My husband and I were just killing a little time on a day trip to Wilkesboro. Came across this place on Google maps and we were close so we decided to stop in. Upon pulling in the parking lot we were a little skeptical. The building was simple. The signage was simple(which by the way I love)
However, after walking in the door I couldn't have been more surprised. Wish I had taken more pictures, because the ones I did take do not do this place justice. Inside was 2 or 3 times as big as the building led me to believe. And friendly might be an understatement. We spent an hour or so just talking. These guys went above and beyond to help us and even told us about a great place in Wilkesboro to stop in and look at as well. Great selection of firearms and the only place I have ever seen an ammo "dispenser" 🤣 If you live near here or are just passing through I would say stop in. The local people love this place too. And they have conceal carry purses😍

Absolutely the top tier of firearm stores, knowable and super friendly staff. Amazing prices not only on ammo, but everything else you could want and need. The only store I go to anymore when it comes to ammo or other supplies.

I was in town for a couple of days and searched gun stores for something to do. The reviews of Elk Outdoors made me want to go check it out. Great place. I was the only person not greeted by name when I came in! Knowledgeable and very fairly priced. I made a purchase and I will be back!

I shop with these guys exclusively! Good local dudes; very helpful. When ammo prices were increasing everywhere, these guys kept their prices very fair. I never bother to write reviews but I will for them! Bought some green tips today & will swing back tomorrow too!

I’ve been into this store several times since they opened but I made my first purchase from them earlier today. They have always been very friendly, down to earth, and knowledgeable even during the times when I was just browsing. They have grown to carry a very wide selection of firearms, ammo, and accessories. Today’s purchase was a one stop shop. Rifle, scope, rings, ammo all mounted, bore-sighted, and ready to roll in under an hour with absolutely no pressure or attempt to “up sell” me. If I had done less talking and looking around, it would have been even quicker. I appreciate you guys. I don’t buy as much firearm related stuff as some do, I’m sure. But when the time does come, I’ll be back. Nice to have such a great resource so close.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Surprisingly good inventory and fair pricing...even on some increasingly difficult to obtain ammo such as S&W 32 long and .303 British. I kept going back whenever nearby.

Great ammo at great prices, the staff at very knowledgeable and are kind and considerate. Staff will go out of there way to go above and beyond to aid and assist there customers. Love going to my local gun store great atmosphere with always first in class knowledge. There is no other store that has their prices, the only store I know of that isn’t charging more for ammo. Would recommend to any first time or avid Gun buyer. Also carries fishing gear as well. I will continue buying with them for as long as they stay around.

For a Small Town Gun Store they beat the Big Guys all day long with Prices, Stock, Knowledge and did I mention they are down home country folk!!!! Always been pleased with their selection of Firearms and ammo but they have so much more than that!!! Holsters,Scopes,Safes, Fishing and Camping Gear, knives, Airsoft, I’m sure I’m missing stuff! Oh and they are Predator Experts!!!! Stop in give them a chance to win you over they did me and I haven’t been anywhere else!
