Getting a quote online was super quick and easy. Great prices. The first amount I paid was a bit higher than the initial quote but the monthly payment after that are the lowest I could find anywhere else. They send you all the paperwork and proof of insurance immediately, paperless, which is great. You can set up your plan however you like, choose a plan they already have or personalize your own. So far, I'm happy with my decision, no real complaints. I'd recommend them to someone.

They made the process easy. They were able to pull up all of my information for the vehicles and drivers. They provided me with the best online quote for 2 vehicles and it was very affordable even with the added extras!!!! Would definitely recommend family and friends to Direct General Insurance.

They are cordial at every field office and follow up after you get a quote online and is typically cheaper that the one you got on your email when you finish setting up your policy. I have auto insurance with them and it has been great so far. The webpage could use improvement (let's get those web developers to make some changes), but that's the only detail, awesome company and reasonable prices. Whatever I do in the future with my car, they'll always have my business!

Bought a newer car insurance went down 50$ a month! Never have any issues and love the grace period they give you before canceling your insurance cause everyone falls on hard times. Direct has always been the best priced insurance company and always offers full 12 month coverage where other insurance companies only offer 6 months and at 3/4 the price of a full year!

So far having only had this company for 2 months I have been satisfied with their customer service and their insurance. I would love it more if the rates were lower and there were more discounts but I'm satisfied thus far and will continue with this company as long as they keep it real and don't start charging me ridiculously like other companies do. The hidden fees I have seen elsewhere I haven't seen with them so that's always a good thing in my book.

Getting the auto insurance quote online was very easy and the quote for monthly payments was very inexpensive compared to other agencies. I have only needed to speak with customer service one time and she was friendly, knowledgeable and able to help me with a very favorable result in less than 5 min.

Direct General Insurance was so extremely fast, and easy to get online insurance quotes, as well as starting new insurance policies on our vehicles. I started with getting a quote online which was super easy to do! After instantly getting my auto quote I chose to purchase the policy. (Several other ins. quotes later... DirectGeneral was at minimum 10% cheaper than others.)
Right from the quote I was able to quickly fill out a bit more information, finalize and pay. Downloaded my ID cards and I'm good to go!!

This is a great insurance company. The online process was quick and I've already used my roadside assistance. The only con is that it took almost 3 hours to get someone dispatched. The only good thing about it was that I wasn't on the side of the road. But overall a great company.

Awesome experience! Very easy from start to finish and didn’t take long at all. The biggest plus is how much I saved compared to the “other” company I was with. I’m paying for twelve months what I paid for six for the same coverage!

I went to a local store in Largo FL on 66th Street. My experience there was terrible. The agent not only made me wait (there was no one in the office) but did not even made eye contact, I guess he did not want to give me that free backpack or whatever it was they where giving as a promotion, but dismissing me without even attempting to help me. Good thing that upon arriving home I had a quote on my email and I did all my business online. I did even use the live chat and that was even more helpful. Story short is that you have a new customer retained and gained by the website and I think that is a pretty awesome accomplishment. Everything is crystal clear and explained in understandable terms. Everything was fine. I've never had an accident in my life and don't plan on it. I'm 52 and don't know why I'm paying so much. I've been in the military I have taken defensive driver courses I've held a professional license and yet for the bottom in line of insurance I still pay more than I think I should... hope you guys are doing great have a good day. I did most of my insurance policy online. I don't have a printer so I just stopped in one of your agencies. It took all of 5 minutes to print my temporary insurance card. I doubled checked with the agent that I had done everything correctly & I was on my way. 😊😊

I don't understand why this company don't have more customers then already have. for one is super cheap. I mean ridiculously cheap especially here in Florida where the insurance is super pricey, They maintain a super low budget. secondly they have full coverage plus emergency assistance for like $120 - $130 a month which is perfect for somebody that works alone etc.

Most insurance websites can be confusing to get through. Direct General's is so easy to fill out and to the point so that you can get your quote quickly.
Also, I saved $37.00 a month more than what my previous ins. company was charging me. I highly recommend Direct General to all.

I Absoloutly love Direct! I never go with anyone else. Their prices are always reasonable & they provide excellent service each time I need them. The web site is very easy to use even if ur not big on technology & they allow u a grace period of sorts if u can't make ur payment on ur due date! I love Direct & they have a forever customer in me!
