Hendrix Barbecue

Great place to eat, any time of the day. The food is amazing and always good. Their burgers and fries are some of the best in town and the wait staff is kind and always eager to please. The drive thru is fast, and you can't go wrong with the small-town diner atmosphere inside.

Hendrix Barbecue has good food. The wait staff are continually on the move. Different ones will refill your drinks. I have only had BBQ. My husband had meatloaf and it was delicious too! We love their baked beans. Potato Salad is good as is the Cole Slaw. Nice BIG hush puppies. We make a point to eat at Hendrix Barbecue when we are in Salisbury. Below are pics of just the leftovers. We ate lunch there and I had a plate for super. YUM YUM 😋

The country ham grits and eggs was the best. l recommend this place for a nice home-cooked style breakfast to get your day started.

Very splendid experience to say the least. Food was amazing! Service was phenomenal! The darling servers were extremely attentive and kind. My buddy and I were passing by heading back to DC from Atlanta and were so thankful we made the 10 minute detour. I totally wish we could take this place back north with us, but will certainly make it a priority to return on future ventures.

Yum!!!! Devoured the BBQ and I wasn't even hungry! It was so good. My hush puppies were perfect too, the way I remember the best hush puppies growing up in NC. I grew up in Raleigh area so I didn't know deep south BBQ either eastern or western NC... Really just Smithfield's for what I bought myself. This wasn't like Smithfield's which I think might be eastern? Anyways it had the great vinegar taste I love in NC bbq! The homemade banana pudding was just like a friend's mom made it growing up that is really hard to find done right!!

Other than this place being a little small those young ladies worked extremely hard handled my order, which was 115.00 and brought it out to my car in less than 10 minutes. Great job y'all, I highly recommend this restaurant if you like BBQ.

Grew up going to this place everytime I visited my grandparents. I was blessed to run into a family who frequents my resort 2x a year who happen to live in the same town. Now they make it a point to bring me BBQ when they come 😍 Now I get to enjoy Hendrix BBQ all the way in Tampa!!!

They have some of the best food, the atmosphere is always lively and family friendly. Their service is always spot on and I never have any complaints.

Food was great. The slaw has sugar in it and the BBQ is great. I forgot to order it without BBQ sauce. But it was delish.

If your looking for, great tasting, hot fresh BBQ and The best Seasoned Fries and some Wonderful Sweet Tea, go to Hendrixs BBQ!! They want disappoint You!! Our family Loves it!! They have wonderful chicken halves on Thursdays also! During the day , they also offer different daily home cooked items too, that are always good!! If your going to come at lunchtime, they can be busy. But they do have multiple seating options from ~tables to booths to accommodate. I would highly recommend you, try out Hendrixs BBQ on W. Innes St. in Salisbury , if your looking for a great meal! 😀

First time trying Hendricks I did take out and it is not only delicious but they give such good sized portions!I really enjoyed the fried fish!

Stop asking for tips when you go through the drive-through to pick up your food. And put some clothes on the girls.

WE WERE IN THE AREA TODAY, SO WE wanted bbq, this place was great, and reasonable price, when we are back that way, we certainly will stop again.
