Kerley's Barbecue

Nice family business restaurant. Employees were very nice . Breakfast was really good. Biscuit and gravy was good. My friends order ham, eggs and hashbrowns. Was good also. With breakfast so good I'm sure barbecue lunch or dinner is also good.

This place was so, so good! My boyfriend is a huge race fan and had heard of this place from a podcast he listens to. So of course after we toured the RCR museum we had to stop by, and we were both super satisfied with everything. All the ladies working were super nice and the food came out not even 5 minutes after we ordered. And the portions were HUGE, I left completely full and took my leftovers home and had a whole other meal. We will absolutely be back next time we're up here!

Tuesdays meatloaf special is awesome. First timer here at Kerleys and so glad I stopped in. I will be back.

Small town diner done right! The tea is sweeter than the southern hospitality that greets you when Wendy pops her smile through the drive through window. The food is good, prices are right; if you don't know you ought to find out ASAP! Service was friendly and quick. Bacon was crisp and the country ham was flavorful and not cooked to death. Both of which shouldn't be a problem but at most places we've been to lately it has . Will definitely be back. Want to try the meatloaf that has the great reviews. Thanks for a great breakfast

So far the food is good and service is great. Clean and nice decor. I don't like their booths. They are too small for ample folks like me. They serve their drinks in huge cups that are difficult to grip and there's not a cup holder made to accommodate this monster. Since they come around and refil your cup anyway, why not use a smaller cup. Less waste! Over-all this is a good place to eat.

Well I love there food it amazing and the waitress are very plight and they take are of you and get a lot to eat

Well this place is basically like a second home for me because my grandfather used to be an EMT and he would pick me up during his lunch breaks and he would take me to eat here everyday. I used to get the same thing hotdog with fries. And they were so good. And one time I remember the welcome fire Dept. And my grandfather and I during lunch on Saturdays would sit in the den thing with the long tables and one of the waitress would give me a note pad and I would take their orders and give it back to her. Anyway the staff is great the food is more than great it's a friendly atmosphere. Their almost like family. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone

Food is delicious. I had the hamburger steak sandwich special. Huge burger fixed with any toppings you want and fries for under 6.00 bucks. My husband loves their skins and dip. Barbeque is good as well. Staff is very friendly and we enjoy eating there.

The service is great. We got our food very quickly and the waitresses made sure we had everything we needed. They checked on us but were not pushy. STILL GREAT 👍

3-1-22 - Good ol' Kerley's Barbecue! Going strong now for 40+ years. Great Barbecue, but more than that to choose from on their regular menu. They also have Daily Specials that include good, home-style entrees and sides. I was able to get the Barbecue Salad for my Dad (chopped pork BBQ over iceberg salad with tomatoes), and also one of the special entreés offered that day, meatloaf with green beans, and mashed potatoes with gravy, for his supper. And if I'm not mistaken, the specials are under $6.50, which is a VERY good deal for home cooking. Family friendly atmosphere.

I gotta give Kerley's a 5 star. I lived in Welcome many moons ago and the quality of their chopped plate hasn't changed since. This is the best d@mm BBQ and tea this side of the Mississippi. A trip to or through NC ain't complete without Kerley's pork plates, sweet tea and hush puppies. I've had plenty of BBQ of the years, but none of them come close to this place.

My husband has a small chopped plate that was more than enough food! I had a Big cheeseburger all the way with tater tots. Everything was delicious! Clean restaurant and friendly staff!

Kerleys' has been a family favorite for over 25 years! Best BBQ chicken in the world! I never eat anything else. But I'm sure the BBQ is great too! Wonderful people beautiful place right down the street from the Vineyard.

Love this place!! I've been going here since I was so little. It's such a family/homie place. The atmosphere is great. Kerleys has such good food! I love any and everything from here!
