

The servers are great, nice beer selection, and great cocktails with local spirits too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was so delicious and fresh. Actually my first time fish tacos . I also had fried goat cheese that was good. My side was Mac and cheese.

Outdoor seating available, friendly wait staff, gluten free food options. Had the special of the day (wild caught snapper) and it was perfect. Favorite thing was the gluten free appetizer (brussel sprouts, cranberry, walnuts, goat cheese).

Food was excellent. Fresh and made to order. I had a southwest salad with chicken and my wife has the prime rib sandwich. Would definitely go again

This place is GREAT! We both had salad after a long trip - we needed a light and healthy option. My boyfriend had The 220 salad and I had the Cranberry Chicken Salad. The salads were both huge and the dressing was amazing. I would say this is some of the best blue cheese dressing I have ever had. We were so happy we stopped in this location. The waitstaff was great and the atmosphere was good. They were having some ventilation problems that night, but we were so happy with our decision to give them a try. I highly recommend this great little place.

Stopped in for lunch and I'm so glad I did! I had the fish tacos. The Ahi tuna was perfectly seasoned and seared and piled on the tortillas. The flavor profile was on point, textures were great and massive! Also had the blue cheese slaw, definitely for those who love blue cheese. Service was great as well. I was in and out in 30 minutes which was perfect. Very chill atmosphere, whoever decorated this gem definitely has a knack for making a space feel welcoming. Will absolutely be back! Thank you guys!

Nice selection of small plates, salads & entrees. Tried the Thai vinaigrette salad with prime rib and very tasty.

Located downtown in a walkable area of town. Handicap accessibility to enter & use restroom.

Glad we found this place just a couple miles off the interstate. Very busy for a Monday night.

We had a marvelous lunch experience and a delicious dessert. Best burger I've had in years. My wife had the Ahi fish tacos and loved them. The chocolate torte was delightful. The sweet potato fries were overcooked, but everything else was just right. Can't wait to go again.

I just discovered a new dining favorite right in the heart of downtown Statesville. The 220 Cafe has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and food that is out of this world. The owner of the restaurant dropped by our table to say hi. The chef came out and discussed the wonderful food with us. Our waitress Alicia was fantastic. She made sure we were content and provided for during our lunch meal. The walls were decorated with beautiful artwork painted by one of their staff members. The prices were fantastic on top of the great service and food. When I want a night out or a quick lunch, I'll be headed back to the 220 Cafe.

Excellent Cafe. Very good, tasty food. Wonderful staff. I had the Blonde Sandwich. Smoked turkey, blue cheese slaw, swiss cheese on grilled sour dough bread. Makes your mouth water just from reading it.

Probably the best ribeye steak sandwich I have eaten. Atmosphere is very quaint. Wait staff was not only very pretty and friendly, but very efficient. Mac and cheese is made with smoked gouda so it was also delicious. Their desserts look good with the sandwich and side. Filled me up. In traveling back this way. I will stop in again.

This really is a good review. Please read past my rant.
Music should not be amplified AT ALL in such a small venue. We were miserable one Saturday night. We could not have a decent conversation having to fight over the noise. That being said, I'm at fault for not bringing this to the attention of management. When food arrived...we were too busy enjoying the the wonderful experience of flavor to care if we talked or not. We've been there a few times. Busy, packed nights and near dead nights. Regardless of what type of night, you will get friendly professional service. Bring your patience on the busy nights. The staff does make an effort to spend some quality time with each customer to ensure personal attention. On the dead nights, expect some personality to shine through with that personal attention. Starting with the small plates, we highly recommend the tuna, beef and beets. You really can't go wrong with anything. I would save the fried goat cheese as a savory dessert. But that is just me. With the honey it's sweet for me. It's really good though. Because the small plates are so good, we have yet to move over to the entrées. That statement alone should tell volumes regarding the small plates.moving on to dessert. We can't move past the staple. The Berry tart served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We truly want to try more but just love this so much. Now for coffee. No. They don't have cappuccino or expresso or anything frufru. Just brewed coffee. Drum roll here. We finally broke down and tried it after a big push from our server... if I cussed it would go something like OH MY DAMN! whatever brand this is....is mind blowing for brewed coffee. I don't even want to know the brand, because at home i would not get this wonderful experience of sitting there, dessert in front of me, slowly enjoying every sip.
We are foodies from Wash DC. We dine there and in and around the Chesapeake Bay area. (Primarily in Anne Arundel, Calvert and Saint Marys Counties) we are doing our best to review all dining experiences here in Iredell and surrounding countries.
I encourage you to read my rant regarding reviews. It can be found in a review of Logans. It is not about Logans. I just happened to go on a rant about negative people while giving a big thumbs up about a server.

Had the special for the day, rack of lamb and for appetizers, the tuna, portabella and kapow shrimp. Did not disappoint, great flavors and friendly staff. For such a small establishment they pack a punch, definitely recommend for night out with good atmosphere and food was spot on.

This has to be one of my favorite spots in Statesville. The food is amazing and you can tell that real effort went into creating the menu. I have even ordered through door dash and the food remains high quality.

220 Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants and a go to whether I have out of town guest I want to take out for a nice dinner or whether my wife and I are going out on a date. The food is superb, the staff are always attentive and professional, and the atmosphere is perfect whether you’re eating lunch or dinner. Went with our work and had a limited menu. I got the black bean burger. Though it was basically mush and not really a burger patty it was really good with alot of flavor.

I ordered the veggie salad and it was the best salad I have had in a longtime. The marinated portobello mushroom was exceptional, along side the asparagus and grilled onions. You earned a customer for life….Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
